We decided on MasFajitas for a surprise birthday party for my mother. The staff and management were attentive and accommodating! Our waiters Felix and Brian did a great job with our party of 20+. Food was out quickly and orders were accurate. For those looking to use the party room, we found it about right for 20 people, though you could fit more with the tables more separated. Thanks MasFajitas for your help with a special celebration! read more

This place is awesome! The food was great and the drinks are even better!! Yolanda and Wade were great!

I don't usually have time to write a review but I decided to take the time and here it is...This was the first time my husband and I have been here. We have been wanting to check it out since they opened because we would see a lot of cars parked outside. A little concerned of the strange smell as we walked in. The waitress sat us down at a table that was not clean, she grabbed a rag and wiped side to side on table throwing the crumbs on my lap in which I did say something to her as she apologized. My husband & I both ordered the lunch fajitas which were priced right and just ok.(My stomach was upset afterwards )We ordered a large on draft beer in which always ask the price $5.50 a draft. We were quit surprised on the price. We asked to talk to the manage in which he was quit rude to us when we questioned the draft price he said well you should have ordered the small for 2.50. OMG Instead of just saying politely I can adjust it and hope you liked the meal so we would feel welcome to come back but he did not even think twice as he rudely made his comment and walked away. This will be the first & last time we will come here. Bad service always makes my stomach turn sour. So motto is ..If the place you walk in smells bad turn around. We personally do not recommend this but as always judge your own experience read more

In all fairness there is a sign posted that "quality food" takes a bit extra long to cook. So after 20 minutes of waiting when my dad was ready to chew my arm off, i had to remind him of the sign posted. After 30 minutes we did kindly ask where our food was. The waitress told us it was coming out next. She then returned to our table and told us our food had gotten "lost in the system" and was coming out in 5 more minutes. We waited because we had already spent 45 minutes there (including wait time for drinks, prior to ordering food). The food finally came out. The fajitas tasted horrible. No flavor or spice. the Chicken enchiladas with avocado were ok. Not the best. and the chicken tacos came out with cold tortillas and had to be sent back. Rice and beans came out of the box/can. WHen the manager came out instead of having customer service in mind, he wasted time in telling us his computer lost our order and no apology was given. read more

My husband and I sat there for about 15 minutes, wait staff walked by us several times and never stopped to take care of us. We left after meeting the manager at the front door who was too busy chatting with the host instead of checking on the customers and his staff. I advised the manager of our situation and he offered to make things right, but we didn't want to wait any longer. Take your chances. read more

Adding one star because you are forced to add at least one - So disappointing!! We've been regulars at the RR location for years & were so excited when Masfajitas opened in GT. Tonight we ordered our regular take out meal - the Caldwell for 2. This is not a cheap dinner! 32 dollars w/no drinks. We get home at 8 tired as can be from a long hard day and there were no tortillas in our meal - even though I confirmed flour tortillas. Then I call up to let them know we have no tortillas & was asked ''do you want the tortillas?'' Well heck yes I need tortillas to make my tacos for Pete's sake! I drive all the way back up there and the 2 idiots at the front door who are giggling direct me to the bar. I head to the bar & ask for my tortillas and I said "Thank you" she replies with ''no problem" - Since when does you screwing up my order constitute a response like that?? No problem?? Well YES there is a problem!! Now I get home to cold food & realize there are NO condiments! No shredded lettuce, no tomatoes, no sour cream, no guacamole - NOTHING! Worst customer service IN A LONG TIME! oh and on top of that very little meat in the container - mostly sauteed onions...HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!!! Will not be returning. read more

No stars. Horrible service. Called ahead and ordered take out. Was told order would be ready in 10 minutes. Arrived 10 minutes later to pick up order. Girl at bar was so rude, never smiled, acted like she hates her job. After 8 minutes got bill and paid. Waited another 15 minutes before rude bar girl brought our food. Never once did she apologize for the wait or give an estimated wait. I asked for something to keep our business. She said no. I asked for manager. He came over...wish I had gotten his name..short hispanic boy....i explained our office is really close and we frequent the food locations often. He said they had gotten busy since i called my order in. Never apologized, never offered a gift card, or discount on meal. Told me to go eat at La Playa down the street and slammed his hand on bar multiple times. WOW. read more

