Despite giving him the opportunity to clean or repair the pavers, the stain remained. When I asked him to take responsibility, instead of addressing the issues, he became angry, defensive, and unprofessional in both his behavior and his written communications. He even tried to shift the blame onto me and claimed I should have purchased primer so he could check for his own mistakes -- an unreasonable and unprofessional expectation. Based on my experience, I would never recommend him to anyone. I am now left with damages to repair out of my own pocket because of his lack of accountability and poor workmanship.

He immediately suggested re-using the blocks since they seemed to be in decent condition and would save money. Just 3 days later, the work started and was finished just 4 days later with a Sunday and a rainy Monday that was a wash out. I am usually very reluctant to talk to anyone that rings my doorbell to sell me something but Tom seemed very nice. Also, I could actually see the work they were doing on my neighbor's house so I decided to hear him out. I've been considering replacing the 28 year old roof for years, since I had started to see shingle damage during storms, but just kept putting it off another year at a time. Tom was a super nice person and didn't in any way pressure me into a sale. He showed me what they were doing to my neighbors roof and I asked him for a quote. Very happy with Tom's offer I agreed to the job. One difference between Hometown Home Improvements offer and other roofers is that Tom didn't ask for any money until the job was complete and I was satisfied. None of the other estimates I had gotten from other roofing companies offered this. They all wanted money before they started. The next day a crew showed up at 8am sharp, stripped the old roof off and reshingled it in one day. New gutters were on by the end of the day and the job was complete by the second morning. Tom also rerouted my back downspout to the front of the house, which is a huge improvement since I had excessive build up of water from the downspout coming off the back of the house into my back yard. His workers were extremely professional and hard working. They tented the back and front of the house and not a single bush had any damage to it. When they finished you would never have known workers were in my yard, it was spotless. They came did the work and nothing but issues since. They removed a chimney cap never cemented the chimney which caused a massive leak, had a part of my ceiling fall in because they didn't nail in the shingles correctly. One this company does shit work and it's illegal to walk around asking for business DON"T EVER USE THEM
