I had a great experience at Massage Eden. The receptionist was friendly and helpful, the establishment inviting and clean. And pricing is very reasonable. A friend recommend Lily for a massage and I'm glad she did! I was a walk in, so I was fortunate that she was available. Lily was skilled - she had a nice firm hand that worked out knots, but she also provided soothing strokes so that the tension could truly be relieved. The only mild issue I had was that I asked for a stone massage and only 15 minutes or so was with stones. BUT, the massage was that good that I didn't mind. Luckily, I don't live too far, so I will most definitely be back. read more

Massage Eden - Lobby - Massage Near Me - Chula Vista, California

I really wanted to give this place a 4 star. Lucy, the masseuse, was exceptional. She is what you want in a masseuse. She was kind, attentive, communicative and just overall excellent at ensuring you are comfortable. The location is quaint and the rooms are decent. But here is the reason for the 3 star: I purchased my massage through ClassPass. I opted for the First lady treatment which consisted of a deep tissue massage, salt scrub and free hot stones. When I first got there, I informed the receptionist that I had an appointment through ClassPass. Without asking, she grabbed my phone, took a picture of my screen then proceeded to call someone on her phone. I believe this may have been because of a language barrier. The gentleman on the phone confirmed I was there for the First Lady package and told me I'm all set. I then followed her to the room where she simply pointed to and walked away. That was fine. Lucy, then came in and created magic with her hands. The deep tissue massage was magnificent. The salt scrub was so glorious, I even got chills. Once she was done cleaning up the salt scrub, she said we were done. I politely reminded her that my appt came with the hot stones. She stepped outside, came back in and showed me her phone. It read: "colleague forgot to turn on the hot stones. Sorry" . Then, she said proceeded with offering me a hot towel instead. I declined the towel. As I was walking out, I was disappointed but I was still leaning toward the four star review because Lucy really did a good job despite missing the hot stones. However, when I approached the front desk, it was a different receptionist . A young lady with perfect English. She asked if I wanted to leave a tip. As I was getting my card ready to leave a well-deserved tip, I casually mentioned that my package came with the hot stones but that portion of the service was not provided. Her response was "I see..." She then charged my card for the tip and completely disregarded what I said. While my body feels relaxed, I left highly disappointed by how situation was handled. Mistakes happen, but acknowledging them and making an effort to address them, goes a long way. read more

Today was my first time visiting with my daughter, and unfortunately, our experience with the receptionist was not very welcoming. When we arrived, we were not greeted. I was simply asked if we had an appointment or were walking in. I explained that we had an appointment. I then asked if I could use the restroom, and the receptionist walked away without explaining where it was. She opened a door and then informed the massage staff that we had arrived, but we were not given any additional instructions. Since we had scheduled a back, neck, and shoulder massage, I was unsure whether we were supposed to change or remove our clothes. After searching for the restroom and returning, I had to ask the massage staff directly for clarification. They were very helpful, and I want to emphasize that the massage itself was great. We really enjoyed the service provided by the massage therapists. My main concern was with the communication at the front desk. When checking out, I was asked if I wanted to leave a tip. I explained that I still had an $89 balance because I had booked the appointments online for both myself and my daughter. I had planned to pay for one massage myself and have my daughter pay for hers separately. I was not aware that the card used to book the appointment would automatically be charged, and this was never explained to me. Overall, I feel the receptionist could have been more welcoming and provided clearer information about the check-in, changing process, and payment. Unfortunately, I left with a negative impression because of the interaction at the front desk, even though the actual massage experience was very good. read more

Editing my review! Previous was for a different location so sorry!! This one actually gets 4 stars as well. My friend gifted me a Groupon. I made the appt same day. Super pleasant and many options available. Super cute and so many different options. I had the 30 mins head and 30 mins body! I didn't know the head they wash your hair!! My hair felt sooo soft after! And smelled great. The head massage was very nice. The body massage was also good. Everyone was super friendly. I will say I wish they had some relaxing music. Besides that no complaints here and I'd def come back here read more

This place was amazing! I got the 70 hair scalp treatment and the lymphatic drainage (full body) massage with Sophia. It was very relaxing and felt amazing. I will be coming back! read more

I arrived on time for my appointment and was left waiting alone in the massage room for 30 minutes before staff had to search for a massage therapist. This is not the first time. The massage therapists themselves are fine, but the management and customer service are terrible. Repeated scheduling and communication issues show a lack of respect for customers' time. I will not be returning. Avoid the Bonita location. read more

I visited Massage Eden on Otay Lakes Rd. This establishment is very clean. The staff is very professional. My massage therapist did an amazing job and listened to all my concerns. I came in with a few knots and stiffness and left feeling relaxed and pain free. I highly recommend this location I rate this location 5 stars based on the cleanliness and amazing massage I received today. I will definitely visit this location again soon. On 9JAN25 at or around 1400, my girlfriend and I had come due to soreness in our backs and my shoulders as well. We didn't expect bunch but were blown away during our time there. The SERVICE. We had walked in and we were escorted to the back within the moment we stepped in. We had gotten the $75 monthly special. My masseuse was spot on with pressure and spots to massage. The tenderness and soreness was bareable pain that was catered to well. The AMBIANCE. The place was small over all but the rooms were cute and each room was named after a flower! There was plenty of parking. The only "Downfall" or "difficulty" is the language barrier. When we would discuss what we wanted and paying at the end and asking for more or less pressure. We all made it work and still had an amazing time. We will be back! Overall rating: 9 of 10. read more

Once again I was broken, and Yuki fixed me. Absolutely amazing! Will be back again soon! Thank you, Yuki!

