I have had a membership with this place for over five years. They just recently upped it and the price is still fair and reasonable. The Customer Service is subpar, but my therapist Jamila is amazing and I'm having a hard time canceling my membership just because of how good she is. I don't live in the area anymore and I drive over 40 minutes just to have a session with her. Overall, the spa is good, and I have tried a couple Therapists that have been good prior to finding Jamila. I did also find my Facial ‍ lady here, but they have a high turnover rate when it comes to aestheticians. I followed her to her personal spot. All of the massage therapists are absolutely amazing. However, this Massage Luxe changed the owners a while back and the customer service at the front desk has since gone way down. There seems to be poor communication between the front desk, massage therapists, and the customers. I was told that I would receive a text message as a reminder when my massage was coming up and I did not. The wrong date was written down for my appointment and I missed it. They did not charge me extra and they honored my time. I was grateful for that! However, I specifically asked for hot stones and never got them. When my massage was over, I asked why I didn't get the stones and the therapist said my time was up and that no one told him he was supposed to be using stones. I got dressed and went to the front desk and explained that I was very disappointed and was looking forward to the stones. The girl at the front looked at my chart and saw that indeed I had asked for stones and all she said was "Oh, oops, sorry." I felt like she might as well not really cared! According to my massage therapist, no one ever told him that I was getting a massage with stones. I feel like they should have compensated me in someway, considering the fact that's what I went there for. But, no... nothing was offered except "Sorry". Upon entrance, no one walked me to back like they used to, and I waited about 8 minutes before anyone came looking for me, which chopped off my time. I am a member, but for some reason when I went to give a tip on the card reader, a price came up much higher (double) than what I would normally pay. They told me that their prices did go up, but not to worry because I was not being charged that amount. Yet the top amount shown was reflecting the non member price. i'm pretty sure they're just supposed to put the amount that you would normally pay as a member. That's how it has always showed up for members the last 4 or 5 yrs. I wanted to leave a tip based on my membership fee only like I usually do. I feel the people at the front desk could have a more professional and polished appearance for the type of business they are working at. This review is in no way a reflection on the massage therapists. Bernie was amazing as well as Jamila. I don't remember the names of the others, but they are all great! My issues are with the slippage of the front desk help, lack of empathy or professional customer service. Lack of compensation for their mistakes. I don't typically write reviews and if I do, they're usually only good. I discovered this place through Groupon. The deal was for a 60 minute massage and hydrotherapy massage pkg. I'm very familiar with massage and tend to be a bit picky. When I called to book it, I made sure to ask for somebody who is experienced. The reception staff was very friendly and welcoming. I was impressed with the professional and relaxing decor. The manager, Gabriel had me go into the waiting area before my massage and offered me tea, which was a nice touch! My therapist was Lazaro would did a good job and has 23 years of experience. Following that I did the 15 minute Hydromassage, which is the same as the ones at Planet Fitness. Afterwards they filled me in on the details and stated that its a non- contractual place even though payments are charged per month but can be canceled at any time. However if you pay $10 then you get another 60 minute assage if you book the following month for $65. Note: When checking in on Yelp, you also can receive a $35, 60 minute massage! So altogether it yields 3- 60 minute massages at $36 a piece! GREAT DEAL!!! I had been previously a member of Massage Green, Davie for years and ended up getting screwed over by the franchise owner who simply shut down the business without any notice and did not make good on the prepaid memberships!!! Worst massage ever but the ambiance customer service was good. It was easy to book the massage and pay. They have music playing and diffusers going, which is nice. When arriving, check-I is quick. I was detected to the waiting lounge, where although there is a sign to turn off phones, a man was in there having a loud conversation on the phone. I was taken back at 2:05 for a 55 minutes massage that ended at 2:50. So maybe 45 minutes instead. Since I didn't speak Spanish, I could not understand the woman I was given at all I booked a deep tissue massage, but just felt like someone spent time rubbing lotion on me instead. No pressure at all even though I asked for firm/deep pressure. Her technique was extremely