Called they asked me to come place order in person and will honor website prices which was a bit cheaper, then they told me they can't give that price, ok, no problem will give higher price, just get it right. Took my order, told me will call next day with final pricing and confirmation, no call at all. Called them back, no one knows about this order Took me 4 days talking to 5 different people to get this order. On the day of party they didn't have my food ready on time, I called twice to make sure it will be ready on time. My bakery! Been coming here for almost a decade and they never fail on coming through. The best!

I have faithfully ordered birthday cakes from here for the past 10 years. I've also provided plenty of business for this bakery. I can't really complain about the pastries they serve daily or their vanilla custard cake which is the only reason why I have continued to come here despite all of the terrible experiences I've had including discrimination. I was willing to overlook that and the fact that THEY ABSOLUTELY CANNOT REPLICATE SMALL AND SIMPLE DESIGNS. I've noticed that they often overcharge people like myself who are not of the same race and culture as their own. Unfortunately I have been charged an extra $5 for the same a cake a customer ahead of me was charged for and I hate to think that it was likely because I was of a different race. Another one of there tactics is to overcharge for cakes by not disclosing the size or measurements of the cakes upon ordering. I had previously complained about an order I placed for a full sheet cake that I paid in full. When I arrived for pickup, the cake was only a 3 quarter sheet and the design was a joke. Because I had made a full payment and I was refused a refund, I ended up having to deal with the cake. Still, I faithfully returned to this bakery only to be aggressively confronted by one of the employees. And yet again, I kept coming back. I placed an order for 2 cakes this weekend. A plain red round cake and a plain black round cake. Simple right? I explained and emphasized over the phone that the two cakes needed to be a specific size. I was very clear and did my best to make sure that this was manageable for them before making a deposit. She verbally agreed to take my order and sent me a photo of the receipt which did not have any visible writing. I stated again via text that my orders had to each be a specific size which she replied "ok". But of course when I picked up my order, not only were they smaller than what I asked twice for, but they were also the same size hence ruining the plans I had for these cakes:/. Even after showing them the text where they agreed to the sizes I asked for, they were not at all apologetic or did anything to accommodate me. I started to think if it was worth coming back after this and I was really torn:( but after seeing that they've had 8 health violations, that is where I draw the line! It's four birthdays a year I celebrate for family etc and I buy them from here. We had horrible experience getting a birthday cake from this place. We showed them two pictures and they said they could make the cake the way we wanted, we asked blue background which could have been sprayed on making it marble looking and crystal sugar added to have crystal rock affect. When the time came to pick up the cake, it was only white cake and gold trims. They got the crystal part right though. We let them know it's not looking like the one in our picture. They said well the baker is gone already. While gone in the back room though knowing how bad this looks they used some of the gold paint again on the white parts, but you can see it was just done by rubbing their fingers around the cake. You will see it in my pictures. We had no choice to take the cake since we had a birthday to do and everywhere was closed already for Christmas. Later on I call to ask why they messed up my order so badly, without apologizing they said we told you we can't make it that way but we wanted to do something for you and this is the way, we can't do anything else. I asked for supervisor or manager, they denied saying he or she is not here. I asked them to ask supervisor to call me. After waiting for a day no one called I called again. They finally agreed to give discount with out stating how or how much, on our next order. I was fine with that since we needed another cake for the new year. When we go to choose a cake again no supervisor comes to talk to us even after few times asking for them. they make no apologies and yet they argued that you won't be getting what you think you can get, meaning that you can't get your money back or get another cake for reduced price. After few minutes though they said go choose cake and we will take 10$ off. Ten dollars for the embarrassing situation they created for us and getting our birthday girl to cry on her special day? This is a little place located in a convenient strip mall. Service is friendly.- Staff is very friendly. If you have never tried a Panchik. You have to try this pastry. I love the Nutella filled, but the vanilla is just as good. They often run out so getting there earlier I key for these. They will help you with your special cake as well. Wow! Really? Why wasn't I told about this adorable bakery in Burbank? New Year's Eve my friend and I decided to stop in for some treats to kick of the New Year sweet! As expected, the place was packed, but tolerable. To start, the parking lot was awfully crowded along Alameda, since it is shared with other establishments. On to the treats! We walked in to bakery heaven with various well decorated cakes, mousse desserts, bird's milk cake and fruit tarts. Staff are very sweet and friendly despite the crowd of customers and chaos. Today was my daughter's 1st birthday party, and I ordered two cakes from this place. Both of them looked nothing like the cakes I wanted. I showed them pictures and told them what colors I wanted but they totally messed up the colors and design. It was really embarrassing to have those cakes on my table as they were supposed to be the focal point of it. It looked like they did everything in a hurry because they looked really messy. I bought croissants today from them, they claimed they were fresh, however, either they were old or not properly cooked, it was just impossible to eat them. When I took them back, they tried to convince me that they are o.k, and that maybe I dont understand how a croissant is supposed to taste. On other occasions the stuff that I bought from them had margarine in it, instead of butter. Got the dated cookies today with sesame seeds and noticed they also have anise seeds inside of the cookie part, the dates are seasoned with cinnamon, and are very lightly sweetened. (which is probably a bad thing for your waistline) Cream puffs, tiramisu, red velvet cake slices, tarts, and of course, the amazing Voznis everyone has raved about already. Each piece for between $1.00-$3.00. Great place to grab a treat. They also have beautiful, delicious-looking cakes ready to go. I don't know the price ranges of those cakes, but I'd be willing to pay based on sight and smell alone! Traditional cakes, cakes with fresh fruit, you name it...they probably have it. When i took the Cake back the Rude Cashiers told me that i want to be a Wise A... and get 2 Cake in price of one because i was was asking for another cake. They even accused me of lying .When i talked to the owner she was the worst and rude and accused me that we ate the cake and now we want to get another Cake.They didn't want to give my money back and Get me another Cake!
