    Pupusa de queso

I would give it 3.5 stars. Tucked in a small area next to a Tiger Mart, Masa Luna is a tiny place that has a good selection of foods. They offer Salvadoran, as well as Mexican menu options. I went on a Thursday afternoon and the place was very loud and packed with guys drinking beer (already lol - I don't judge). But because of the loud music, I'd suggest ordering the food to go. I got a pupusa de queso (corn tortilla filled with cheese) and tacos con carne asada (steak tacos). Loved my pupusa! It was yummy. Definitely going back for those. However, I wasn't too impressed with the steak tacos. First of all, in their online menu it says 4 tacos for $8.99 but instead they gave me 3 tacos for $9.99 - either fix the online menu or give me the right amount of tacos. And then the tacos were a bit too oily - as of the meat has been sitting in oil for hours. The cashier was friendly. I would go back for the pupusas, but doubt anything else.

This is #47...carne deshilada con huevos...stripped beef w/scrambled eggs, rice, refried beans & tortillas.

This place is delicious! A hidden gem! Just be aware that they don't speak English very well. To me, that is a good thing because that means there's a good chance the food will be really authentic. I had to pull out my phone and show my server a picture because she didn't understand the English word I was saying. It was no problem for me though. The only reason they didn't get 5 stars is because they were out of what I wanted. I then tried ordering a second dish, but they didn't have that either. Finally found something they had on the third try. Whatever I picked (#47) was delicious and I'm really glad I got it. Definitely check this place out.

MAS + A (PLUS) = MASA LUNA! Woah! So I have work next to this place for over 3 years and have never been. I can't for the life of me think of why! So I went on Friday! Such a gem! Great food for a reasonable price. I had a chicken tamale and the mixed fajitas. I got my food to go so I don't know anything about the service but I do know that the food was was absolutely delicious! Boom goes the dynamite! GO!

I drove by this place a few times for months now. Last night, I was determine to give this place a try. I love eating at smaller size restaurants because I believe they are family own and the food taste better. This place did not disappoint me. They have generous portion and the food are delicious! For appetizers, I tried #16, Fried yuca with pork. They ran out of pork but I ordered the fried yuca anyway. It comes with a salsa like slaw. The yuca was thick and crispy on the outside. The slaw was crunchy and tart. I think its a great combination. I also ordered #12, empanadas with plantain. This dish threw me off. It's under appetizer but the flavor is sweet. The coating is brown cinnamon sugar I believe. This wasn't my favorite, but I'm glad I tried it. For dinner, I tried #58, Seafood soup. Boy, the bowl was packed with different types of seafood: blue crab (a whole crab!), shrimps, calamaris, mussels, and fish (I got a whole tail). The soup is a light seafood brought with coconut milk. Lime wedges comes with this dish, I recommend adding this to the dish. If you are willing to get messy, roll up your sleeves and go at it. It's so good! The second dish was #59, combination of beef, chicken, and shrimp fajita. This dish is very well seasoned and cooked nicely. It comes with two thick tortillas. (I think they are tortillas). I didn't eat those because rice comes with the dish. I highly recommend to try this dish. It is tasty and a great value, $12.99. My third dish was #51, Chicken stew. This dish just place you in the comfort zone as if your mom cooked this stew. The meat is tender and falls off the bone. The dish consists of two chicken thighs and it comes with salad and rice, $10.99. Also a must try! The waitress is very nice and constantly checking if the food are OK. There is a jukebox on the wall. When it plays, the music is very loud. I didn't like that.

Muy rica la sopa de gallina recién preparada! El ambiente no es muy bueno pero tolerable para un rápido pick up de comida!

I've tried this place a couple times, the papusas were alright but that's the best I can say about it. I wouldn't recommend it to others.

The fajita mixta was dry and tough. Very little taste and the tortillas were corn tortillas thick and not good. I won't be back.

We initially decided to stop in after seeing some of the food my coworkers had ordered. While I wasn't able to identify exactly what they had from the menu, everything coming out of the kitchen looked fresh and appealing, which convinced us to give it a try. The smash burgers were excellent--cooked well, flavorful, and made to order. We also tried the lamb taco, which was very good and offered something a little different from the usual menu options. My daughters ordered the calamari and enjoyed it as well. For dessert, we sampled the churros. They were fresh and had a nice texture, making for a solid finish to the meal. One of the highlights was the fresh-squeezed juice. We tried the mango, and it was outstanding. You can definitely taste the difference when it's made fresh. My only observation is that the bottles are a little small, so it's easy to finish one quickly. That said, the staff was accommodating and even provided a couple of cups so we could enjoy fountain drinks as well. The service was excellent. Everyone was friendly, patient, and eager to help. There was a small mistake with our order, but it was corrected immediately without any issues. That's often a better indicator of customer service than getting everything perfect the first time. Special recognition goes to Hector Ramos at the register. He was professional, courteous, and made a great first impression on behalf of the restaurant. The only minor challenge was an occasional language barrier, but it never impacted the friendliness of the staff or our overall experience. Everyone remained kind, respectful, and committed to helping us. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor area has umbrellas and a nice atmosphere, although it was a little warm during our visit. The indoor dining area was comfortable and inviting. One thing to keep in mind is that much of the food appears to be prepared fresh to order. Because of that--and the volume of takeout orders--it may take a few extra minutes compared to a typical fast-casual restaurant. In my opinion, the wait is worth it. A little patience goes a long way when the food is being made fresh. For a first visit, this was an easy five-star experience. Good food, friendly service, fresh ingredients, and a welcoming atmosphere. We'll definitely be back, and I'll be interested to see if future visits are as strong as the first. Yelp Elite Reviewer

For many of my friends, when we visit this area, Crooked Run is now a destination because of the tacos (as well as the beer). I do find them delicious and nicely spiced. For me, their price is slightly below average among places I visit, so I find them to be a good deal, especially since they come in slightly larger tortillas - and double layered at that. Their lamb tacos - now 2 styles - are incredibly popular among my group, but I've never had a bad taco there. But the tacos are very messy. Perhaps they have a little too much - even double layered, some of the tacos fall apart as I eat them. Also their method of delivery is a little inconsistent. Two of us ordered two tacos each at the same time. One got his on a tray, I got mine in a little cardboard holder. Maybe they have a limited number of trays? No matter, it's not how they're presented, it's how they taste. And for that, I say "Si Senor!"
