I came in to get my glasses adjusted again sinve they didn't fix it right the first time and while she was working on my frames, she cracked the arm. Her reaction was like this happens all the time and she got up to look for glue. I told her I was upset about that and she immediately said she's not held liable if she broke my frames. She went to look for another frame and said I would have to pay for it. She didn't do it correctly in the first place. She was supposed to fix the left side and she didn't run it through the machine that heats up the frames to make them pliable. I'm not happy. We called customer care and reported the store. The lady on the phone said she's not aware of any policy where if they break your frames, you have to pay. I should have stayed with Texas State Optical. read more

Shopping for new frames is exhausting, the sales lady assisted me. She reassured me about them, calling them blue, and they were blue until put onto the face, then they were black. I was exhausted and didnt notice they were also shaped almost like cat-eye look. I mentioned the fit across the nose, but was assured it was fine. Ready to leave, I bought into the frames. She did a wonderful job assisting with the lens. I had some questions about the glasses when I picked them up, they felt like they just were not fitting correctly. They felt crooked. I wasn't sure about the frames either, they definitely looked black, not blue when I put them on.She suggested" take them home and try it for a week or two, bring them back if you can't adjust to them. a week later I brought them in, and showed the sales lady how the frames were crooked, they rocked on the table, and that I had kept pushing down on one side all week to straighten them on my face. Then the MANAGER came over and sat down and drilled me with questions, one after the other, even talking down to me saying, well didn't you pick them out? So you dont like the color? Is it the style, or the fit, which is it? She asked each question more than once. I finally asked her why she was drilling me with questions. I dont like anything about them, the color, the fit or the style. She said dont holler at me, I didn't think that I was, but I was getting really upset when she kept asking me one question after the other rudely as if she was drilling me to make me keep them. She said well if it is the fit we can fix it and just exchange the lens, I said no it is also the color and style. She wasnt listening because she kept asking me did you pick them out? Finally, I told her, I dont want them, I dont like them, and got up and went and looked at the frames, I was so upset by then and wanted to leave, so I found a pair as fast as I could, paid the price difference and apologized to her if she thought I was hollering at her,(because I didn't think that I was,, I probably was just getting louder under the stress of being drilled on something I thought was a company policy) she then told me that if I didn't like this new pair that I would have to pay full price to exchange them like this is something that I was going to do over,, or wanted to happen! I was in town, for a funeral and accidentally damaged my glasses, in a panic I found this LensCrafters location and was greeted by Franc and Erica who were amazing! They greeted me with open arms and were very accommodating to repair my glasses. The professionalism and superior customer service will never be forgotten. The worst and most disappointing experience I've ever encountered. I went in the store to pick up a new pair of glasses and immediately noticed they were uneven. I walked around the store while the sales rep worked with my husband and looked in the mirror from a distance to make sure I was not seeing the wrong thing. I asked another rep (who I think was the assistant to manager)what she thought and she Immediately said they were even and explained I should not base my decision on they way the glasses line up with my eyebrows. She did not take the time to really look at my glasses. I felt like she did not care to help me since someone else was working with me. Once the rep finished with my husband I sat back down and she then noticed they were uneven. She worked with them at least 30 minutes and still could not fix them. I went back into the store the next morning and a new rep helped me. She also saw the glasses were uneven. She first tried telling me that sometimes glasses will be uneven and I insisted that I've never had to settle with uneven glasses. Especially for the amount I paid for them. She confined to work on them and finally came to the conclusion that she may not be able to fix them because of all the adjustments made on them. We also discovered a metal piece was coming off the glasses. I decided to have them remade because I was having too many problems with them. I was really bothered by the fact that the rep was told by the "assistant manager" that I could only replace them one time. Even though I bought the replacement warranty. She kept repeating that I could not bring them back if I had problems with the second pair. This is very disheartening being the first pair was a problem created by the store. I was told I had thirty days to have them replaced and it had not been 24 hours. And I also paid for the warranty. So how could any possible future assistance be voided within 24 hours? I'm very disappointed with the service and product received. I have used this company for a few years and never walked out dissatisfied. I'm even less confident about receiving a second pair that will be what I want. I decided to pay the extra money outside of my insurance payment because I felt like I didn't mind paying for something I liked and knew I would wear. An amount which was significantly higher than anticipated. Now I will be stuck with some glasses I cannot notget fixed even though I purchased the warranty. I do not think my husband and I will use Lens Crafters again. I tried going to website suggested but could not log on. Update 2/8/2019 Well, this is my fourth time in Lens Crafters trying to pick up my glasses. I had to get the prescription redone because I could see better through pairs of glasses I had for over three years. When I went back to get my prescription checked I also went in to pick up the pair of frames which needed to be reordered. While doing this I was terribly misquoted regarding the cost to add transition lenses. The rep was not familiar with what she was doing. First she said I had to pay for the warranty a second and finally had to be advised that she misread the quote to add transition lenses. Due to the significant difference I decided against transition lenses. Now I'm here trying to pick up my glasses again. When I walked in the store the store the assistant who was not helping anyone got up from her desk and went to the back. I waited, left the store and sat down, came back in, left the store and went to Sears and came back to finally get some help once the second store rep finished helping another couple. And wouldn't you know, as soon as that rep went to get my glasses the other lady came back to the front of the store and started talking to her. Now this lady is the same one I assumed was the assistant manager on my second trip to the store. (Blue hair). This lady walked to the register to help another customer and was sharp and unfriendly with her response. After several adjustments, finally walked out with straight glasses I could see through.. All thanks to the store rep who helped me pick out the glasses on my first visit. She was the only knowledgeable and pleasant person in that store. The lady with the blue hair was unpleasant and just out right rude. Her presence made me want to walk out with crooked glasses. Thankfully the lady who helped me made me feel like she wanted to make sure my glasses were right. Although she made sure I was satisfied I do not plan to use Lens Crafters. Nor will I refer patients to this facility. I'm very disappointed with the whole process of obtaining new glasses this year. read more

