I went here for a facial, and was probably the worst one ive ever had. The girl was very friendly, but i had asked her to unclog some of my pores around my nose and she completely ignored me. No aesthetician has ever done that to me before. They usually ask to do it for me without me asking. Also, i was on time for my facial and was done 10 minutes early. Friendliness doesnt make up for a bad facial. Big, expensive waste of money. I definitely wont be coming back here ever again. read more

I live about 1/4 mile from here and I am a massage envy member but I have yet to get a massage here. I just called again today and now they are booking them two weeks out. I can't book that far out, I wouldn't remember it. Massage envy needs to open another location close by this area so they can accommodate their members. What is the point of being a member if you have to book so far out. I am cancelling membership as I do not want to drive miles out to get a massage. Also, every time I call to check if miraculously they have a cancellation they are rude and very unhelpful. read more

I love Massage Envy. I received a gift certificate for Christmas and I ended up getting a membership. The customer service is very friendly and inviting. The atmosphere is very therapeutic. I am so frustrated with the service or lack of service that I just received at this Massage Envy. Please keep in mind that I have been a faithful member for at least the last 18 months at another Massage Envy. I was not able to get in to my regular massage therapist.... So for my convenience I choose to go to a Massage Envy location that is closer to my home. I called to make the appointment, with witnesses by the way, earlier today. I expained when I called that I was in an accident about 10 days ago and just needed a massage. (Yes, I saw a Dr. for Workman's Comp only) his advise... "You deserve a massage".. "Sorry you were in an accident". I told Massage Ency receptionist this... Fast forward to the appointment... arrived as requested 30 minutes early as requested for paperwork. Completed said paperwork, paid 10.00 extra for aroma therapy... I had 4 hours of credits on my account so used 1.5 credits for my intended massage. Met Krystal the massage therapist. After the initial pleasantries I began to explain those areas that were bothering me... I was perfectly honest because thats how I am... When I told her I had been in an accident she put her clip board down and said "I cannot see you"... "I will not take that liability"...you should see if you could call your Dr. to get a release... My response... "It is 8:30 on a Saturday night"... I am quite sure my doctor albeit Concentra is going to be available for a release... When it became evident that my much anticipated massage was not going to happen I returned to the reception area to get my money back (for the aroma therapy) and have my 1.5 hours of sessions returned to my account. To my shock I was told that that could not or would not be done since I was a member of another Massage Envy... I asked to speak with the manager but was advised the manager was not available. I was given the Name of Amanda Nielsen who is the "Manager" but would not be available until Monday... As I continued to request at least my 10.00 back another manager "Brittany" was called and again advised the front office staff that there would be no refund. IF I had requested an Aroma Therapy and received it without paying I would have been arrested for theft or shop lifting... But Massage Envy can take my money and not provide anything in return and that is called business practice.... "Because I am a member of another location". This is a definitely a corporate business and they don't let you forget it. I visited this location on a recent trip to Mesa and I must say the front desk team is no where as helpful or courteous as the one on Lynnwood WA. I wasn't greeted when I walked in, I wasn't offered a neckwear and was barely guided tithe tranquility area, wasn't even offered water. The massage person however was wonderful. read more

I have been a loyal member of massage envy for several years. No complaints about the facility or their therapists as they are all great. I am however disappointed with the assistant manager Jordan who after beating around the bush finally just said she was choosing not to help make a simple transfer of points to another facility. I have 3 hours of massage credits on my account that were paid for and due to massage envy never being able to accommodate me with a therapist, I wanted to transfer them to my sister and brother in law so that they could enjoy a couples massage at another location. I have had that done before with no problem in May so what's the big deal? I'm considering canceling my membership. Why should I pay in advance for something I can't ever enjoy? Massage Envy is supposed to relax you.... NOT STRESS YOU OUT. read more

