Services was ok, you could tell our server was new. The food took around 45 minutes to come and the taste was ok not better than any other restaurant in town. We went to Masfajitas on Monday Mexican Martini night. They were great. Along with our martinis, we ordered the shrimp diablo and the talipia covered with shrimp. Both meals were excellent. We specifically asked that they be brought to us hot, as in "hot plate," and both meals were perfectly hot. The service exceeded our expectations. Came back and was blown away!! Leaps and bounds from thier first week open!! Drinks were worth the money, food was great, no funky "play-dough" smell. We came here because our neighbors said it was great, they were wrong. It is OK, quick service and the food came hot and quickly, but it lacks flavor. It is spicy but no layers of flavor found in better Tex-mex food. Margaritas were ok but hard to tell if they had tequila in them. read more

Last night was the first time trying this place since we moved to Georgetown two months ago. The food was ok, the guy we assume was the on-duty manager was extremely friendly, and our waitress was great, but the hostess left a lot to be desired. She's your first impression when walking into the restaurant and we didn't get a hello, a smile, or anything close to a welcoming feeling. We kind of got a kick out of seeing her take people to tables as it (thankfully) wasn't just us, she just wasn't a pleasant person. I don't usually have time to write a review but I decided to take the time and here it is...This was the first time my husband and I have been here. We have been wanting to check it out since they opened because we would see a lot of cars parked outside. A little concerned of the strange smell as we walked in. The waitress sat us down at a table that was not clean, she grabbed a rag and wiped side to side on table throwing the crumbs on my lap in which I did say something to her as she apologized. My husband & I both ordered the lunch fajitas which were priced right and just ok.(My stomach was upset afterwards )We ordered a large on draft beer in which always ask the price $5.50 a draft. We were quit surprised on the price. We asked to talk to the manage in which he was quit rude to us when we questioned the draft price he said well you should have ordered the small for 2.50. OMG Instead of just saying politely I can adjust it and hope you liked the meal so we would feel welcome to come back but he did not even think twice as he rudely made his comment and walked away. This will be the first & last time we will come here. Bad service always makes my stomach turn sour. So motto is ..If the place you walk in smells bad turn around. We left after meeting the manager at the front door who was too busy chatting with the host instead of checking on the customers and his staff. Me and my wife stopped in here to grab a bite to eat and the service was excellent. It was nice and clean as well. The problem was the food. I'd say this was the worst Mexican food we've ever eaten. The lettuce in her taco salad was big chunks of the bottom of the lettuce head, you know the white part, but it wasn't even fully white....it was brown on most of it. The refried beans were disgusting. They tasted like a campfire...but not a good campfire...kind of like they were scraped off of one of those grills you see at a rest stop that everyone in the world uses and never cleans. Masfajitas now serves breakfast and since my wife and I like breakfast, we decided to try it. Every item on the menu is priced about $1.00 to $1.50 too much. Very few of the plates included a meat item (bacon), but the high price remained. Tortillas are usually included in a breakfast at a Mexican restaurant, but apparently not here. They added a fee for cold, stale tortillas, but did agree to remove the charge after we complained. The salsa was uninspiring. Save your breakfast money for another, better place. read more

In all fairness there is a sign posted that "quality food" takes a bit extra long to cook. So after 20 minutes of waiting when my dad was ready to chew my arm off, i had to remind him of the sign posted. After 30 minutes we did kindly ask where our food was. The waitress told us it was coming out next. She then returned to our table and told us our food had gotten "lost in the system" and was coming out in 5 more minutes. We waited because we had already spent 45 minutes there (including wait time for drinks, prior to ordering food). The food finally came out. The fajitas tasted horrible. No flavor or spice. the Chicken enchiladas with avocado were ok. Not the best. and the chicken tacos came out with cold tortillas and had to be sent back. Rice and beans came out of the box/can. WHen the manager came out instead of having customer service in mind, he wasted time in telling us his computer lost our order and no apology was given. read more

Update. Have been back to MasFajitas several times in the last few months and can report that they have fixed their service issues. We've had good service and tasty meals. Adding one star because you are forced to add at least one - So disappointing!! We've been regulars at the RR location for years & were so excited when Masfajitas opened in GT. Tonight we ordered our regular take out meal - the Caldwell for 2. This is not a cheap dinner! 32 dollars w/no drinks. We get home at 8 tired as can be from a long hard day and there were no tortillas in our meal - even though I confirmed flour tortillas. Then I call up to let them know we have no tortillas & was asked ''do you want the tortillas?'' Well heck yes I need tortillas to make my tacos for Pete's sake! I drive all the way back up there and the 2 idiots at the front door who are giggling direct me to the bar. I head to the bar & ask for my tortillas and I said "Thank you" she replies with ''no problem" - Since when does you screwing up my order constitute a response like that?? No problem?? Well YES there is a problem!! Now I get home to cold food & realize there are NO condiments! No shredded lettuce, no tomatoes, no sour cream, no guacamole - NOTHING! Worst customer service IN A LONG TIME! oh and on top of that very little meat in the container - mostly sauteed onions...HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!!! Will not be returning. read more