We went to Telegraph Canyon location. This place honored our reservation times and was able to accommodate my friend and me. We arrived at 8:15pm, and they brought us in the back, doing an amazing job. Wendy and Grace have magic hands, and I recommend you come and see them. read more

Super relaxing with such a kind staff. These ladies are amazing and I would 10/10 recommend. I went with a group of my girlfriends and they took care of all of us. All the girls loved their massages and we feel extremely relaxed. I had Jessica, she was amazing and if you ever go, I definitely recommend asking for her! read more

I just got home after a fantastic 60-minute massage with Lucy. She is amazingly strong. I prefer a deep massage and she definitely provided one. It included a full body massage with hot stones and a hot towel on my back. She ended with a type of sports massage that helped flex and relax my legs, hips, and spine. I highly recommend booking a massage with Lucy. I will book my next one now. I plan to be one of her regular customers. Thanks, Lucy. See you soon! read more

Great massage! Massage was just as described. Will be back. We did the lymphatic massage and neck and back.

This place is a hit and miss. Today unfortunately was a miss. So much so that I'm writing my 2nd negative review ever. Went in for a 1 hr $75 head and neck massage, feel like I paid more for a fast paced back and forth on bone pressure rub. Which maybe a total of 20 mins were dedicated to the neck and shoulders. Communication during the massage was a challenge, as she didn't understand "no legs" when she started- I even confirmed with the guy at the front desk to ensure the masseuse understood I wanted head and neck. They did however (after she brought someone in to translate) give me 5 more minutes to take time to massage my neck while on my back. There is more im disappointed on but will end it with its my own fault for coming back. read more

I really enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere and how clean everything was during my visit. The location definitely has a calm, welcoming vibe, which made for a nice experience overall read more

I had two appointments booked through ClassPass, one at 5:00pm and another at 5:15pm, both confirmed days in advance. When I arrived, the receptionist told me they had a lot of walk-ins and that we would need to wait about an hour until a masseuse was available. When I asked why my confirmed appointments were given away, there was no clear explanation. I understand that walk-ins happen, but that should not come at the expense of customers who have scheduled and confirmed appointments in advance. It was frustrating and disappointing to have my time disregarded like that. After seeing the owner respond to this review, there was no way for me to respond back, which is why I am editing my response to answer the questions they had regarding my visit. The appointment I had was for the Otay Lakes Road on August 29th. read more

My husband and I went here for my birthday. I got the hair scalp and he got the back and shoulder massage. I was looking for the hair scalp since it looks great with the big massage chair. I'm pregnant so they move me to other room and bring it that big hair wash tube. They said the massage comes with it and I cannot lay face down so they do hair steam instead. I would prefer the hair steam more. The lady who do my hair is very nice, they wash my hair, put on conditioner and oil for hair steam. On top of that, they also come with foot and arm massage. Foot and arm massage is okay. Not the greatest. They tried their best to communicate by using the translation in their phone but I was confuse couple time on what I should do. My husband didn't enjoy his back and shoulder massage. They put too much oil for the massage and he left greasy. His shoulder was hurt from carrying stuff and he wanted to have a good massage. The only reason we choose this place is they have the hair scalp which I wanted to try. We probably not come back here. read more

I had an awesome experience!! Cindy is one of the best!! very professional and friendly. I would come back next time.

Decided to book a spur of the moment last minute massage and it was by far thee best massage I have ever had! I called to book an 830 PM appt. I showed up at 815 and they took me in right away. Angela was soooooo good! She worked out my years of kinks and knots! I did the 60 min deep tissue massage and let me tell you! It was definitely a full body massage and definitely worth it! I love that they are open pretty late because I work 10 hour shifts and I'm glad I was able to get in right away. It was much needed and I will definitely be adding this place on my monthly calender. Thank you guys so much, you guys are amazing! read more

I get the lymphatic 60 minute and it is the best. Exactly what I need after a stressful week of work and I'm able to sleep well especially when I get it in the evening. I work at a desk all day in a stressful job so my shoulder and neck area is often hurting / strained. All of the staff I've ever worked with have done an amazing job. I brought my best friend here for a couples lymphatic massage and she loved it too! Highly recommend. read more

Chloe was amazing!!! I will come back again. Got a good deal from groupon & did not have a problem using it.

