I am still in their care and yesterday's wonderful pre-session massage from John and quick yet effective adjustment from Dr C had, to my surprise not only contributed to my shoulder, neck and lower back pain being gone but also cleared my sinuses (!!) and caused my body to get in a deep relaxed mode. I never thought how healing these chiropractic sessions were until I researched and educated myself on the benefits of chiropractic care under a very effective and intuitive chiropractor. So I sneezed and threw something in my neck and shoulder out and was in pain for 4 days thinking it would just go back on its own.... and it DID NOT! To Google & Yelp I went and found American Chiropractic by the freeway and mall and only 8 miles from me. In desperation I called right before they closed and got an appointment for the next morning! The office was easy to get to and parking was off the street. The staff was nice & friendly. I was greeted as soon as I arrived, quickly checked-in & paperwork completed. I was seen timely and felt the doctor was friendly and concerned, I didn't feel rushed or treated generically. He listened to how I was feeling and then the treatment was wonderfully effective. I wanted a chiropracticor who was not a strip-mall type but a family friendly practice that I can depend on for long-term care and that's the exact feeling I got from American Chiropractic. The massage and adjustments are fine and most of the staff if friendly, but there is one lady in the office who is just horrible. I didn't catch her name, but she clearly doesn't understand that she works in a service industry. The girls up front are always so friendly and efficient. I've seen 2 different doctors in this office and they both are outstanding. I went in on my last visit in severe pain the girls got me right back in the room with the heat pads and when I was done the doctor took me right in and spent a lot of time loosening me up before my adjustments. I have never been left waiting in this office like other places that may overbook. When I first started coming I was covered under my insurance. My new insurance does not cover chiropractic services and no price gouging here! They are extremely reasonable. Parking is so easy as well, right behind the office. They also offer massage services. I wish I would have had an opportunity to meet the Dr. but Alma the front desk lady upon answering the phone was very cold & short. She lacks the friendly demeanor that's welcoming and inviting for new patients. With her as the first impression means less business for the Dr. / company. I'm sure many people have turned down the opportunity for care here because of her. Once I got to the office, she was not helpful with providing insurance knowledge. It's almost as of she was upset for asking her to do her job. She was shame talking a patient who had emailed her, so mindlessly & loud that I got to hear it. Huge HIPAA violation. I should report her. Absolutely disrespectful to the healthcare field & patients in the lobby having to hear that. Very unprofessional of Alma. Shame on her. I later called to speak to the manager to kindly let them know of my experience, but I was told there is no manager and that I would have to speak to the Dr, but that he wasn't available. read more

They cracked my neck and back and pulled on one of my legs once and they said I was done.The adjustment was less than 5min. If the chiropractor would not have initiated small talk I would of been out of there in under 5min. I have been attending this place for many years and it had been a while since my last visit but I am at a loss of words on how meaningless this appointment felt.
