Most regular lenses are ready in an hour, my husband had his done in less than an hour. Everything went as expected. One pair of glasses was snug on the sides of my head and very uncomfortable, so I went back in today to have them adjusted. I happened to be helped by the manager, and he handled it amazingly! He fine tuned my issue with my snug glasses, and even tweaked my secondary glasses I'd bought here to be absolutely perfect! He took his time and made sure I was happy and comfortable. I saw others there being served as well as I was. One employee helping pull frames to a customer's preferences, another looked like she was getting her customer's frames adjusted just right too. My family and I have been consistently very happy with the service and quality of Stanton Optical. They've definitely earned our return business in the future!

I arrived at 10:30 for a 10:40 appointment but was not brought into the exam room until 11:40. After that, I continued waiting to see Dr. Cass. I also want to note that the restroom toilet paper is extremely thin and breaks at each ply, which was inconvenient. Overall, the staff interactions were positive, but the extended wait time was frustrating and could use improvement.

Dr. Levacy was recommended by a family friend and the process from first meeting to getting new eyes was about 3-4 weeks. You will need to come in for a consultation and they'll do some tests and take measurements of your eye, keep in mind you will need to wear glasses for 2-weeks leading up to the consultation. Sat down with the doc and he recommended a diff procedure called PRK instead of Lasik since my near-blind eyes had different risk factors. I appreciated him listing the pros/cons of the two procedures and ultimately letting me choose. We chose a date and I was pretty much on/off the table within 30 minutes of arriving! My only gripe about after the procedure is that they mentioned that I would feel a bit "discomfort" in my eyes the day after and asked if I wanted a prescription for painkillers. I said no, please....I am no wimp! Holy Hell, this "discomfort" was more like the worst pink-eye infection ever, hurt to open eyes - hurt to close them. Albeit, this is normal (for PRK) but I wish the word PAIN was used...not discomfort. Nothing like a fresh new pair of eyes! Highly recommend Dr. Levacy and make sure to come into your appt. early cause you'll be sitting for a looooooooooooong time.

I have had problems with my eyes for over 2 years due to an autoimmune disease. He just dismissed it and said that it's allergies and told me to get some drop over the counter that cost $25.99. I am now in the process of trying to go see a specialist in Houston because the Dr here don't seem to really want to listen to what I have to tell them. I have had so many test done on my eyes and asked him to get them from my other Dr in Las Vegas and he straightened out said no I don't need them it's just allergies. I left there broken hearted and with still infected eyes and when I told him I was out of the drops that normally help he just brushed it off. So my primary care Dr. Does listen and he sent a script in so I could get them. Maybe don't be so cocky and listen to your patients. Just take the time to act like you care.

Her reaction was like this happens all the time and she got up to look for glue. I told her I was upset about that and she immediately said she's not held liable if she broke my frames. She went to look for another frame and said I would have to pay for it. She didn't do it correctly in the first place. She was supposed to fix the left side and she didn't run it through the machine that heats up the frames to make them pliable. I'm not happy. We called customer care and reported the store. The lady on the phone said she's not aware of any policy where if they break your frames, you have to pay. I should have stayed with Texas State Optical.