inconsistent, as the left was never the same as the right side. She also only massaged from maybe mid-thigh down, but I'm not sure if that's standard practice for the establishment. Last, the oil/lotion feels thick however left white residue all over my body. In al the massages I've gotten, this has never happened to me whether I wore lotion or not. I'm used to being provided water after a massage, but didn't receive any which also sucked. Went here for a trigger point massage and left in more pain than what I went in with. I have had several trigger point massages before and know that there is a delicate balance with regards to how long and hard to hold a specific point and when it's had enough so as to not irritate the points being worked. So let's start off with things that went wrong and then finish on the positive points. In regards to what I said in the first paragraph, the technician that worked on my back, did not understand the training she received or wasn't trained in it. She spent way too long at each pressure point and kept going back to them after I told her to please move on. She also applied an excessive amount of pressure to the points. So much so, I could feel her at times on her tippy toes putting a great portion of her weight into a small spot on my back. Secondly, I had to keep telling her to please watch her nails as she was literally digging them into my back. I get it, you have a life outside of work and want to look pretty , but if you cannot manage to keep them how you like and do your therapy correctly, either cut them or get a different job that accommodates your life style. Lastly, while the focus of a trigger point massage is to target specific areas, this does not mean that you over look other areas. I feel that almost the entire right side of my body was over looked. The massage left me feeling awkward and not " centered" or "balanced". The night of my massage I ended up having to take Motrin 800 mg just to fall asleep because I was in intense pain. The good:Great location, in a shopping center with several places to eat and grab a bite before or after. The facility was great. Clean, well kept, and great amenities including a waiting lounge to set the mood for your services, unlike other massage places that have you wait outside near the checkin. Staff was friendly and made setting an appointment easy, even on short notice. I gave it a two star as the massage, which was the main reason I went there, was way below what I would consider acceptable. I would not go back here unless somebody I know has had a good massage from a different technician. Had the massage been good, would have given 4 stars, had it been great, would have given 5 stars. read more

This has been one of the worst experiences i had in my Life.  Be careful when you get a membership with these people. They treat you very well to get your busines, but if you want to cancel they treat you like a piece of garbage. MioI thought of canceling  in July but at that time the associate convinced me to freeze the membership by paying only 5 dollars a month. At that time I had 1 massage still included (and previously paid). Now  I decided  to cancel I called but they said I must go in person, I went to pembroke pines  location but they make me go to David location, once there, the irespectful associate who had  a very wrong attitude, told me I was not able to use the massage, and that I must unfreeze and pay for 2 months. I told him I just wanted to cancel and let him know I didn't want anything with Luxe Massage. He told me to sign a document and I told him I did not  agree with was written in the document.I don't  He said I must sign or he didn't cancel. I told him I have a lot of time and would wait for him, but Instead of going ahead and cancelli g, he called the police because (he said) I was trespassing. What a wonderful customer service. The Police arrived and took me out of the business and he brought the document that I had tosign including a note (I wrotte). when the police handed me back the copy,  the associate had written wrong information showing cancel date as Nov./6/18 6 but today is 10/1/18. In addition wrote as final expiration date 11/6/18. Nobody took the time to explain with courtesy to me ( a client) but aggressively just did it in the easy way for him calling the police. I have had a luxe membership for 18 years, and live in Tampa. I have 20+ hours collected bc I don't even like to go bc of high turnover and not so good massages. I was in town visiting colleges with my daughter and decided to"why not?"