I had a wonderful experience. Peter was may massage therapist, and he did a wonderful job. I booked the deep tissue one hour massage at 10 am. I presented at 945. Check in and waivers were a breeze. We got right to it. Peter checked in with me at appropriate times to make sure the pressure was ok. I think next time I will go with the essential oils. I skipped it this time but I did not miss it. They use an unscented massage oil that does not leave a residue or clog pores. By the time I was done I was very relaxed and enjoyed the rest of my day. I have two more massages booked . read more

Massage Crystal, Laurel is a very clean and cozy place. Fabulous experience!!!! Mother's Day gift from my daughter and recommend by her based on reviews. When I walked in, the host asked me how I like the pressure of massage and which area to focused. Luna is a very skillful masseuse. She's very nice and made sure I was very comfortable throughout the whole massage. ...After I left the place, I feel really relaxed. It's only 10 minutes away from my house and definitely come back. read more

I was a walk-in. Everyone was nice & professional. The place was very clean & there's 0lenty of parking. I will be back.

First time visiting. Did a couples massage with my husband. The massage and stretching was incredible. I can't wait to go back.

I wanted to be able to say my last review was a fluke! Nope!! Just as great as the first time! Please, if for nothing other than affordability, please make an appointment! That's all it will take!! We have to keep them around!! Well trained, no frills, great prices! And selfishly I didn't want to give up the name of my favorite, but that would be unfair!! Cindy not only hit every knot and stress part of my body I knew, but also ones I didn't! .. if I wasn't such a mushmellow I would be able to say it much more succinctly ‍. They're great!! read more

Went to Massage Crystal with my girlfriend for a couple's massage. They are very thorough in asking how deep you want the massage. The environment is so relaxing and everything is cleaned prior to your massage. The masseuses were amazing and I left out feeling refreshed. Please please please get your massage at Massage Crystal. read more

Limp noodle!! I must say that on my birthday, 9/14/2024, my fiance' brought me here and gifted me an hour hot stone and aromatherapy massage and GIRRRRLLLLLLLLLLLLL it was the best darn massage!! First the ambience was straight-forward, clean, nice decor, comfortable. Unfortunately, I misplaced the business card of the massage therapist but she was a short Chinese woman but she put the "M" in massage! She did not disappoint. I was quite amazed how strong she was in comparison to her size. My fiance' and I will be going back for a couples massage. The only reason I couldn't give it 5-stars is because of the overpowering air deodorizer, it was far too floral and far too strong and obnoxious. I couldn't even smell the lavender aromatherapy. Kudos otherwise! read more

Even though I've been to Massage Crystal a couple of times, I'm going to write this update as if it were my first time at Massage Crystal. One of the first things you notice is that, despite the location (just off Route 3), there is a sense of calm and serenity when you enter. The atmosphere is highly conducive to relaxation. Everything is clean - the entry way, the waiting and register area, the restrooms, and of course, the massage rooms. Once in the massage room, you'll notice that the lights are dimmable (which is always a plus, whether face down or face up). There's also usually a robe (guessing in case you need a rest-room break during the massage) hanging nearby and a rose on the massage table. Once you are on the table, you'll notice the tables are heated (at least in winter), and comfortable. It may not be 4 inches of memory foam that you sink into, but the table top is much softer than many other spas. The sheet they provide you with is more than adequate for covering the body. As for my specific massage, after working with the register to make sure they knew what I was looking for in terms of pressure and time, they paired me with Sunny. Her massage was fantastic, as was she - friendly but without crossing the therapist/client relationship. I felt as if I'd wanted to chat with her during the massage, I could have, and it would have felt natural. All in all, it was a wonderful experience, and I believe I've found my new massage location and therapist. If you are looking for a massage in the area, definitely check out Massage Crystal. I see why they have all the fantastic reviews that they do. read more

I've only ever gone here for a foot massage and I've enjoyed them all. They are clean and efficient. Cash is encouraged, but they do take cards. read more

