To make the most of my appointment I usually spend a minute or two discussing with her the key areas to focus on as well as noting anything I'm noticing healthwise such as migraines or sensitivities. She takes them into consideration and will spend extra time addressing certain pressure points to release tension. The sessions are very calming because she takes her time and doesn't rush. I like adding the aromatherapy and also the music and privacy of the space. She uses appropriate pressure and is comprehensive in addressing all the aches, knots, and stress of the week with a well-paced flow that allows me to enter a really deep state of relaxation. They don't use paper coverings for the face placement on the table & I can't help but feel they don't wash all of their linens after each client. The masseuse instantly starts the deep tissue massage prior to 'warming' up your muscles. The worst part about my experience today is ... I tipped 20% & the woman @ the desk tapped the counter & asked me to put an additional $5 down. The fact that I tipped 20% is irrelevant in this situation. This is such inappropriate & unprofessional behavior. Once she saw the shock look on my face, she smiled as if that softens her inexcusable request. Unfortunately, I will never go to this business again & will recommend others refrain as well.