Masfajitas is a great place. Service at the bar is excellent & food is very good. Margaritas are awesome! They are happy to do substations or modify orders to your liking. Prices are very reasonable. Flan is homemade & outstanding. Manager is friendly & frequently on the floor making sure things are good. read more

This is our go-to place for great food and service. They handle hubby's "creative" orders and remember us each time we are there! Servers are always friendly and fun, management is involved and personable. Glad they are here in Georgetown! read more

Flajitas great and service super. Portions are very good and happy hour prices low like $1.99 margaritas.

Me and my wife stopped in here to grab a bite to eat and the service was excellent. It was nice and clean as well. The problem was the food. I'd say this was the worst Mexican food we've ever eaten. The lettuce in her taco salad was big chunks of the bottom of the lettuce head, you know the white part, but it wasn't even fully white....it was brown on most of it. The refried beans were disgusting. They tasted like a campfire...but not a good campfire...kind of like they were scraped off of one of those grills you see at a rest stop that everyone in the world uses and never cleans. Overall just bad. Won't be eating here again read more

Masfajitas now serves breakfast and since my wife and I like breakfast, we decided to try it. Every item on the menu is priced about $1.00 to $1.50 too much. Very few of the plates included a meat item (bacon), but the high price remained. Tortillas are usually included in a breakfast at a Mexican restaurant, but apparently not here. They added a fee for cold, stale tortillas, but did agree to remove the charge after we complained. The salsa was uninspiring. Save your breakfast money for another, better place. read more

Update. Have been back to MasFajitas several times in the last few months and can report that they have fixed their service issues. We've had good service and tasty meals. Chips and salsa are fresh and that's a biggie for me. Prices seem to have gone up a bit and that's the only thing keeping me from giving them 5 stars. Way to go MasFajitas. read more

We love this place. They always have great service and amazing flautas. 100%recommend to anyone looking for great Mexican food this the place. read more

Wait staff was attentive and anxious to please. Food was hot and flavorful but not exceptional. Salsa had some heat but wasn't memorable. Place has potential and a few kinks to work out but a decent first experience- not as good as dos salsas but a step up from mariachis de Jalisco read more

I had eaten here a couple of times on Taco Tuesday and thought it was pretty good. Decided to take my family here the week before Christmas. When the host told us that the servers were a little overworked and asked for our patience, I should have realized that this might not be the greatest dining experience. We were shown to a tiny booth that we could literally barely squeeze into. We wanted a booth, so figured we could make it work. Chips and salsa were provided promptly. Server took drink orders, and, as warned, disappeared for a good 10 minutes before returning to take our orders. Ordered a queso as an appetizer. The queso was thick, lumpy, lukewarm and tasteless. Very poor. After another long wait, the server finally returned to take our food orders. Server was not able to answer questions about menu items, but we ordered a carne guisada, a carnita platter, cheese enchilada plate and beef tacos. Took 45 minutes for the food to be delivered. Sadly, the only plate that was served hot was the cheese enchiladas. The carne guisada and carnitas, though generous portions, were cold and bland, with little seasoning or flavor. The beef tacos were also delivered cold, and with very little beef filling. The cheese enchiladas were hot, but were pasty and had little flavor. Overall, a very disappointing meal. Every restaurant has an off night occasionally, but because of the breadth of issues at this place, it will be awhile before we try this place again. read more

Just finished lunch. Food and service were excellent. Salsa was a little bland, other than that, recommend restaurant

Quite good actually! I know they're new and need time to adapt. The service was a little slow but they were really trying. And I thot the food and salsa was really good. We all enjoyed it very much. It's not quite as good Mariachi's but a BIG step up from Dos Salsas. We'll definitely be going back. read more