Walked in for first time early Saturday afternoon. Young Asian girl never even looked up at me from behind counter. She said you don't have appointment? Our brief conversation went downhill from there. I told he she was being arrogant and I left. Never stepping foot inside that place again. read more

Wonderful experience. Clean. No long wait. Water available. Everyone was very pleasant, helpful, and efficient. Prices very reasonable. Quite the fresh air after dealing with Massage Envy for over 10 years. I got a massage literally 2 days prior to going to Massage Crystal, and it was definitely 2 different experiences. Massage Crystal = me walking out straight and pain free. The other massage place 2 days prior didnt provide a massage - it was a joke leaving me feeling like I'd flushed $80 down the toilet, wasted my time, and gas. I will definitely return to Massage Crystal! read more

Just had. 60 minutes massage and oh my!!! Probably the best massage I've had EVER! Great atmosphere and very pleasant massage therapist. You will not go wrong here read more

Decided I would have a mental health day .... You won't be disappointed read more

I have muscles relaxed that I didn't even know I had! Recently had a back injury and figured a deep tissue massage would help. Well, it did!! This isn't my first time here. The very first time, I was so relaxed afterward that I had to sit in my vehicle for about 10 minutes to get myself together enough to drive! The place is very relaxing. The rooms are nice. The music is soft and enjoyable. The hot stone and essential or medicinal oil is so with it. I have never felt something so good in my life! I will always get the hot stones! read more

Soo this place is it! I try and go every 2 weeks or so. The customer service is awesome. I usually can get or squeeze in a last minute appt. However, i am not sure if that's what they recommend. They have several massage rooms, even the option for couples massages. The menu is rast offering hot stone and scrubs to add on to your service. The prices are very affordable. There roughly $50 or so for an hour massage. Each time i have gone i have had a different masseuse. Eventually I'll figure out who the best is and have a go to. The lobby and massage rooms aren't that aesthetically pleasing however, that doesn't take away from the massage. I will certainly be back and highly recommend any one who is in the bowie or Crofton area to give them a try. They also have have the option for 30 min massages or just spot treatment rather then the full body experience. read more

DONT COME HERE ! THE MANAGER IS A DOUCH BAG !!! I was a few minutes late and I called and spoke to him and he said I would be taken care of . once I arrive I was told by the young lady that was doing the facial that i only had 20 mins left and the once I spoke to the manger , he told me I CAN GET WHAT I CAN GET !! I have never experience a MANAGER express his self that way . That managers name was JOHN , he definitely shouldn't be in the front desk expressing his self that way to people read more

Simply fantastic... Have been here at least 5 times and every-time is an absolute home run ... The staff is very knowledgeable and can adjust massage types The therapists are so amazing, able to cater to a wide range of pressure. The facility is clean. I have often called for a same day appointment and they can usually accommodate. Rates are nice. Try the hot stone, it's about $10 extra but it is really great. read more

My experience at Massage Crystal was disappointing. The female manager has such a phony demeanor disposition. She and her male colleague stealing customers money for below standards for massage service. The massage rooms are not inviting at all. They have a peculiar odor with absolutely no ambiance at all. The sheets on the beds are dingy. I will never step foot in there. I will spend my money elsewhere. There low prices are not worth a penny of your money . read more

Very affordable, masseuse was skilled and applied good pressure. Finished with a hot towel which was lovely. Left feeling like I was levitating. Definitely will return. Rooms were clean and comfortable. read more

My fiancé called on Monday to see if they offered couples massages. They say they did, and to my surprise me that were able to get us an appt that sat. When we arrived..we were immediately greeted. The front desk lady asked if we would like to add hot stones and essential oils. We were then escorted to our room. I asked the lady if she could make the room warmer..she was able to with no problem..i appreciated this being as though I'm always cold. Our masseuses came in. Both us had a great experience with the massage. The stones were a little to hot to my liking..and i have a high tolerance for heat. Other than that everything was really nice! Highly recommend!! I also like they have a loyalty to card if you pay cash for 10 visits you get a free visit. read more

Massage Crystal - They placed a rose on each bed. I like that gesture - Massage Near Me - Crofton, Maryland

