Do not recommend this location. My husband was placed in hospice care in September of 2024 and died in January of 2025. Needless to say, he had service credits that he paid for that he was unable to use due to he advanced declining health. I called on 3/3/2025 to address the matter and was told to expect a call back by 3/5/2025. After two days had passed, without a call back, I called on 3/7/2025 to be told by the manager on duty at 4:20 pm that the account had been cancelled after my initial call and they would be keeping the money/sessions that were prepaid. "The services terminate with the contact". I offered to provide the death certificate to verify that the account was not "terminated", but my husband died. If you are in pain, do yourself and body a favor by scheduling an appointment with Norman. I've been dealing with the side effects of a sciatic nerve-numbness, pain, etc. Scheduled an appointment with Norman and after 2 visits the numbness in my foot is gone. Every single month I have an issue. My masseuse herself is wonderful but the people at the desk...I just give up. From constant issues with billing and then today I show up for my massage and they have me booked for a different time. I show them the email I got over a month ago from when I booked it (not online, it was in person after my last massage) the email showed the correct time and somehow my girl got double booked. I got no email changing the time or canceling the original appointment. I'm just done. I'll be canceling my membership and going somewhere else. My husben and I have been members for over 5 years and here in the last 1year or 2 we are being changed our fee be are unable to use them because every time we make an appointment it is canceled by massage envy store because of not stuff to see us this has happened to us over 5 time now and we canceled our membership because of this in January (jan 27) and they still change us a fee, We had an appointment for Feb 17 at 3:00 but that was canceled and moved to 7:00 that or so we were told and we got there and then was told it was for Feb24 at 7:00. I was very upset left and then we get a call from that office today that told me that if we want to use our rest of the appointment it would have to be at another office. I told here to canceled the appointment on the books because we will not be able to get all 10 appointments in with in the sixty day that the contacts states. Every time we try the office cancels on us. we have only two location that is within an hour of us. So we now will be out of pocket over $500.00 dollar because we are unable to use then on felt of our, because of pour stuffing at your offices. the cancelation happen at both of the offices near us. read more

Front desk staff that's unfriendly and "doing time" and a management team that is completely non responsive. Good luck trying to get anyone to return your phone calls---unless of course you want to sign up for a contract. If you want to get any attention in this place, tell them you're calling in to join---then you'll get a human being on the phone. Go see Norman. I have frozen shoulder. Haven't been able to lift my arm over my head in almost a year. Three sessions with Norman and the miracle of myofascial massage and I can lift my arm over my head. He is a miracle worker. I feel almost normal again. We are still working on it but every session I get a little more range of motion and I can even hold the dog leash in that hand and my strength is coming back. My review of Massage Envy has to do with my 80 year old mother in law's experience. She takes water aerobics at the gym next door and decided to stop in several months ago to have a massage. The employee at Massage Envy talked her into a "monthly membership" (... keep in mind she is 80 years old...) She came home and told us she really didn't want a membership but felt pressured by the employee. I contacted them to request the membership be voided - they said OK. Well - guess what - the monthly charge has started reappearing on her credit card again. This time my husband will be handling these people - and it won't be a "pleasant encounter" for them, I can assure you. Massage Envy may offer great massages - I couldn't tell you - but I can tell you in at least OUR experience, they have unethical and predatory sales practices. My review is from a previous experience so maybe by now things have changed but I have yet to return after the terrible experience I went through on my birthday! I live in Buford and work for the post office in Buford and would go to this location 1-2 a week for a few months before this incident occurred. On my birthday me and my fiancé arrived in an attempt to get a couples massage which I made sure was the first massages of the day because we had a busy day ahead. Upon arrival we were told that one of the therapist was double booked somehow and they only had one available at that time. I asked if we could wait until the late therapist arrived and was told that the one therapist there has an appointment directly after so they wouldn't be able to wait. I asked if we could go ahead a lay down and once they arrived just come back and join the other therapist, answer was no. I asked if they could just move us back to when another therapists arrived, I was told that then someone else would then have to be canceled. Well im here first, it's my birthday, I come here very frequently, and it's not my fault that you all double booked a therapist. The same way they were explaining it to me, they could explain it to the one appointment they would have to cancel vs cancelling 2 appts. At that point we were told that they would not cancel another persons appt due to their error and we could either decide which one of us is ok with not getting a massage or both cancel our appointments. It's been 4 months and I still have not been back. I drive all the way to Snellville to get my massages now and I live on Buford Drive at the Mall of Georgia! It bothered me that much that I'd rather drive way out of my way or just stack up credits than to revisit that location. Leaving the review now because this same thing just happened to me yesterday in Miami while on vacation and I told them that I was very unhappy but at least they didn't do it on my birthday and to frequent customer. I've had a membership for 2 years and have only had 2 issues. This one definitely being the worst due to the specific circumstances. I loved the therapists here too, but inability to accommodate customers by management has kept me away. I attached a screenshot I just took and you can see that I went back to back in March. Oh goodness so I dont ever write reviews..... I am from California out here to visit Georgia, I've had a ME membership for about 6 months before I cancelled in June. One therapist that I went to exclusively when I had my membership a few years back was no longer there....so I had to start back at square one. First 2 therapists I tried were just awful, novice at best, one worked on me with bandaids on her fingers!!! So needless to say I eventually decided to cancel....I didn't like the "gamble" every month. I had one credit left that needed to be used before the end of July when I would lose it. So I made an appt when I was here visiting family. I was told his name was Anthony....errrr....a guy??? But I was assured that he was very good, I said ok fine, we'll see. I went back and forth about an hour or an hour and a half. Booked for a hour and a half, but then called and left a message stating I just wanted to stick with an hour only. So I show up and here's Anthony, quite older than I expected, wasn't really feeling all that comfortable, but figured I could suffer through an hour because that is what I was accustomed to at ME. He was very warm and polite, shook my hand and told me to not ever lose that smile. We went back and I told him the areas I was having issues with. He walked out and I got undresses, kept underwear on which I never do! Laid on the table and waited..... I get massages frequently, at least twice a month. I can honestly say this was the BEST massage of my life!!! Talking with him this was a career move after he was forced into early retirement, he said he found his niche, I agree!! What a gem you all have here in Georgia! I will be back before my flight back home. Wish I could pack him up and take him to Cali, he should be a trainer because he really knows what he is doing. I was so shocked and pleased after my first massage at this Massage Envy location, I became a member and just received my second massage today. I NEVER would have walked in to one of these places had it not been for a gift card I was given, but I'm so glad I did. I assumed that this would be the "Walmart of massage experiences," but thankfully I was dead wrong. Kareemah has taken care of me twice now and is amazing!! She seems to specialize in deep tissue massage, which I prefer. I'm active in yoga and martial arts, and stand on my feet all day in the salon, so I like a heavy & skilled hand to work out the kinks. I think the trick at these places is getting with the right therapist for you. It's important to be vocal! If you'd like more or less pressure during the massage, say so! If you'd like more work on your upper back, tell your therapist! Kareemah listened to my needs, and her intuition was spot on. 4 stars simply due to the general vibe, (a little "cattle call-esque" when they are really busy) and because the walls are thin, so you can hear a bit if people are chatting in the hall. They're pretty up front about what their program entails, and explained in detail their appointment no-show policy as well as requirements for membership cancellation. And the prices are reasonable. read more

