Massage Envy - Massage Near Me - Claremont, California

If you ever visit the Claremont, CA location, I highly recommend requesting a facial from Christina. She's the best and is a master at her craft. Guaranteed relaxation from beginning to end. My wife also got a facial from Christina and she loved her and vowed to go back on a consistent basis. read more

This was my first experience with massage envy, and honestly 10 out of 10. I communicated to Aaron that I had hardware on my fibula and he was so gentle and careful, which I truly appreciate it. Staff was very welcoming and made me feel very comfortable. I just wanted to say thank you. read more

I always feel amazing after a facial with Christina. She is kind, professional and extremely knowledgeable. The therapists really make or break a spa and Christina is a true gem. It's not always easy to find someone who you can trust and who does a terrific job. The products she's recommended have been excellent and I never feel I'm being 'sold' on something I don't need. I leave glowing, relaxed and looking refreshed. I highly recommend. read more

I lucked into the best massage therapist at Claremont ME, his name is Josh. He is so good, he knows where to find knots, he has long strokes, uses his fingers instead of a lot of therapists who use a lot of forearms and not really feeling your muscles like fingers can. It can be really hard to find a good therapist who knows what they are doing and that is Josh. read more

Massage was wonderful. Made another appointment scheduled this week. The environment was very clean. read more

I had the worst facial EVER. It was my first visit . The front desk girl was absolutely rude told me I was all signed in asked me to wait in the relaxation room my facial was at 4.30. It's 4.40 and then the aesthetician walks in and she says Oh you haven't signed THE form . Then she goes to the front desk and then a young lady comes in with a clipboard and says oh sorry you HAD to sign these forms which I would have if she was doing her job. Then I go in . I signed up to have a Microdermabrasion - then when she is about to begin the machine does not work . She spent a good ten minutes trying to get it to work which she couldn't . I asked if they had another machine and she said this location has only one machine. So I told her to do a regular massage which was TERRIBLE!! She finished on time exactly at 5.30 read more

My girlfriend and I had been to another Massage Envy location before and loved it so much that we decided to make this our anniversary gift... and they did NOT disappoint! I had Kristina (or maybe Christina?) as my therapist, and she really focused on my neck and feet--exactly what I asked for. The pressure was perfect, she knew exactly where to massage to get the knots and nerves, and she was so gentle with how she spoke and handled lifting my legs and head during the session. If you're curious about the cost, we paid $140 each for a 60-minute massage as non-members, and we tipped $15 per masseuse, which came to $310 total for a couple's massage. It's definitely pricey, but if you have the means and want an amazing massage experience, you NEED to come here. You won't regret it! ‍ read more

Great service, Arianna my esthetician is amazing and explains all the techniques and products thoroughly, she does an absolutely amazing job and is passionate about her profession. The front desk staff are always so friendly and helpful. read more

Got a massage from Anna and truly couldn't be happier. If I could give 10 stars I would. It was absolutely incredible and she was so professional. I will definitely be coming back and recommending anyone who goes to Claremont to see Anna. read more

I cannot in good conscious recommend Massage Envy, and especially this location. Having received massages at numerous businesses, Massage Envy is far overpriced at $140 an hour, not including tip. I haven't had a good experience at a Massage Envy location, and the Claremont location was no different. The front desk staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. If this review was for the front desk personality and service, I'd give 5 stars. The massage was terrible and the lady was borderline rude. During the massage she asked how the pressure was, and I told her she could be a little firmer. She laughed and asked if I was sure and told me she thought I would "regret it." There were points were the pressure was a little too much and, one time, I asked for a little lighter. She told me "oh no, you can't do that to me now, you need to hold on." She then proceeded to continue with the same pressure in the same spot without changing a thing. She focused on what seemed about 70% on my right side, which left me feeling uneven. She was kind of rough and crude with her technique. There were very few parts of the massage that were smooth and relaxing. When she used towels to wipe the oil off at the end, she kind of threw/dropped them on my back. When my massage was done, I was told "that's the end of your session, have a good evening." The masseuse then walked out of the room and I never saw her again. The massage therapist was highly un-empathetic and borderline rude. It was by far the worst experience I've ever had and it was even more painful paying this place $170. I felt like I got robbed, to be quite frank. I cannot and will not recommend this location to anyone. The price is far, far too high for the service you receive. read more

I've been coming here for over a year and have never been disappointed by my facials from Christina or any of the massages that I have gotten. The spa is clean and everyone is friendly. I look forward to going every month. read more

