So they're in the same shopping center but now they're upstairs just above the Mission Federal Credit Union. The office is a little smaller and they no longer have the little tranquility waiting rooms, which is a bummer. I've used a few different therapists and all great. My new favorite is Elizabeth. She's newer to Massage Envy, but has a lot of experience in massage therapy. She's awesome. Really pays attention to target areas. Nice strong pressure. I'm looking forward to continue having a membership at this new location.

I waited to write this review in hope that things would change for the better…read more Location: 6/10 centrally located but parking can be a nightmare Front desk: 8/10 usually very pleasant, local manager is helpful Massage therapists: 2/10 every now and again they have good ones but it's a revolving door for them and they end up leaving. Wanapa and Rikki were amazing but both gone. Rocio who is there currently is very good but reliability is poor. Multiple appointments have been cancelled last minute so it seems like employee reliability and them not have back up therapists to cover callouts in definitely a negative. And though they like us to confirm our appointments 48 hours in advance they have cancelled on me 3 hours before an appointment. We are penalized for late cancellations so it only seems fair that they are as well, maybe a free add on or whatever each time our appt cancels. I'm sad that this location is going down the tubes but I see why they only have 2.8 stars whereas the Lemon Grove location has 4.5 stars. I will be taking my business and referrals elsewhere and trying the Lemon Grove location as I can't count on the Eastlake location for appointments.

The guy massaged my body over sheet first then eventually had hands on. He did my neck all the way down to my legs. I don't think he managed my head, temples, or feet. When I flipped over, I'm used to a towel being placed over my eyes. This place is only open during the day time and they didn't have black out curtains, so it was a little brighter than usual in the room. Calming music playing but it was very low. The acupuncture- I wasn't quite sure what I could inquire about. Was hoping for a list but he just asked what my main concerns were and then told me to lay down on the table. Luckily I wore a dress and sandals. So I didn't have to remove anything except the sandals as the places he placed the needles were already exposed. I was too scared to look at the needles. Kept my eyes closed the entire time. Just felt a slight pinch when he placed the needles. They felt very small/thin. The only place I really felt any discomfort pain was my left foot/shin. I told him that at the end and he said I may feel sore for a day but the pain disappeared within hours. I felt so calm relaxed with the acupuncture. Definitely want to come back for that. Maybe not the massage tho.

I don't usually leave reviews or feedback for this location, as I've been coming here for many years and have generally been very satisfied with my experiences. Unfortunately, tonight's massage did not meet my expectations. My masseuse was William, and while I don't like leaving negative reviews, I did not enjoy the service. To begin with, the massage started with the blanket left over me longer than usual. The work on my back was okay at first, but as the session continued, it felt like there was little to no technique involved. Overall, it seemed more like rubbing than an actual massage. I've had many massages throughout my life, and I can tell the difference between a therapist who is experienced and one who is not. My back and shoulders were not massaged with proper technique, and there was very little attention given to my feet, arms, forearms, and hands. I was really looking forward to a full-body massage, and unfortunately, that's not what I received. After the appointment, I spoke with the front desk associate, Kennedy, who advised me to leave feedback. There was no offer to reschedule or provide any form of resolution at the time. I would like to know if there is any possibility of a refund or a complimentary massage. Thank you for your time.
