Dr. Drew helped my mom with her back pain.... My mom had heart valve replacement surgery and up on her recovery she begin experiencing pain in her lower back and down one leg, so much so that it prevented her from walking. Her Doctor prescribed anti-inflammatory's and pain masking medication. It did not work, so she requested a Cortisone shot, which didn't work, them she had acupuncture done, but that didn't work. Finally I brought in to See Dr. Drew and even after the first visit she was feeling much better and later she was walking again. Please do your homework and be careful in choosing a chiropractor before you commit to him. Not all these guys are what they claim to be ! Two friends and I went to this guy and he did nothing for me. It's was after we were hit from the rear in a car accident 70 mph hit. Anyway he never x rayed us or used any heat or massage therapy before the adjustment he performed on us. Further more he referred us to a crappy attorney named Steven Weitzen that we could never get a hold of. Then on top of it all the Atty accepted a lousy offer made by the insurance company without verifying with us. Also this Dr Koeler was going to charge $ 180. per visit until we challenged his rate, then he came down to $ 75. per visit. My back never got better and that doctor left me with a neck that constantly gives me pain. Do your homework please, and find a doctor who can really help you. Very accommodating office. Easy to access and to book appointments. Never had chiropractric care before, and wanted to give it a try since my health insurance covers it. The front staff is very friendly and courteous. Dr Kohler is an interesting, animated individual. I only had 2 treatments with him, each of them about 10-15mn at the most. I did not return as I was a little scared after the last appointment. My understanding is that Dr Kohler has a lot of experience in this field, and his approach on chiropractic care is the same as he did when he started 30yrs ago, at least that is what I got and understood from his response. My only concern with his response was is he following current evidence-based practice on the care he renders? and does he read any current journals on any current research findings on chiropractic care? This is important for many patients, as we want to get the care that the field of science supports and finds the most helpful and efficient technique on treating certain areas of the body with chiropractic care. I was hoping to get some direct manipulation, and/or tissue release, but I was getting mostly some back adjustment. The treatment is rough, mainly "cracking my back", and one of the tools he used on my arms/shoulders (like a power tool hammer) caused more pain. For my case, I don't believe the chiropractic care helped, and I am rating them based on their accommodating way, friendliness, and courteous service. They have parking in the back, in case the street parking is full. Accepts insurance, with a very reasonable co-pay. They take cash, debit and credit cards. read more

I was referred to this place by my lawyer. I got in a car accident so I was in need of some adjustments and deep tissue massages. This is a small place located in the residential area of downtown chula vista. The staff was real friendly and the Dr's were great. I love it in there. If you ever go to this office ask for Dora, shes the best masseuse!!!! They recently opened up their new office in Eastlake and WOW is this new office mighty spiffy! the DR's and masseuses are the same but their schedules just vary depending on which office theyre at on certain days. This place has awards for being the best chiro in San Diego, so give it a try. They always have specials for holidays on all services. The best part about this place is the massaging chairs you sit in before the doctor calls you in the office. It doesnt just massage your whole back and neck it does your legs tooo!!!!!!! Very poor ethics, it was all about making more money than providing treatment. Our family was involved in a vehicle accident last month, we required immediate treatment for injuries , We were unable to obtain insurance info of other party due to awaiting release of police report (8) days. We researched and found that our own insurance was accepted by Dr. Salts office. I initially explained our situation and informed staff that i will be using my own insurance to expedite treatment. I received x3 treatments and thought all was well, (not) I then received a call informing me of future cancellations to my treatments . I called them back to ask why and was told that "there was a misunderstanding " and that they were not aware I was using my own insurance and not the other party which is the usual practice. I was not asked to clarify my choice of continued treatment, or wether I would pay out of pocket for massages. Anyways, this recently happened and I am not returning to this office. I was clearly just another crash victim($$$$). read more