If I could leave a negative amount of stars, I would. Spent a good amount of money on glasses. It took them 3 tries to get my measurements right so that I could see out of the lenses. Less than a year later, the film on the lenses are starting to peel. I've worn glasses for 20 years and this has never happened. Moved to the area and unfortunately lens crafter was my only option that had decent frames. Spoke with the manager and she kept preaching about getting some warranty that I've never had to worry about before. I would literally go anywhere other than this Lenscrafters. read more

Terrible service, very rude service. Opthamolgists were wonderful, other than that it was the worst experience. Ordered contacts that do not fit right and are very blurry. Thier response was if I openend the box there is nothing they can do. It was a huge waste of money, and I cant see. Spend your money somewhere else. read more

I took my daughter here the other day to have an eye exam with the optometrist. The eye exam went fine, no complaints there for the most part. I budgeted for a $10 copay. That's not what happened. I had a $0 copay for the optometrist. Which is fine I guess. I get over to the lens crafters side to get the glasses for my daughter. She picks out a pair, and they tell us its gonna be a $40 copay and I explained that we have had the same insurance for the past 2 years and both my husband and myself paid $10 for everything when we went. She said well this is what the system says. The girl that helped us didn't even offer a warranty for the glasses at all. We had to come back in 1 hr. to get the glasses. Left and came back. They gave us the glasses got home and the next day my daughter breaks the arm of the frame. I called and spoke with some in the store and said that the manager would call me the next morning, never did. I ended up having to call. Spoke with the manager and she said that because I didn't purchase the warranty on the glasses I needed to pay $100 to get a new pair. I wasn't never offered the warranty, and I told her this. She said she spoke with the rep that helped me, and she said that she did offer it and that I declined it. She lied to her boss and me. I would have purchased it if it was offered to me seeing as these are a kids pair of glasses. Now my daughter has not glasses and no way of fixing them. The manager would rather believe her employee over a customer who's daughter needs glasses to see. All I am gonna say is I would rather go somewhere else were the company cares about their customers more and actually helping them. The next time I, my husband or kids need glasses I will choose a different establishment. read more
