I've been going to Mid County TSO for over 20 years. After today's visit, I will never go back. The…read morefront desk lady, Amber, was so rude. I spoke with the office manager, Pam, but she didn't seem too concerned about fixing the problem. Sad to say, I will be giving my family of fives business to another place because of this. If I were you , I wouldn't waste my time there. The Dr was fantastic, but I'm not willing to go through all of that rudeness to get to the Dr. Sorry, not sorry.

Only after I walked over to casually take a look at frames did the guy come over and told me to sit down. We left and went to Beaumont TSO, where we were immediately greeted with a smile and handed a tray to carry frames I might like. Left a very happy customer after ordering my new glasses. Beaumont on Dowlen TSO is certainly worth the drive.

Terrible place to get glasses. Beware they have a new doctor, Dr. Mays. Previous customers are…read morenot told they are seeing a brand new doctor who was certified this year and just started working as a doctor. He was very friendly but he does a terrible job of prescribing customers for glasses. He completly missed that I have an astigmatism. I went back for a recheck and my prescription was still wrong. Same thing happened to my daughter and coworker. We all had to go back and fight with them for a refund. Save yourself the hassle and go to a place that has a doctor with more experience. A glasses prescription needs to be precise or its not worth having. I think he thinks if he gives you a prescription that's almost ok you should be happy. When I was there for a recheck there was another lady complaing her contacts prescription he gave her the day before was so strong she became nauseated while driving. Overall terrible experience. It took 4 to 5 weeks to deal with them and in the end they charged a 20% restocking fee even though it's the doctors fault the prescription was still wrong.
