As many have said, the receptionist was quite rude. I called and booked the 90 minute special from Groupon for $70 the same day - but 4 hours in advance -and she said I was booked. I called back one hour before arrival to make sure they were on schedule. She confirmed the 90 minute appt. When I got there, she told me the therapist was very busy that day ( didn't see another customer in the place) and could only do 60 minutes for 80 and wouldn't accept the Groupon. As I walked out she yelled saying "you no leave" I and was willing to give me "great special" on a first time customer discount and get $10 off. So i told her instead of honoring their advertisement of $70 for 90 minutes, she was offering me 60 minutes for same price - wow, what a deal. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY at this deceptive place. Outside their front door, a woman walked by me and said the same thing, "they're horrible in there, hope you didn't waste your money in there." Groupon refunded. read more

Tried to book an appointment and couldn't reach them the first couple of times. Finally reached a person on the telephone and they informed me that they would have to call me back the next day. They never called. I tried emailing them & calling them at least 6 different times, to no avail. I had a groupon that I wanted to use and wasn't able to use, so I traded it for another spa before it expired. Not sure how they stay in business if they aren't open to the public??? I love this place! Small and family owned. They treat their loyal customers well. Good discount packages. I buy the 5 60 minute reflexology sessions for 200$. Brian is great! He is very attentive. Relaxing atmosphere and very quiet. Lucy is great for massages if you want deep tissue. The owner provides her phone number so you can text for appointments and she responds very quickly. I purchased a Groupon for my daughter and to celebrate her Birthday and when I called to schedule she wanted to know if I had. Groupon and I should pay her directly. She doesn't want the Groupon. This is the 2nd spa that this has happened to me. Why are you on Groupon if in fact you don't want to accept them. My advice to this merchant would be take your business off of Groupon. Groupon is an option for merchants or is Groupon your way of luring customers. With that type of customer service I would never patronize your business. The service was good but after leaving a $20 tip the lady followed behind me asking for money I couldn't believe it. I stood there telling her I can give whatever amount I want and following behind me asking for money is really unacceptable. I would never go back just for that simple reason. I purchased initially by Groupon, upon calling to make an appointment they requested that I contact grouppn and cancel it and book directly through them. I was sent a series of texts requesting that we bring cash for tip, $20 minimum per tech. It was bought as a gift so I requested that it be charged to me, I was hung up on and refused service because I said I'd pay $10 in tip for each tech in addition for the cost of the appointment. The customer service rep stated that she rather not perform anything at all if that was the case. Well, after calling my family it appears they gave the techs cash as well. and they declined wanting to do so. In total I was hung up on twice, but once i called back at wits ends about the lack of customer service and what appeared to have been an error in taking my card information by phone. The icing on the cake was when they couldnt process my card by phone because they couldnt process anything other than credit cards if it wasnt in person and I was told I should've told them in advance that it wasnt a credit card. In actuality I've never had issues with my debit because it has a Visa logo on it and acts as credit. It worked with Groupon just fine with my initial purchase. With my family there waiting on service, I was forced to cashapp my family the money for what should've been a gift as they paid in person at the register following their massages. Thank goodness for cashapp. After a morning of stress, I hope my family is at the very least satisfied with their massages. Theres a billion places in new haven county and Fairfield county...dont waste your time with this place. I ignored the reviews, but now I'm testament of the poor service that they provide. read more

Stay away. They struggled to give us an appointment. On the day of the appointment they notified that they could only provide male technicians and asked if we could come in early. We agreed but an hour later had to reschedule. They refused and instead kept our Groupon fee! Couldn't have been more rude. read more