... so I called for an appointment . Misbel was WONDERFUL... it was the best massage I have ever had. Great experience! I'm very picky getting massages and visiting salons so the fact that I gave this place 5 stars says something. My sister bought me a massage through Groupon so I wasn't sure what to expect. From the moment I stepped inside, I felt the relaxation come over me. Very pretty and relaxing environment. I had one of the best massages EVER by Eric. I asked for the deep tissue and let me tell you, that's exactly what I got. When I go to spas and ask for deep tissue massages, I rarely get it. When I thought my spa was over, they brought me into this other room for a HydroMassage. Ahhhhh...this was so nice. This is part of your massage and is free. This was the icing on the cake for me. My best friend purchased a Groupon for my birthday! so that I could get a massage and hydro bed should of been included also i did not get the hydro bed and upon leaving the manager delandria was very unprofessional she is over weight and loud and stomach was hanging out and had the nerves to wear a crop top to work . She screamed across the room to the receptionist saying make sure you put the Groupon redemption code in we're going to need it as if the receptionist didn't already put it in upon check in and I honestly feel like the manager is a hater and she needs to be fired she was very unprofessional and the facility was dirty the glass in the entry door to the spa was dirty waiting room is small and dirty and their was no toilet paper in the women bathroom . The manager needs to do her job instead of trying to be little others because I still tipped my masseuse very well so manager delandria your a ghetto fat nasty slob . And you need to take better care of the facility instead of gossiping with men that don't want you and your messy front desk staff . BEWARE!!! Unauthorized charges! Worst account management and handling ever. Cancelled my account after having it frozen while waiting out the pandemic. Then they called to tell me I have a credit I can used towards a massage. But I have to pay to transfer my credit to another person. When I said no, they charged me $20. Then reinstated my account and began billing me the $5 monthly freeze fee. Called many times but they rarely answer their phone. When they finally did they put me on hold for 2 min, then hung up on me. I called back out me on hold again "while they review audio calls". It took so long, I drove to the location while still on the phone. Walked in to find the person who had me on hold just sitting around. I received a Groupon as a gift for a 60 minute Swedish massage and 15 min Hydroluxe (water table massage) as soon as you check in you are seated in a small lounge to wait for your therapist. My session was scheduled for 7pm but I didn't get placed until 7:15pm. I didn't think much of it because I figured she was go to 8:15pm. I was led to an calmly lit room with nice soothing music. My therapist asked what level of pressure I preferred and if there were any areas I wanted her to focus on. She did a great job, I hadn't gotten a massage in quite sometime I forget how nice it felt. Every so often she would check on the level of pressure and comfort. I enjoyed every minute of the massage. Unfortunately when it was over I realized she only did a 45 minute session. It would have been nice to get the whole 60 mins but I'm not the type to complain. At least the service was good so I was satisfied with that. After the Swedish massage I tried the hydrolux water bed. You're able to control the speed and pressure of the machine. It was pretty neat to try out. Overall the experience was good. One of the best massage experiences I've ever had. Called the day of and asked if they had a massage appointment available. Lucky for me, they did and I booked it right away. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by their friendly staff and taken to this super relaxing room with waters and tea available. I was given an I-Pad to fill out all necessary information. After I was introduced to massage-goddess Lily. I was walked to the massage room. It was perfect, very high-end spa like. Lily is absolutely an amazing massage therapist. Her voice is so soothing and relaxing. The pressure applied was perfect. When she was done, I was in a massage coma. I could hardly move. I wish I could have rented the room for another hour just to sleep. When I finally came out of my massage coma, I met Lily outside and she handed me her business card with her hours of work. Nice touch! I got to the register and they told me that the Hydro-Luxe bed came with my massage. It was for a free 15 minutes. SCORE!!! This was fabulous. I just wanted to stay here forever. When I came out of my second massage coma, I walked over to the register where I met with a different person. This was the sales person I'm guessing who told me about all the specials and how the spa worked (did not get her name). I declined since I get regular massages at my chiropractor. Had a poor experience. The therapist apparently incorrectly believed I had asked for deep tissue. Due to a language gap, she did not understand my requests for less pressure. After 20 minutes, I thanked her but asked to end the session. The manager asked about my massage and kindly gave me a coupon for a future massage. (Yes, I left a tip. I didn't feel it was right not to tip just bc of a miscommunication.) But, after I rescheduled, a different manager called me and refused to honor the coupon. When I told him about the previous situation, he said I was required to end the session within 15 minutes, not 20. The manager saved $65 for the store but lost a lot more in future revenues.