This review is specifically for Denisse and not the facility itself. Denisse is in a word: exceptional, exemplary, superlative. You're probably thinking, "that's more one word!" Well, that's because she's THAT good. One word doesn't do her justice. I began a few months ago getting massages from Denisse, and I simply can't see myself going to another provider. She's so sweet, STRONG, and within seconds it is clear that she knows her craft well. I always look forward to the days I come in to see her. She definitely has me hooked as a long time customer. Give her a raise! read more

Friendly staff and they listened to all the areas that needed a massage while also applying the correct pressure! Will be back

I have been seeing Christina/Kristina for over a year for customized facials and I appreciate the care and focus she extends. She is gifted at what she does. read more

I was skeptical of this chain of massage places. BUT I WAS WRONG. Carol and Denise at this Massage Envy location are AMAZING. If you like a firm amount of pressure and immediate relief from aches and pains- I can't recommend Carol and Denise enough. Two visits with Carol and i feel like a new person. She's a miracle worker! read more

Carolina was absolutely amazing! It was the best massage I've ever had at massage envy. If I'm being honest I wasn't able to find any reviews for Carolina so I was skeptical but it was so wonderful I had to come leave a review myself. Do yourself a favor and book a massage with her! read more

Annette was attentive, intuitive, kind, slow (in a good way), thorough, and all-around magical! Both her hands AND personality are magical. Can't recommend her highly enough! read more

I called to get more information on their gift cards and deals. A lady answered and was informative and I told her I ll be in later to purchase my gift card. I get there and she ask me to wait outside and wait for her to finish a phone call. And then she came over and checked my temperature on my wrist. They believe it gives accurate temperatures. I purchased my card with cash and she had to find change for me. And we completed the transaction. read more

This place is awesome! So clean, peaceful, everyone super helpful and friendly. My gratitude is huge for AJ however. He really knows what he is doing and isn't just there to give you a great massage for an hour and boom done. No, he truly cares about your problem areas and gets In there good to fix them. I love also that he makes you feel very comfortable and just makes you feel like a friend which to me is super comforting and I trust him 1000%. Massage Envy prices I feel are very good but For me personally getting massages twice a month isn't in my budget at all, but it's because of AJ and the progress we are making and how good I've been feeling Physically, mentally, emotionally..I make sure to do whatever I can to keep this a priority in my life. Highly recommend this location and highly recommend AJ! read more

UPDATE 12/1/21: Massage therapist Justin is no longer at this location, so I have been seeing AJ regularly for over 6 months. He's a natural at what he does & always knows the areas that need focus. He has positive energy & is always friendly & pleasant to be around. Book months in advance for him, his schedule is busy. read more

They are located at Baseline Road & Mills Avenue in the Vons Center and are impossible to miss. It's a clean and inviting facility. I've been coming to this location for a couple of years and I've never had an unpleasant experience. The front staff is always courteous and they try to accommodate to your requests. Once I was running 15 minutes late to my appointment due to excessive traffic - I called them to notify (fully understanding that I'd be paying for an hour massage and missing 15 minutes of it due to my own delay) and they actually re-scheduled me to a half hour later. This was completely unexpected and super appreciated! Of course some of the estheticians (for facials) and thereapists (for massages) are better than others, and you have to try them to see who works best for you. For facials, I like that they use all Dr. Murad brand products which I can trust and actually enjoy. I've had facials at other salons who use various unknown branded products which I don't feel comfortable with. It's not a luxury spa by any means- nothing fancy - but you do get pampered at a "value price" at Massage Envy - averaging $50.00 hour massages, and $60.00 facials plus gratuity. After you're done, walk over to the Vons and treat yourself further with a personal size fruit tart! ;) read more

Lucky me! I won a drawing for a free facial at this location! And since I was going to be spending some quality time here, I decided to book a massage too! I'm not a stranger to Massage Envy--I usually visit the Upland location, and occasionally the Ontario location. This location is new and huge! I got lost on my way back from the restroom! So back to the services--the facial was wonderful, especially since with age, I'm doing double combat with wrinkles AND acne. They use Murad products, which I have never used on my own, but seem to do the trick here. At the end, Julianne made some product recommendations, but no huge push for the sale. I decided on one, and may build my collection each time i visit because I really enjoyed the facial and plan to return. The massage was good, but I usually like to try a few different therapists to see which i like best. And I was glad that I was able to stay in the same room for all the services. This is definitely the place for me, for Happy Hour(s)! read more