Service: 60 min deep tissue massage Customer Service: Receptionist was cold and dismissive--like I was inconveniencing her. She didn't seem to know why I was there, despite the appointment. Her tone felt moody and unwelcoming. Massage: The masseuse was kind but it wasn't deep tissue. I asked for firm pressure twice, but most of it was forearms/elbows gliding over tension rather than releasing it. The rest was just light oil rubbing. No real technique to address knots or tightness. She also left the door ajar after the session, which felt inappropriate/exposing as I got up naked from the table to get dressed. Establishment: Not the nicest, but passable for the lower price point. Overall: Maybe just an off day, since I've heard better reviews. I'd consider giving it one more chance. But better customer service and clear service delivery would go a long way. I left disappointed...and still in pain. Recommendation: Happy Head is worth the extra money: nicer space, better service, and actual deep tissue massage. You get what you pay for. read more

This is the 3rd time I've gone online to make an appointment - once here and twice for the Telegraph canyon location, and 3rd time I've been asked to push back my appointment an hour or wait because other customers showed up late so the massage therapists are behind! I don't understand why late customers are just not required to end their session on time? Why are the successive customers inconvenienced by having to: move their appointments back, wait and made late to anything else they had planned for the day, or worse, have to cut out of their own massage appointments meaning they don't get the full time they're scheduled for but have to pay full price for it? Management is unorganized and doesn't have a backbone to penalize the late customers, just no shame to punish the one time ones! read more

Pros = good cupping massage Cons = masseuse does not speak English. = hair and scalp treatment massage wasn't that good. = they don't communicate what they will do next. = other staff interrupted the session, while some parts of my body was exposed. They open the door without knocking, they converse while the door is open like everyone who walks in hallway would see my exposed body. = while I was putting my clothes back on, one staff just opened the door without knocking. She closed it but left it a little bit open and looking at me every single 2 seconds to see if I'm done. I paid for a total of $250 for 1.5 hr cupping massage and 1 hr for hair & scalp treatment massage but I don't think it's worth it. I would not go back to this place again. read more

I went last Thursday with my friends, it was are first time trying scalpmessage unfortunately it was not as we expected not even how they advertised.. Horrible experience for the scalp message not worth it. We also booked foot reflexology and me and my friends we all got a very different message according to the advertisement... to top it off when we were outside leaving the place they came demanding tips and asking how much we left.. honestly I'm not coming back... tip should be given for a good service NOT demanding....that looks really bad..they can hardly speak English but for tips they can demanding very well. read more

Angela did a great job. Very relaxing. I love the array of services they offer and will be back to try others!

My daughter and I are well versed in massage therapy and have experienced many massages between us. This establishment is by far one of the best. My MT checked in frequently about my comfort and made subtle changes as needed. I had a swedish and my daughter had deep tissue and we both enjoyed the Hair Scalp treatment. So yummy!!! We agree that both our MTs were great and did a wonderful job for us. We will definitely be going back again. read more

Had the 90min lymphatic massage, it was my first time, and it was amazing!! I'm definitely coming back!

Staff is friendly. Yuki is great, satisfied with my massage. Would recommend and come back again!

I've been coming about once a month for the past few months and have been very happy with the massages. I alternate between the ancient sport massage and the stress relief massage. Great prices for great massages. Definitely recommend coming if you're looking for a good massage read more

Terrible service. I booked the 90 minute Hair scalp treatment + massage + blow out for my moms anniversary and she had a really stressful experience. The machine to wash hair broke and she said they spent most of the time trying to fix it and there were a lot of people in the room. In the end they had to move the machine out the room and she noted her back was all wet. She also brought her own hair products and they used almost all her shampoo and conditioner. Her blow dry experience was painful as they kept pulling her hair and the massage was very quick and not a full body 60 min massage as stated online. When I asked for a discount at the front desk the receptionist was very unreceptive and said no matter what she would charge us full price. She only offered an Starbucks gift card and kept repeating the same thing. Instead of giving my mom a relaxing time they stressed her out and left her hair a mess so that now she's having to go get a blow out. I was really disappointed she wasn't able to enjoy her experience as I had planned and the fact i still had to pay full price is unreal. read more

I dont know where to start but everything you've read from others is dead on the money. First, I made appointments online 7 days in advance for my mother and I. Well they didn't have anything or maybe weren't expecting me. Not a single person spoke any English, like at all. It took 20 minutes to check us in and another 10 to ready the room. After several phone calls and Google translate, we thought we had it. It was very hot in there on an extra warm day but no AC. We wanted the scalp wash and massages but they didn't understand that. I had this done elsewhere and it was divine. After more google translate we got it. Let's just say the set up wasn't the same. It was sort of rigged together and so confusing. Massage was not professional, there was clearly no formal training and it actually kinda hurt. My mom said hers was weak and weird because it was a new person being coached. The rooms are seedy, kind of dirty, unkempt, not classy in design.... There was a poster about what you cannot ask for... you can guess what it said. So I assume the poor girls get asked a lot. I saw the people who stated they were pressured to tip and I didn't want to deal with that. I had planned to tip anyways because the girls tried really hard to make the visit pleasant. I was a bit irritated when I saw them pass their tip to someone else. While it was a scalp massage session, she still did shoulders, back, hands, arms and feet. We were there an hour and a half and the only people there. Once done, there was no blow out, she pulled out a blow dryer and handed it to me. I opted to just put my hair up. read more
