Where do I start? I was referred by someone on Facebook (community page) who spoke very highly about the Doctor. She gave me a run down on all services and products offered by the office which sounded great. Her comment was liked by over 8 people who said they have been treated by this Doctor so naturally I was super excited. Well I didn't even get the chance to even schedule due to how rude the woman on the phone was. She seemed annoyed at all my questions and told me to look at the website for answers. Isn't that her job? I let it slide and continued to ask about insurance coverage. I have BCBS and was told they accept federal employee coverage. I attempted to give her my info to see what my copay would be and she demanded I text her a photo of the front and back of my card. I asked if she can just write it down as I was about to head back to work but her response was a rude "No", text the number you called. I responded with "Well can you get me scheduled in the meantime, I'd like to get in tomorrow if possible." and again was told "No, we need to check your benefits and it can take up to 24 hrs to get back to you." By this time I grew annoyed and asked to speak to a manager or supervisor. When I asked for her name she told me to hold. To make things worse she didn't place me on hold correctly. This woman left me on the line and started to bad mouth me with someone else in the office at how rude and demanding I was and probably wasn't even married with my attitude. She then began to say how I asked for a manager for no reason and was screaming at her (completely false) to be scheduled. She started laughing and then I heard a "here you talk to her," then heard a loud "FUCK" and then I was hung up on. I can't even begin to describe how insulted I feel. This was the worst feeling ever. To even think that I was excited to come to this office and bring my husband and boys. I don't expect a call back even though she has my name and phone # but do hope someone speaks to her about proper customer service. Asking to be scheduled is not demanding. Asking to get my co-pay amount is not demanding, it's part of being in the medical field. I have never called an office and have been told I would be called back for scheduling after I "text" a copy of my ins card. read more

The office staff is great and Dr. Baar definitely is attentive to our injuries and care throughout our treatment/therapy for our family. He answers all our questions and concerns. I came here after a traffic collision (Not at fault) and I have not regretted it. The staff are friendly, the hours of operation are better than most chiropractors, and Dr. BAAR is awesome. Dr. Baar is fantastic! After seeing a lengthy list of doctors & taking a ton of prescribed pain killers to treat the extreme back pain I was in over several weeks, nothing helped. As soon as I walked into see Dr. Baar he was instantaneously able to diagnose the cause of the pain. After only a couple treatments, the pain I had almost completely went away. It was a miracle. I had never gone to a chiropractor before & was really nervous. Dr. Baar was very patient, walked me through each of the steps he was going to take, answered all the questions I had, & didn't proceed forward until I felt comfortable. Dr.Baar is by-far the best chiropractor in San Diego/Chula Vista, and I've been to several. He actually takes his time and explains everything that he's going to do. Have seen Dr Baar for two sessions thus far due to Paresthsias in my neck, right trapezius, and right arm. Dr Baar has experience and training in 'active release therapy' and has brought some pain relief to me in the treatment of the nerve pain/discomfort. I contacted the office to schedule an initial appointment. I provided the office staff with my insurance information (via text which was weird) and waited 2 days before calling back to check on the status. I was told they didn't receive my insurance info so I again provided pictures of my insurance card via text to Yasmine. She confirmed receipt and I again waited. I called the office after a week to again check the status. They initially claimed they hadn't receive my insurance info but I reminded them Yasmine confirmed. They then claimed they were waiting for a call back from my insurance to confirm coverage and said they would check again. In the meantime, I called my insurance and got the information needed. I received a call back that they suddenly got the information and when I told them I got the information in 5 minutes, the person on the phone said, "Congrats" and then tried to schedule me for an appointment. I declined due to her sarcastic comment. I was referred to Dr. Baar by a friend who said he is amazing but unfortunately, due to his unprofessional office staff, I will not be seeing him. It's a shame because I have unlimited visits and was planning to see him about once a week. read more

I was referred to Dr. Barr by my attorney because I was in an accident. Dr. Barr is fantastic! He's very sweet & kind. He also makes every visit as if you guys have known each other for years. Expect to chit chat w/him, unlike other doctors he's not the type to just exam you & not talk. Dr. Barr will definitely make you comfortable! I used to be so afraid to get cracked/adjusted, he has definitely helped me get over that fear & now I completely enjoy it!