Got a gift certificate for a massage . Therapist was late picking me up no biggie except 60 minutes in Massage Envy world is more like 50 minutes our time . Massage wasn't bad, I've had better She was talking during my massage always a bummer. I think my next gift certificate should be to a resort spa seens how I'm kinda picky . I received a gift for a 1 hour massage. I was told to arrive 15 minutes ahead for paper work which I did. My masseuse came to get me 10 minutes after the hour so when she was finished I checked my time and noticed I was cheated out of another 5 minutes. Big sales pitch upon check out. The the new price list suggests that next visit will be $95 for 55-60 minutes (if your lucky) I don't think so. Big up sell. Big sales pressure. The masseuse was kind gentle (as asked) but I would not even be interested in a free membership here. I've had so many better massages. read more

I have been a member at Massage Envy for at least 8 years. I don't know what is going on at this location but my last 4 visits over the past 2 months have not been quality visits. This store does not seem to be concerned about repeat business. After being pressured to commit to a 3 month membership after stating repeatedly that I would have a hard time using it in 3 months, scheduling the 3rd visit was late and no courtesy was given. Just sorry your out of luck, basically. An independent massage business would surely allow some leeway if you missed your deadline for the 3 month agreement. It's just good business. The front desk staff is amazing. They are so attentive and helpful. The massage therapists are fantastic. LMT Michael G. is absolutely amazing! Come get a 90 minute or a 2 hour relaxing deep tissue massage from him and you will think you were in Heaven. They also have great skin care therapists here. If you really want to treat yourself, go get a 2 hour massage followed by a 1 hour facial. It'll be the best 3 hours ever! read more

There needs to be a way to give negative stars - massage envy at power rd and mckellip rd in Mesa is absolutely horrible! After trying to get an appt for 2 weeks - I finally asked the manager to give me THEIR schedule so I could schedule my massage around what worked for them . Absolutely horrible customer service! The massage therapists are great but the management and front desk should have a negative rating. I have been a member of this branch since it opened. I get a massage every two weeks and a facial once a month. I cannot begin to tell you how many times they have messed up my appointment. I had an appointment scheduled for 8/14/19 at 8:30 p.m. for 90 minutes. I even had an appointment card! This was specifically scheduled because I have a pending surgery. When I arrived they said that I didn't have an appointment. I showed them the card and they said that they forgot to hit the "save" button and gave my slot away. I would expect a mistake once in a while but this happens ALL THE TIME. Folks, you can't count on them or your appointment. This is particularly sad since I have been a member for so long and literally spent tens of thousands of dollars here. Adding insult to injury, I have filled out their survey. when the mix ups occurred. where they say they "care". Guess what? NO ONE has ever contacted me. If you are starting out with ME, then find one owned by different parties as it can't be any worse that what you will find here. read more

Awful experience! Was down in AZ visiting family and I decided to use my membership at a location in the area. Saw Michael G for a 60 minute session and he would not stop talking! It felt like he wasnt interested in my needs at all. All he wanted to talk about was himself and the massage was way too deep!! He commented on my eyebrow ring and we got to talking about piercings and he told me he had a penis ring! DISGUSTING!!!! I wanted a massage, but was nervous about signing up for a membership because my first massage envy massage (not here) was not very good. I spoke with Tianna who told me they had therapists there who would meet my needs (deep tissue and trigger point therapy). She went out of her way to let me know the therapists that would be a good fit for me. She explained all of the details about signing up for a membership that I didn't know like how they roll over to the next month if you don't use them. She set me up with Holly who was amazing! Holly listened to what I said I wanted and was both knowledgeable and skilled. My neck feels great. I can't wait to go back. read more

Extremely unprofessional staff at the front desk! They were talking about a customer (First AND last name) whose credit card had declined for the past 3 months that they tried to run it. The two women at the desk were talking quite loudly and speaking poorly about the man whose card had been declining. It was incredibly rude and unprofessional. Worst place ever. You will not be able to cancel your membership once you sign up. They will still charge you and say you didn't sign a paper then you lose your banked massages. They continue to try and make you transfer them. Very deceitful. Buyer beware. read more
