Super pleasant and many options available. Super cute and so many different options. I had the 30 mins head and 30 mins body! I didn't know the head they wash your hair!! On 9JAN25 at or around 1400, my girlfriend and I had come due to soreness in our backs and my shoulders as well. We didn't expect bunch but were blown away during our time there. The SERVICE. We had walked in and we were escorted to the back within the moment we stepped in. We had gotten the $75 monthly special. My masseuse was spot on with pressure and spots to massage. The tenderness and soreness was bareable pain that was catered to well. The AMBIANCE. The place was small over all but the rooms were cute and each room was named after a flower! There was plenty of parking. The only "Downfall" or "difficulty" is the language barrier. When we would discuss what we wanted and paying at the end and asking for more or less pressure. I just got home after a fantastic 60-minute massage with Lucy. She is amazingly strong. I prefer a deep massage and she definitely provided one. It included a full body massage with hot stones and a hot towel on my back. She ended with a type of sports massage that helped flex and relax my legs, hips, and spine. This place is a hit and miss. Today unfortunately was a miss. So much so that I'm writing my 2nd negative review ever. Went in for a 1 hr $75 head and neck massage, feel like I paid more for a fast paced back and forth on bone pressure rub. Which maybe a total of 20 mins were dedicated to the neck and shoulders. Communication during the massage was a challenge, as she didn't understand "no legs" when she started- I even confirmed with the guy at the front desk to ensure the masseuse understood I wanted head and neck. They did however (after she brought someone in to translate) give me 5 more minutes to take time to massage my neck while on my back. I had two appointments booked through ClassPass, one at 5:00pm and another at 5:15pm, both confirmed days in advance. When I arrived, the receptionist told me they had a lot of walk-ins and that we would need to wait about an hour until a masseuse was available. When I asked why my confirmed appointments were given away, there was no clear explanation. I understand that walk-ins happen, but that should not come at the expense of customers who have scheduled and confirmed appointments in advance. It was frustrating and disappointing to have my time disregarded like that. After seeing the owner respond to this review, there was no way for me to respond back, which is why I am editing my response to answer the questions they had regarding my visit. Decided to book a spur of the moment last minute massage and it was by far thee best massage I have ever had! I called to book an 830 PM appt. I showed up at 815 and they took me in right away. Angela was soooooo good! She worked out my years of kinks and knots! I did the 60 min deep tissue massage and let me tell you! It was definitely a full body massage and definitely worth it! My husband and I went here for my birthday. I got the hair scalp and he got the back and shoulder massage. I was looking for the hair scalp since it looks great with the big massage chair. I'm pregnant so they move me to other room and bring it that big hair wash tube. They said the massage comes with it and I cannot lay face down so they do hair steam instead. I would prefer the hair steam more. The lady who do my hair is very nice, they wash my hair, put on conditioner and oil for hair steam. On top of that, they also come with foot and arm massage. Foot and arm massage is okay. Not the greatest. They tried their best to communicate by using the translation in their phone but I was confuse couple time on what I should do. My husband didn't enjoy his back and shoulder massage. They put too much oil for the massage and he left greasy. His shoulder was hurt from carrying stuff and he wanted to have a good massage. Service: 60 min deep tissue massage Customer Service: Receptionist was cold and dismissive--like I was inconveniencing her. She didn't seem to know why I was there, despite the appointment. Her tone felt moody and unwelcoming. Massage: The masseuse was kind but it wasn't deep tissue. I asked for firm pressure twice, but most of it was forearms/elbows gliding over tension rather than releasing it. The rest was just light oil rubbing. No real technique to address knots or tightness. She also left the door ajar after the session, which felt inappropriate/exposing as I got up naked from the table to get dressed. Establishment: Not the nicest, but passable for the lower price point. Overall: Maybe just an off day, since I've heard better reviews. I'd consider giving it one more chance. But better customer service and clear service delivery would go a long way. I left disappointed...and still in pain. Recommendation: Happy Head is worth the extra money: nicer space, better service, and actual deep tissue massage. You get what you pay for. read more

This is the 3rd time I've gone online to make an appointment - once here and twice for the Telegraph canyon location, and 3rd time I've been asked to push back my appointment an hour or wait because other customers showed up late so the massage therapists are behind! I don't understand why late customers are just not required to end their session on time? Why are the successive customers inconvenienced by having to: move their appointments back, wait and made late to anything else they had planned for the day, or worse, have to cut out of their own massage appointments meaning they don't get the full time they're scheduled for but have to pay full price for it? Management is unorganized and doesn't have a backbone to penalize the late customers, just no shame to punish the one time ones! read more

They open the door without knocking, they converse while the door is open like everyone who walks in hallway would see my exposed body. = while I was putting my clothes back on, one staff just opened the door without knocking. She closed it but left it a little bit open and looking at me every single 2 seconds to see if I'm done. I went last Thursday with my friends, it was are first time trying scalpmessage unfortunately it was not as we expected not even how they advertised.. Horrible experience for the scalp message not worth it. We also booked foot reflexology and me and my friends we all got a very different message according to the advertisement... to top it off when we were outside leaving the place they came demanding tips and asking how much we left.. honestly I'm not coming back... tip should be given for a good service NOT demanding....that looks really bad..they can hardly speak English but for tips they can demanding very well. read more

Terrible service. I booked the 90 minute Hair scalp treatment + massage + blow out for my moms anniversary and she had a really stressful experience. The machine to wash hair broke and she said they spent most of the time trying to fix it and there were a lot of people in the room. In the end they had to move the machine out the room and she noted her back was all wet. She also brought her own hair products and they used almost all her shampoo and conditioner. Her blow dry experience was painful as they kept pulling her hair and the massage was very quick and not a full body 60 min massage as stated online. When I asked for a discount at the front desk the receptionist was very unreceptive and said no matter what she would charge us full price. She only offered an Starbucks gift card and kept repeating the same thing. Instead of giving my mom a relaxing time they stressed her out and left her hair a mess so that now she's having to go get a blow out. I was really disappointed she wasn't able to enjoy her experience as I had planned and the fact i still had to pay full price is unreal. read more

I dont know where to start but everything you've read from others is dead on the money. First, I made appointments online 7 days in advance for my mother and I. Well they didn't have anything or maybe weren't expecting me. Not a single person spoke any English, like at all. It took 20 minutes to check us in and another 10 to ready the room. After several phone calls and Google translate, we thought we had it. It was very hot in there on an extra warm day but no AC. We wanted the scalp wash and massages but they didn't understand that. I had this done elsewhere and it was divine. After more google translate we got it. Let's just say the set up wasn't the same. It was sort of rigged together and so confusing. Massage was not professional, there was clearly no formal training and it actually kinda hurt. My mom said hers was weak and weird because it was a new person being coached. The rooms are seedy, kind of dirty, unkempt, not classy in design.... There was a poster about what you cannot ask for... you can guess what it said. So I assume the poor girls get asked a lot. I saw the people who stated they were pressured to tip and I didn't want to deal with that. I had planned to tip anyways because the girls tried really hard to make the visit pleasant. I was a bit irritated when I saw them pass their tip to someone else. While it was a scalp massage session, she still did shoulders, back, hands, arms and feet.