I was mistakenly double charged my monthly membership payment, and as a result was charged with overdraft fees on my bank account. Although it was confirmed that I would be refunded the extra monthly payment they charged me for, I have not received reimbursement for the overdraft charges that incurred as a result of their mistake. I have called multiple times to remedy this with them and be reimbursed for their mistakes, however I have received no response. My recommended advice for Massage Envy would be to be more responsive and return calls in a timely manner, especially with issues that could be remedied quickly. We went for a couples massage last night and it was definitely not worth the money. My therapist had cold hands and basically rubbed lotion all over my body...there was no massaging going on. My boyfriend scheduled a deep tissue that was not deep at all but instead a rub down. Neither one asked about the pressure while they were massaging and their hands consistently left our bodies. My husband and I joined, and the last two visits we were misquoted information about out our pre-paid balance and cost. I will not be returning to this location for 2 reasons: 1. As a Black person, I am very aware of the difference in how I am treated compared to a White person. On the one occasion that I did go to this location, when I entered the facility and stated that I had an appointment, Chandler, the lady sitting at the reception desk who was White, just gave me papers to fill out and that was it. However, when a White man came in, she was very cordial and offered him his choice of beverages to drink. She had not done this with me. I told her that I wanted to speak with her. I indicated to her that she had not offered me anything to drink as she had done with the man. At no point, did she offer an apology. 2. The masseuse did not indicate what I was supposed to do once she took me to the massage room. I was getting a feet and head massage and was not told that I was to take anything off. I knew that I had to take my shoes off. The massage was fine. Overall, I did not like the reception I received, and I believe in first impressions. read more

We went here today for my birthday. We Had a couples massage. It was my fiancé's first massage experience and my 3rd. Overall, I was not impressed. The front desk staff was goofing off upon arrival. Our 'greeter' could have been a little better dressed and manicured. Her shoes were a little frumpy and her nails were a little long and the polish was chipping. I would have preferred for my masseuse to be a little more heavy handed. I felt like it was more of like a 'rub' than a massage. You know when you go to the nail salon and the ladies "massage" your hands and feet... Yeah. Kinda like that. Just as she would start to work in an area and it would start to feel like she was getting somewhere she would stop to add more lotion or move on to a new area. We filled out paperwork and was asked which areas we would like for them to work on, so why not read the sheets?? I don't think I would make another appointment here. My fiancé on the other hand said he felt like his masseuse was able to work out most of his knots. He felt as though she read his paperwork and was able to focus on the areas he felt like needed it. However he stated he feels like it could have been better. Said the massages I give at home are better. At the end we were asked by our masseuses how our experiences was. They gave us a run down of where our "trouble areas" are and began to tell us we should get a massage more often to work on the knots. Duh! Lol! Who has time or money to get massages all the time?? After checking out the clerk at the counter did ask me to sign up to become members. Didn't pressure us. But I did feel obligated to listen. Needless to say we did not sign up. All in all..