Beautiful, very clean, no frills. Plenty of parking. Easy scheduling and quick sign in at reception. My massage therapist was absolutely amazing. She paid a lot of attention to the areas I had identified as problematic. I would definitely recommend getting the add on essential oil/medicated oil + hot stones for $15- it is heavenly!! As a first timer, I got more than I expected out of my massage session and will definitely be back. read more

I initially planned a couples massage but my wife got sick so I took my son instead. After we were done we shared our experience. Both were the same. GREAT!! My son is a college student -athlete who plays football. He has been working out since he's been home for the break and was really tight. he told me that the masseuse really helped to bring out the sore in his muscles and cracked his back. He is coming back in the summer and will make this a part of his conditioning and training. My masseuse " Cindy, I believe" gave me a deep tissue massage. I do not think my wife would have enjoyed the same level of intensity that I had so everyone should let the masseuse know your tolerance level for deep tissue massages. As for me it was perfect. I also added the hot oil so I strongly recommend it. read more

Massage Crystal - Waiting room/entrance - Massage Near Me - Crofton, Maryland

I received a GC from a friend on Christmas to Massage Crystal. I finally had a chance to schedule a massage a couple of weeks ago. My experience was amazing!! Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The ambiance was so relaxing and soothing. Room was very clean and they seem to be following all of the Covid guidelines. My masseuse was on point. I left there feeling so relaxed so much so that I plan to go back and make this a ritual. I would highly recommend this place for your one-time or routine massage. read more

Excellent! I received a 90 minute Massage with Cupping. Awesome Therapeutic Massage. Highly Recommend. Clean, Safe, Professional Services.

90 minute massage with YOYO/ moderate pressure=$80 + 60 tip Not having my hip or shoulder bothering me=priceless TiP- Don't be shy. Drink a glass of wine, get naked and let the massage therapist rub you down. Let her rub your booty *rolls eyes*. The booty actually is the bottom of your spine and back of your pelvis. Massaging this area improves hips, posture etc. Let them do it. First, let me say that this was the best massage of my life and before it was over, I spent the last 30 minutes trying to figure out how big of a tip to leave her. A car was too much amirigh? Second of all, this is Asian massage which includes other style of massage beyond what is the norm here in the states. Its not swedish or deep tissue. It gets all into your nitty gritty areas and breaks up the crap in your body that causes soreness, aches and pains. YOYO literally stretched my arms and legs around and cracked my back. She massaged almost every inch of my body including my knees, ankles, wrists, armpits. I drank alcohol the night before and had swelling in my toes and fingers. Half way through I realized it was completely gone. She does what is needed. While there is a language barrier, YOYo follows your body and sees how it responds. I have areas on my right side hip, shoulder and neck that are messed up and she hit every single one and went over them again and again until she'd broken down the hardened areas. Areas where I carry my stress (and subsequently why I hey massages regularly) she nailed it. For $80 to 100 dollars you get an all inclusive massage that includes a full body work out, stone massage and stretching. She also wipes down your entire body afterwards with hot towels before sending you on your way. read more

I had a divine experience with David, he listens to pressure points. He gave me a wonderful, peaceful, and intentional massage. I will indeed be back once a month!! read more

I received a great massage here today. I combined the foot massage and body massage which was only $45 for an hour. The place is decorated nicely with calming music. There was a bit of chatter outside of my massage room since there is only a curtain that separates you from the hallway. The massage therapist stopped briefly during my massage to deal with another client, but she gave me some additional time to make up for it. She even added hot stones to loosen up my tight muscles. I was so relaxed afterwards. Overall, the place is decent. It's not a spa atmosphere, but it gets the job done at a reasonable price. read more

This was a weird experience. My masseuse literally got on the table to massage me. Both of us were on the table for half the massage. I've never been slapped so many times in my life. It was like I was getting massaged by E. Honda from Street Fighter. The sheet they draped over me was too small so most of my body was exposed the whole time. It was freezing! When I turned over, on my back, she grabbed my orbital bone like a bowling ball. I spent most of the massage bracing to be punched again, and the hits never stopped. At the end, she lifted both of my legs and dropped them on the table. I guess that was the signal that we were done. I paid to get beat up...and was asked about a tip. Now I need a massage for all this muscle pain I just bought. read more

My partner and I regularly get 90 minute couple's massages here and they are absolutely amazing. They seem knowledgeable of how to give a good massage without causing unnecessary pain, deep tissue is actually deep tissue, and the atmosphere is clean, hygienic, and professional. Everything. I've never had a bad massage here. The remodel a couple years ago is great.

