Massage services have been a little inconsistent since they moved to the new location. I ask for massage in a specific area, and they say okay, but don't do it. This has happened the last 3 times. I think it's a language barrier, and I love the staff. I always tip well despite it being wrong because I like the business. My only issue is if you don't know what I want, don't smile and say yes, just ask again I promise I won't be mad. Front desk said it would be a 10 minute wait, we were sitting in the massage chairs in front of the store. We walked back in, 10 min later and was told she looked for us and went ahead and gave our spot away. Then she gave us the next time slot 45 min later and made us pay $10 to her to hold our spot. She wanted to make sure we wouldn't leave! What the heck kind of service is this!? She should have paid us for giving our spot away, when we never left. No credit, no apology. My son & I went there after my back went into a spasm. I couldn't have chosen a better place. I explained to the receptionist what was wrong and she told the non-English-speaking masseuse exactly what I needed. She then gave me 1 hour of therapeutic heaven. Don't underestimate this place because it's located inside a mall, I callee last minute for a shiatsu massage and they squeezed me in without hesitation. Grace really worked her magic on getting all my knots and kinks out. She was strong and gentle and truly listened to my requests on medium hard firmness- was careful to avoid areas from previous injuries and got all my kinks out in an hour. They offer a variety of massages and specials. Definitely stop in and they will take good care of you. read more

Amazing. Both me ad my husband went. NEITHER of us had any complaints. The atmosphere was clean, relaxing, top notch. I suffer from migraines that sometimes go for up to five days and my husband has severe back issues. This place is worth the hype. It was very busy when I arrived (it was mother's day but there were plenty of men here too). They have great prices and really will give you a great massage. I was not sure if it was a clothes on/off kind of place (typically malls are clothes on), but as a pro-tip for those coming if you get a body massage it's clothes off. They do want you to tip well (20/30%) but considering the price & quality you're still going to be saving money vs. a typical massage place. Don't sleep on the foot reflexology. I've been a customer of Healing Asian Spa on and off for quite a few years, dating back to when They were Healing Hands Touch. I've had massages at all kinds of places - chains, private LMTs, strip malls, and the like, and the ladies at Healing Asian Spa always provide one of the better massages. Although the space is small, they recently remodeled the inside. Gone are the curtains that used to separate rooms, and now there are not-quite ceiling height walls. Some of the rooms are equipped for Ashiatsu (back walking) if you are so inclined. Their VIP package is excellent, and it vaults Healing Asian Spa to the "Best Deal in Annapolis Mall" category. Yes, there is an initial outlay of $50.00 for a 1 year VIP, but you can make that up within two visits (based on regular prices). With the VIP, you can also get warm-therapy, which includes a hot pad and hot stones for a little bit (not a full hot stone massage, but a 3-5 minute session where the therapist uses them on your back). A one hour session with the warm therapy costs $52.00 on VIP. For non-VIP, it would be $68.00 (Acupressure Massage) or $78.00 (Enhanced Detail massage) The therapists that I've worked with are all excellent, and can handle anything from a light touch Swedish-relaxation massage to serious deep tissue work. Although I have found a favorite there, my experiences with Wendy, Sara, Ella, and Helen have all been top-notch. I've also had the pleasure of working with the owner/manager (Tina) on some situations, and she has been responsive and worked with me to make sure I got the specific massage and style I was looking for. The only potential drawback of Healing Asian Spa is the occasional language barrier, but if you are clear with your preferences at the front desk, they will make sure the therapist understands and gives you the massage you want. read more

I heard so many good things about this massage spa from my friends. It's owned by a chinese family. They always very welcoming and caring. It's more like Asian style with special techniques. I don't know exactly how they find all my sore spots but very effective and relief all my pain. Even my chiropractor comes to this place. She recommended me to go to this place for pain relief on my rotator cuff and headache issue. I have to say this place gave the best...best massage ever. I had so many massges these years try fix my back, shoulders problem. Very expensive ones very cheap one I tried tons of places. So far, this place is my top choice with great price $90 for my regular 90 min deep tissue work (the Early Birds special is $82 Mon yo Thu before noon). I can't live withou it now....God bless me! This place is usually good, but I just had a terrible experience. I'm a pretty regular customer - I've been here maybe 50 times over the past 6 years. Some of their masseurs are better than others, but they're all solid. Except today. Today, I had a 30 minute massage with a masseuse who had little to no idea what she was doing. At the end, I very discreetly explained this to the woman who runs the place. She told me, "Sorry. It's [that masseuse's] first day, and I haven't trained her yet." What?! She explained the masseuse had worked somewhere else for three years, but is brand new at this place. This woman personally trains all their staff, to make sure they are good. She hadn't gotten to train this new masseuse yet. Basically, she had no idea if the masseuse was any good, but was giving her customers anyway. And now that I was a dissatisfied customer, all she kept saying was, "Sorry, it's her first day." I explained that I don't think that's right. I'm paying the same amount regardless. Customers expect the business to have confidence in their masseurs. This lady clearly had no confidence in her first-day hire, and did not care at all that I knew it. Nor did she care to do anything about it. Maybe I was too nice, and a tantrum would have gotten me a refund, or even a future discount to make up for my full-price payment on terrible service. No. The message was clearly, "We had no idea what the quality would be, but you already paid, so we don't care." A sub-par massage is one thing. Sub-par customer service is entirely different. I'm left very annoyed, as this is a place I've enjoyed for years. But if they don't even have confidence in their own staff, then neither can I. I won't be going back. read more

Although our appointment was scheduled for 11, we waited another 30 extra minutes for them to come out and take us back. Luckily I am a patient person so it was fine by me! But the Massage was Stellar! Completely worth the wait.. and I always Tip them a 20 on great massages. This spa was recommended by a friend. The facility was cleaned and the atmosphere seemed very serene and relaxing as you would want in a spa because that's part of the overall experience. However when I started my services, I instantly realized that the walls are actually partitions, therefore you can hear conversations from other rooms around you. The employees talked very loud and will open the curtains (which are very thin) or come into the room during the message which is very uncomfortable. Wow! I visited this spa for the first time over Labor Day Weekend. The staff was incredibly welcoming and warm. The place is clean, tranquil and relaxing. I've hand plenty of massages. The facility is expertly clean - spa rooms are sanitized after each use and customers also have the option of asking for paper sheets. The services are wide-ranging for both women and men. However, I often opt for the 1.5 hour Hot Stone Massage or 100 minute Honey Scrub which is heavenly! Please stop by the spa and select a service. This place exceeded my expectations! My friend and I walked in for foot massages with no appointment and were immediately accommodated. The woman at the front desk showed us the menu of options and did not try to upsell us which I really appreciate. Behind the curtain is a dimly lit hall with comfortable chairs for foot massage and private cubicles for table massage. Lovely, relaxing music plays. We give this place a try after walking around town. The massage therapist was very professional with massage techniques, we did 30 minuets feet n one hour table massage. We had extra service add on my feet's with herbal and sea salt scrub. Therapist it was very good with back walk in on my body. well worth the money spend. Recommend since was very clean quiet spa.
