I've been using Stephanie a little over a year constantly and she knows every inch of me, and just when I think she can't locate anymore knots or tender areas, she always seems to find them and put me back in place. I think 5 stars are not enough for steph . I would put 100 if I could . Steph is one the few therapist that I trust massaging me with all the issues I have with my back . She's the only one that made my maternity massages feel so comfortable and amazing . I wish I can get a Massage by her every single day . Stephanie's hands are a gift from GOD himself. I have a hunchback and with that comes lots of pressure on the shoulders. Stephanie relieved almost all of it our first session. Stephanie was amazing. Where do I start. Her work space is set up so perfectly. It's welcoming and relaxing. She's full of knowledge and takes a realistic approach on the "help me help you" aspect, she knows what areas are connected to eachother, she listens to what you want and need but also let's you know what can possibly be causing the issue. Stephanie is AWESOME! I was hesitant in having a massage since the first time I had a massage, it trigger my arthritis to become present in joint where it wasn't already active. My first massage was very light and relaxing, per my request. Communication was key. She listened to my concerns and I told her sensitive areas or when she could press harder. I didn't have any issue with my joints flaring, so I booked another appointment. It has been over a year now that I have been having regular massages with Stephanie. I am now up to a medium-firm pressure and have never had a problem with my joints. She has even tried to help me with light stretching to improve my range of motion/flexiblity. By getting my regular massages, I am now able to notice tension and knots in my body and then let her know where an area of focus may need to be. Stephanie also remembers each of my recurring problem areas and knows to tread lightly when first touching those areas before building up the pressure. As far as the environment, it is very relaxing. She has a warming table for the winter. She also plays relaxing music and uses essential oils. Whenever I am finished with my massage, I am so relaxed, that I just want to go to sleep. I have been getting massages 2 to 3 times a month since 2004 so I have definitely seen my fair share of massage therapists over the years. I started going to Stephanie 5 years ago and she is, BY FAR, the BEST masssge therapist I have EVER had. What makes her so special? For starters, she is extremely knowledgeable of the human body and so unbelievably aware of how each of our bodies carry stress differently. She customizes my massage to what MY body NEEDS. She listens to all of my complaints when I tell her about my problem areas. I prefer deep tissue and have had 100's of deep tissue massages. Stephanie's technique leaves me so relaxed and at ease. You will NEVER find a therapist that will work out the knots in your neck better than Stephanie does. Most therapist are hesitant to work on your neck. I mean, get in there deep and spend 20 minutes on it of needed. They just don't do it, but Stephanie DOES!! Most therapists just go through the standard protocol, rubbing in the same motions as they did to the four clients before you. Sure your massage was relaxing, but did the feeling last? Did it take away your migraine, hip pain or chronic neck pain? I am here to tell you that with Stephanie, especially if you see her 2-3 times a month...she can get rid of that chronic pain! She is amazing and I'll never go to anyone else! She Is a therapist that truly cares for her clients and she enjoys what she does and takes great pride in it.