Definitely the worst massage I've ever had. Came here for a relaxing couples massage and we got beat up and slapped for an hour. They asked at the beginning what kind of pressure we wanted and my husband and I both said light/medium. Apparently no one got that memo, because it was rough from the start. The masseuse put her full body weight on me right away. It also took a very long time before any oils were used --so long that I began to wonder if they planned to use any at all. Once the oils came out, the pounding didn't stop. It was not relaxing at all. I spent the entire hour tensed up because I was never sure what type of pain was coming next. Kneading, digging, slapping, punching, repeat. Oh, and your underwear means nothing. They'll give you a wedgie & massage your butt with full pressure. Horrible. I had to stifle laughter at one point because what was happening was so ridiculous I couldn't believe it. I could hear my husband getting beat up too. I asked my masseuse at one point if she could go softer because it was getting unbearable. She thanked me for letting her know and backed off for a few minutes. Soon, she was right back at it. The other unexpected thing was that the masseuse actually got on the table with me. It was weird and added to the pain because she could really press down hard from that position. I was asked if I wanted hot stones and I said no because based on the way things had been going, I was afraid they'd be too hot! After reading other reviews, I see that was a good call. I'm sitting at home now and can't lay on my back because it's too sore. My husband is sitting next to me with a heating pad on his back trying to recover. Do yourself a favor and skip this place. read more

Great massage with no frills. Pressure was just right and she focused on the areas that I requested, neck and hips.

Massage Crystal - Massage Near Me - Crofton, Maryland

HOW TO HAVE A GOOD EXPERIENCE HERE: 1. Make an appointment - with either Vincent or Kelly. Read all the other reviews as to why - they are good. They seem to do a good job of accommodating walk-ins but you won't know who you'll get. 2. They touch your butt - a lot. It's part of the process because a lot of your muscles are there that affect your back and legs. They do so through a thin sheet. The rest of the body is professionally draped as they massage your legs, back and arms bare hands to skin. 3. The hot stones are NOT free but worth it. Hubby and I paid $102 ($2 credit card use fee) for 2 one hour massages including hot stone treatment. We tipped $10 each person for a total of $122. That is what we normally pay for ONE good massage. This is a good value considering the great massages we received. We are experienced massage clients and so I'll say this is not the same as the more expensive ones we've had but TOTALLY WORTH what you pay for. We also got a $10 gift card to use on our next visit AND we got a frequent visitor card to use so that after 10 stamps you get a free service. Nice! 4. Knickers - it is normal to fully disrobe to complete butterball nakedness for these types of massages - that means no underwear and no bra (if female). HOWEVER, you can totally keep your knickers on if you'd like. Even if you do, they'll fold the sheet into the top part of your roos and pull them down a bit so they can access the base of your tailbone. This is necessary to roll all the kinks out. 5. Talking - we found both of our masseuses to be relatively quiet and only speaking when necessary - which we appreciated. 6. Ambience - very clean, including the bathrooms. Music was pleasant and front desk attendant spoke in hushed tones. Our room and sheets were very clean. 7. Expectations for massage - they can't fit everything into one hour so they ask you up front what area you'd like them to focus on. We picked back area and they did just that. They still massaged other areas but spent a lot of time on our backs and did that area with excellence. They used enough oil to deep fry us and put us on a stick at the county fair BUT they wiped us down with clean warm washcloths afterwards so it was all good. Final thoughts, it's a good value and we'll be back. Just be sure to be VERY clear about what you want in terms of services, pressure and the fact that you want to keep your knickers on if that's your preference (there's a bit of a language barrier). read more
