It's been almost 20 years since I've used Dr. Voster, but he's now in a new office and the examination equipment they have now is of the latest technology. Nothing like it used to be, now it's more like a virtual reality type exam with a head set similar to what kids have to play games!! Dr. Voster is as kind and caring as he was 20 years ago, as are all of his assistants! The front desk is very helpful in assisting you with your insurance and paperwork also!!! They also have an on-site selection of eye glasses with many different frames and styles to choose from! I highly recommend Dr. Voster at the Eye Care Center

I arrived at 10:30 for a 10:40 appointment but was not brought into the exam room until 11:40. After that, I continued waiting to see Dr. Cass. I also want to note that the restroom toilet paper is extremely thin and breaks at each ply, which was inconvenient. Overall, the staff interactions were positive, but the extended wait time was frustrating and could use improvement.

The staff held the…read morepair of glasses I wanted and, when I returned during the week, patiently waited for me to make sure that's really the pair I wanted (it wasn't!). In a matter of just a few minutes, Holly handled my insurance information, checked my pupils and the fit of the frames, and explained my options for lenses to me. When I talked to my husband, he told me, "Our vision insurance is not Medicare. It is Premier Vision." When I called back to tell her we did not have Medicare vision insurance, there was a different person who answered the phone. Something about her conversation alerted the person I had had talked to previously and she gave the person I was talking to the answer for me, "We do not take Medicare." I do not understand. Do they just not want to deal with older people? Does Medicare vision insurance not pay? Is Premier Vision a Medicare insurance? I understand being busy in an office setting. But, I felt very brushed off without a good explanation. By the way, we can pay for our visits WITHOUT insurance. Not happy at all!

Although, I have observed the prices for annual optical check-ups have risen $10-$15 every year. They say because they have to charge for this and that. Despite that this particular Today's Vision has a lot of customers, I feel like they really want to say is "Due to the poor economy, we are not making enough profit, so we're going to make up random fees, so we can stay open." HA! Anywho, Dr. Yu who is the optometrist is pretty friendly and always have a smile. The staff here is excellent as well. They have a large variety of name brand glasses and depending on which brand you choose, "You get what you pay for!!!" I always choose Armani Exchange, Prada, or OGA frames. Pretty expensive but I love the frames. I recommend this particular Today's Vision.

I have been a patient for many years, and would follow him if he ever left! The optical side sells such a beautiful array of glasses, it almost makes it too hard to choose! I soo wish I didn't have to change from the original 5 star review but...after going to my…read moreappointment something just didn't seem right with me. The doctor came into the room with a receipt like paper and stated my eyes had changed and that she would write me a new prescription (She had not even done my exam at this point herself only the tech did some things in another room). Then stated lets go ahead and check everything anyways though. She set the machine to the numbers on the slip and said you should be able to see good and clear with these settings. I could not as it was blurry a bit still. So she made some adjustments and called it good, never wrote anything down just sent me out and handed the receipt to another lady who finally gave me my prescription to go order glasses. So I called about my prescription being off as I've gotten 3 pairs of glasses and all 3 pairs my right eye I cannot see out of the glasses properly (I was previously told to just wear them and my eyes will adjust), I was told I would have to pay for another exam, more money $$$ down the drain ($100 to be exact), I asked to speak with the manager about this issue and I was told she would leave a message for the doctor as the lady I spoke with stated she was the manager and that there was nothing she was going to do and it would be up to the doctor. We will see if I ever get a response. They've already failed to return any of the previous messages I've left during regular business hours concerning this issue. I could not take off of work to get this fixed so i just wore my previous pair of glasses. I've already spent $600.00 on glasses that the prescription is not correct in. After reviewing this with the place I ordered my glasses from it seems that my prescription is only off by .25 and the lady who answered the phone stated that it had change by that much. I don't believe there was a change I believe it was an actual input error. I shall see soon if they even return my call to see how they go about making this right since I've already had my exam within less than a years date. At this point I recommend going somewhere else so you don't run into the same issue and waste time & money just trying to have it done right.