I have since purchased a membership for this location and it was solely on Amy she always takes WONDERFUL care of me and is very cognizant of making sure I relax. One thing I do not like and must make a mention to is if your massage is one hour how come it isn't a solid hour... I come early so that we may began on time but I always feel jipped :/ now of course I can request a longer massage but I just wanted to voice my ponderings. Front desk staff is courteous and remember me each time. It's worth the investment and I look forward to my massages every month. Respectfully Reviewed read more

Caveat: The only reason I'm giving this ME a 4 instead of a 5 is because of a couple of last minute appointment drops. Meaning, I had scheduled a massage a few weeks out, and one day prior, both times, one of the admins called to tell me my therapist was unavailable. I understand that last minute cancellations sometimes happen, but it was disappointing both times. That being said, I've been a member here for about 3 years and those are my only complaints. Ambience: Every time I go to the Claremont ME, I'm greeted warmly, offered water, and invited to sit either in the lobby or the quiet room which is this lovely, relaxing space just off the reception area. The facility is always clean, which is great. Membership: I don't have trouble freezing and reactivating my account when I need to. Usually I freeze it for the summer, because that is when I travel most frequently. The admins here are all pleasant and professional, and sometimes the business owner visits to see how things are running, which is encouraging to see. My therapist: Christian is one of the best I've ever had. I've been getting massages for a little over ten years now, in just about every other state, so I know what is good, and what isn't. Christian is really intuitive, and treats our massage sessions like an opportunity for healing the whole person, not just relieving muscular pain and tension. He remembers what we've been working on, and checks in to see if any other parts of my body need attention before we get started. If you aren't a person who likes to engage in conversation during massage, he completely respects that. But it has been lovely for me to be able to develop such a good rapport with him and feel not only physically renewed when I leave, but mentally, as well. Overall, this ME is excellent, and I plan to keep my membership for as long as I possibly can. Self-care like this is worth the expense, and for what I get here, that expense is reasonable. read more

I've been coming here for 2 years now. Probably once to two times a month. The staff are super friendly and professional. They don't try to over sell things to you. The place is very clean and the ambience relaxing. The therapist here generally are very good. I have my two favorites ( keeping that a secret). The therapist I have are extremely professional and work with you to give you a great therapeutic experience. If you are going to come regularly - it's really worth it! read more

The products are not high quality! For the cost of each session they, it does not worth it. Also, the last time I used their lip exfoliating product for extra charge besides the membership fee, it destroyed my lips! My lips are still peeling and so dry to the point of bleeding! I'm very unhappy and disappointed that I spent so much money without any results!!! read more

Blanca is an incredible massage therapist! She made me feel comfortable from the very beginning and is very attentive to my problem areas. I cannot recommend her highly enough! read more

It all started out all good. I bought a 6 months package with them under the understanding that wouldn't get charged however at the very end of my 6 months there were telling me that I didn't have an extra the massage that I was supposed to have and charging extra fees and not willing to compromise or comp are compensate me for their mistakes so I wouldn't recommend them cars are not honest when it comes to the keeping their word they're honest when it comes to getting your business but in the in depth no integrity around what's supposed to be done and customer service horrible read more

Boyfriend had requested to cancel our memberships early this year due to COVID fears and doors being shuttered. He was told that could be done and it was infact done for him. This week he was charged for memberships and instead of respecting our anxieties surrounding this global pandemic, the sales rep decided to bicker back and forth with him on the phone and refuse to refund despite the fact that we never should have been charged in the first place. When there's a deadly virus going around, I do not feel safe going here and am amazed I am having to deal with any of this. read more

Gina was amazing. She worked out knots I didn't know I had. I'll definitely come back.

I have been a member of the Massage Envy in Claremont for over two years and always receive excellent service from the wonderful girls at the front desk. More importantly, Blanca, is the best masseuse I have ever had the pleasure to experience in over 25 years of getting regular massages, whether at the former Ritz Carlton Pasadena, or anywhere else! I will gladly stay a member of Massage Envy as long as they never let Blanca leave! I highly recommend Blanca and Massage Envy in Claremont! read more

I've been a member for 3 years and have accumulated so many hours because I can never get an appointment to coincide with my availability. The employees give different information regarding freezing accounts to use up accumulated hours. I wish someone would buy my unused hours and take over my account. I want to close my account but don't want to lose all the money I have put in. read more

This place demonstrated compassion and support to me when I had a dizzy spell after my massage due to dehydration, Nicole was suppose to do my schedule facial after my full body massage, which did not happen with the near syncope episode, she stay in the room with me for 1.5 hours until I recovered and Melissa the manager kept checking in on me also, and called the following day to make sure I was ok, they made me feel like it was not all just about the money but human compassion which we lack a lot of in today's society. This was very important to me, therefore I will definitely be returning read more
