I cannot lie! Never once had a massage before, but it might be hard to top how zen I became! I honest to god had a fantastic and relaxing experience. Nothing too over the top. Nothing too fancy. Just simple. Calm. Peaceful. I went today for the first time and wasn't disappointed. Very open minded and welcoming atmosphere with a lovely masseuse! I personally called beforehand and as soon as I walked through the door, everything was prepped. I truthfully aim to go back as soon as possible! I think the thing that moved my rating up to 5/5 stars is the fact the woman who was giving me my massage was so incredibly kind and she did an amazing job too! I would stay away from this place. Bought a groupon once and the workers wanted proof of purchase and I showed and redeemed the groupon in front of them and they had told me it was not valid, they had made me pay up front even though I had a groupon. Followed by that situation they started yelling at me and my group that we had to tip before we left, at the time we all weren't ready to leave yet. Usually I would tip before I leave but after getting yelled at by employees I didn't even wanna leave one. DO NOT GO HERE. We called ahead to ask if we could get two foot massages, and were told yes. We arrived soon after and asked for two 30 minute foot massages and were sat in two chairs in the hallway. Our feet were soaked for 15 minutes, then we each received 10 minute foot massages that weren't very good at all. And we were given the massages one after the other so one of us was sitting around twiddling our thumbs while the other got the massage. We were then charged $40 EACH for a shitty 10 minute foot rub. Please, go anywhere else to actually relax and enjoy your massage. read more

My review has been updated since we actually did go for our massages after a week of them being completely booked and then able to get whatever time we wanted. Very interesting to say the least. Anyway, since our Groupon was a gift we would not have been refunded. We arrived about 15 minutes early for our appointment and they took us right away, which I appreciated the promptness since again we had other things that we needed to do in the afternoon. The room was dimly lit and a bathroom was available right across from the massage rooms. The owner told us to put all of our clothes in a basket that was laid between the two of us and to just leave underwear on. The massage itself was really good. She did work a little too hard around my neck so I had a little sore spot for the day after but was better by Tuesday. The hot stones were my favorite part and my husband was pretty uncomfortable with them. He later told me this is conversation because he liked the hot towel. Which coincidentally was my least favorite part. I felt that the towel got cold too quickly so it felt more like a rub down on a hot summer day and throw yourself into a semi-cold shower. For the massage itself: I would give a 4 star rating. However, due to the initial experience my rating would be a 3 overall. read more

I absolutely love going to Blue Rose Spa. The atmosphere is extremely clean, welcoming and the staff are very respectful and responsive to your individual needs. Body massages with hot stones and foot massages are highly recommended. Soaking your feet in hot water, while listening to relaxing music is beyond perfect. We have been here 2 times for the couples massage. It is always amazing and very professional. Its also very clean. A woman in an earlier post claimed she was sexually assaulted because the masseuse pulled her underwear down on her butt so he could put oil on for the massage. Yes Chinese massage includes your butt. they pull your pants down so you don't go home with massage oil on them. After massaging someone for a full hour, I doubt he thinks " or boy I get to touch her but' More likely he is thinking " this is hard I hope I am done soon. I have been going to Blue Rose massage since January. Everyone on the staff is friendly. The place is kept very clean and the rooms are nicely decorated. I have always received an excellent deep tissue massage because, I ask for a hard massage. For me a deep tissue massage for 90 minutes is the only way to go! The hot stones are the icing on the cake. I recommend this place for anyone looking for a great therapeutic massage. read more

This was a really awful experience. We purchased a groupon for a couples massage. They weren't able to speak enough English to tell us what to do prior to and during the massage. A paper towel was placed over the pillow for your face with a tear put in the center essentially so that your face wasn't on their pillow instead of some sort of sheet. I am a female who was given a male masseuse who never even introduced himself to me or asked if that was ok. They never asked about areas that are ok and not ok to touch which is normally the case with any other massage/spa. I chose to wear my underwear during the massage because I felt a little weirded out from the beginning and he pulled my underwear down exposing my bare butt while massaging my back. When messaging my legs, he pulled my underwear completely to the side and tucked the sheet into my underwear turning my underwear into essentially a thong. At that point, I had to tell him "no". I went with my fiance who could heard me say "no" to this man who was touching me and that obviously ruined any relaxation and enjoyment for both of us. I felt I was touched inappropriately, will never recommend this spa to others, and will never return for future services. Be very wary if purchasing a groupon from this spa. read more
