Sent pics MULTIPLE TIMES made it VERY CLEAR I wanted someone who was very versed in doing half and half: cornrow braids in the front and see in in the back. Bassy reassured me SEVERAL TIMES that she understood that I wanted someone who could do my hair up to par and high standards. I texted her several times throughout the month to ensure my appointment time was for 9am as I had plans for that day. She confirmed the said specific person would be at the shop. I get there everyone was getting serviced. I had to wait 1 hr plus for said person to arrive which it was Bassy. I've seen on several occasions Bassy's work personally and would never touch my hair!!! Needless to say since my appointment literally was not an appointment I dumbly let her do my hair. She took the blow dryer and raked my scalp several times w the blow dryer causing my scalp to become tender and sensitive to touch. She braided the front of my hair and proceeded to do an install. Bc I was in a rush my hair seemed fine far away but babbbyyyy when I got to evaluate my hair my hair has 100 million flaws plus 1,000 more. This woman literally pulled my hair so tight sewed my hair in soooo tight with thread going everywhere across my head my scalp was BURNING!!!!! There was no uniform pattern it was just criss crossed installed in my hair pulling my scalp and hair! My whole scalp is burning and sore!!! I got my hair done Friday and took this mess out Sunday. I informed Bassy of her half assed below sub par job she did. She literally refused to give $50 back of $200. I refused to let her take out my hair bc she already done enough being so aggressive and handling my very fine hair like I ain't got none. I will never be back to this establishment or refer anyone here and WILL BE REPORTING BASSY TO STATE THIS ESTABLISHMENT TO STATE AND FILING A COMPLAINT ON HER AS WELL! I'm most impressed with the blonde. It is always the perfect color and has never looked unhealthy. Baylee is also very sweet and easy to talk to and her prices are reasonable. My mother goes here and Baylee does her hair as well. My mom buys alot of the Redken hair products and facial stuff too. She says they have a good selection of both. I have never been here for a mani-pedi but my mom loves Candace for this service and recommends her... Maybe it would have been easier to have my mom review the place but it would take her all night to type this much, and she types in all caps and very seldom punctuates.....

I paid for and received a fully syringe of lip filler and was told/ promised that my lips would seem too large immediately after, but within a few days my lips would eventually look more normal. I was not given instructions or information on what type of filler was used nor how to care for my lips after. Even immediately after, my lips were not gorged nor "too" plump. I had bruising and by the 3rd day whatever plump I had went away. I text the salon and asked to make an appointment for a touch up, which was offered by Lisa the injector. I was told if I wanted a more "plump" look I would have to buy another syringe of lip filler at regular cost, no discount. I sent in pics of before and after and they doubled down and said they couldn't do anything for me until I went in. Several times Natalie the manger told me that they offer the "natural" look and that is what they see in my pictures. Well, I feel like my lips today, which is almost 2 weeks, do not look like I had any filler at all. The salon did not do anything to try to get me to come in so they could rectify the problem. They said to come back and then they would decide what the next step would be ----- I could just hear them tell me one more time "you do have the natural look". I decided not to return and will be asking my credit card to reject the transaction.

During the haircut, it became clear that Maddie was having difficulty getting the cut even. Lacey eventually had to step in and help correct and finish the haircut. It was only after this happened that I learned Maddie was still in training and very new. Everyone has to start somewhere, and I understand that. However, I believe I should have been told when I made the appointment that Maddie was still in training. As a customer, I should have been given the choice of whether I wanted a trainee stylist or a more experienced stylist for my granddaughter's haircut. As Maddie struggled to get the haircut even, she stated that my granddaughter had been moving around, which she offered as an explanation for why she was having difficulty getting the hairline even. I was watching the entire haircut closely, and my granddaughter was sitting exceptionally still for a 6-year-old child. What added to my frustration was that Lacey later stated that she could not achieve the dramatic A-line I had requested. I immediately corrected her and explained that I had never requested a dramatic A-line. I had specifically asked for a slight A-line with enough length in the front to be pulled back for school. When Lacey became involved, I politely expressed concern about the undercut because it did not appear to be cut properly. Instead of simply explaining what she was doing, I was told, "I know how to cut hair, ma'am. I can assure you. I'm trying to get it even." The response came across as defensive and snappy. I was not rude or confrontational. I simply had concerns about the haircut and expected a professional explanation. To be fair, the haircut did improve after Lacey stepped in. However, the finished haircut is still uneven from side to side, and there is a noticeable gap in the back. When I pointed this out, I was told that she could not get it even and could not fix the gap at that time. I was advised to let the hair grow out and come back later so it could be corrected. I was also disappointed that I was still expected to pay full price despite the problems with the haircut and the stylist admitting she could not get it even or fix the gap in the back. No discount or adjustment was offered. I chose not to ask for a refund or make a scene because I did not want to upset my granddaughter. I paid for the service, left politely, and did not leave a tip. We had also planned on booking an appointment for my daughter for a pixie cut and color, but after this experience, I no longer feel comfortable trusting this salon with her hair. My granddaughter left happy, which was what mattered most in that moment. However, between the uneven haircut, the visible gap in the back, the lack of transparency about the stylist's experience level, the defensive response when I expressed concerns, and the fact that no attempt was made to adjust the price despite the acknowledged problems, I will not take a chance again and return. I'm sure there are other stylist who are great! however, I am scared of being disappointed again.

When I talked to the woman who administered it I told her I did not want to do too much for my first time, and wanted to start with a very low number because I could always add more. She did not tell me how much she was going to do befpre beginning, and ended up doing way more than we discussed. I had a large knot in between my eyes for over a month at one of the injection sites. I was not happy with the fact that they gave me more than I wanted, which made my treatment double the price I intended to pay. I had a large goose egg in between my eyes for almost 2 months so I went to other places for followup treatments. The other places around town were wonderful, they did as much as they said they were going to, and I never had any lumps or problems. I decided to try health & Wellness again today because they had a May special for $10 a unit, and a quick appointment opening. Today I talked with the practitioner and discussed what I wanted, and past problems with the lump. I told her I usually get 11 units because I've never done more than 11 without an issue. I also prefer a more natural look, and know I can always come back for additional injections once I see how the 11 turn out & settle. She began the injections and then told me that she did eight units alone in between my eyebrows, which is where they gave me the lump before. (Other places I have been to and told about the lump I got there stayed away from that area in general, and only spread out 11-12 along the forehead. ) when I went to pay after the appointment I was told that they used 20 units. That is almost double what I told her I would like to get when we discussed what I would like. Out of two visits here I have had two very questionable experiences with this place and left feeling extremely frustrated both times. It is safe to say that I will never return to Health & Wellness. There are many other places in town that I've had great experiences with, and great results. I thought after so many years I would give them another chance, but after today I will never return.