Have been twice. Salsa is very good. Flavor is good and spicy without killing the taste. Have had tradition TX MEX on first visit, good. On the second visit had the Monterey Chicken at lunch, which was fabulous. We also had the happy hour Margaritas that were very well done. Our mother had a fresh salad without the chicken (beats me), she raved about it. It was very fresh. I have known her for over 20 years and she has never offered a positive comment about food at any time and is a tough customer. Great value! Will be back for a third time! read more

The server did a good job. The refried beans tasted liked they came from a can. The queso was too watery and salsa bland. It was the end of the night and we left at 9:15. While we were stilling eating the servers brought out a mop bucket and mops with pine o pine and starting mopping. Eating while smelling pine o pine is not pleasant. My husband and I will not be back. read more

The food here just ok. The Nachos were a little too cheesy. The bartenders are nice and the $1.99 margarita Wednesday is good except the Margarita's are just so so also. read more

I've eaten here several times and the food and service is ok. But watch your wallet. Every time I've been there, I've been short changed. An example: last night's bill was $15.12. I gave the server a $20 and my change was four ones, minus the 88 cents due. This has happened every time I've been there. It's not about the money so much as it is my choice as to how much I tip. I am a generous tipper, but I get to make the call. Not pleased. read more

We were not impressed. While the staff was friendly, service was slow and the quality of the good mediocre at best. I seriously doubt we will return. read more

Good enchiladas. Fajita meat was tender. Good service. It was a little warm inside of the restaurant.

Myself, my son and daughter in law would eat here once a week until we noticed that the water was starting to taste really bad. I brought my own water in the next time, but the server gave me a stern talking to for bringing in my own. Then we noticed that the frozen drinks were tasting bad like the water. We liked the food but we have not been back. It's been over a month. read more

we gave 1 star because you have to give at least one. my husband and I had lunch there today and will never go back. the service was awful and the wait staff were the sloppiest I have ever seen in a restaurant .the food was cold and tasteless. The salsa was bland and watery, my husbands chicken nachos had to be remade and still left much to be desired. I asked for refried instead of French fries with my shrimp dinner and they charged xtra for the very bland cold refried beans (I mentioned it to our server and she did take it off the bill) the shrimp was supposed to be jumbo and hand battered, it was frozen and deep fried. we had been wanting to try this place for awhile, but from now on we will stick to our tried and true mex restaurant Dos Salsa! read more

We have been to Masfajitas five times since they opened in Georgetown. At first I overlooked the bad service since they had recently opened. However, the service has not gotten any better with time. Today, Mother's Day, at 2pm there were only 10 tables occupied. We had to ask for chips and salsa, we had to ask for additional salsa. It took over 7 minutes to get our drinks, and we were never offered water. We had to ask for that as well. The manager came over once to see if all was okay, but at that time we were out of chips and salsa, and he did send some over. Probably the worse experience, some of the staff decided to eat at the table above us (there are several tables on a slightly upper level). It was extremely inappropriate to allow waitstaff to eat in close proximity with the customers, however, it is more inappropriate to allow them to talk about the customers when we were within earshot!!!! There seemed to be an area in the back of the restaurant that they could have used. What's worse...the manager was eating with them. If my husband didn't like the food as much as he does, I would never return to this restaurant. The only positive, the food has been consistently good on each visit. read more

This place wins the award for poorly trained servers! My first visit was for lunch right after they opened and since they are fajitas-centric I ordered a combination beef & chicken plate. The chicken was rubbery and the beef was tasteless and stringy. The service was slow but I blamed that on early teething problems. Last night my wife and I went for dinner at 5:30 and the place was packed. I ordered 2 Mexican martinis using a reposado tequila which stumped the server and bartender! I ordered a carne asada plate, no beans or rice and asked for mixed vegetables instead (shown on the menu). The server asked me if I wanted a side salad and I said no. When served, my plate included beans, rice and a side salad with no dressing. The menu states that they only use their steak fajita meat and my carne was an overcooked, thin, dry and stringy cut of dubious origin. My wife's chili rellano plate was ugly but tasted good. The previous occupant - La Playa, was better but if you want the best Mexican in and around, Dos Salsas is it. Great menu and food, drinks and service! read more
