I came in for an acrylic fill and pedicure and showed a reference photo of the cat eye nails I wanted. The owner immediately told me they couldn't do cat eye, so I agreed to switch to chrome instead. When the chrome was applied, it wasn't visible at all. I mentioned that I didn't want to pay extra for chrome since there was no noticeable effect. At that point, my nail technician told me they actually could do cat eye and brought over another technician to do it. Unfortunately, the finished nails looked nothing like the inspiration photo, but I accepted that and was ready to move on. The problem came at checkout. I was charged an additional fee for both gel and cat eye. I politely asked the owner to remove the cat eye charge because of the confusion and because the final result wasn't what I requested. Rather than taking any accountability for the miscommunication, he argued with me, talked over me, and insisted I pay the full amount. I've overlooked imperfect nails in the past because everyone makes mistakes. What I can't overlook is poor customer service and refusing to take responsibility for a situation the owner created. After years of being a loyal customer, I expected much better. Unfortunately, because of how I was treated--not because of the nails--I won't be returning.

The environment is the most relaxing with soft music and lighting, and the techs don't make me feel rushed like I do at other places. They spend their time on each part of my manicure and pedicure and check in to make sure I love the color of my nails and that everything is to my liking. The front desk confirmed and repeated aloud kid mani/pedi. So imagine my surprise when I went to pay and was billed for a classic mani and pedi $48. So i asked what age do they consider kids, she stated up to 10. She then guided me to the bottom right corner of the menu that stated this. Completely fine, however as someone who heads an employee and customer experience department, the customer support and fraudulent switching of the service without my acknowledgment is why I am giving them a 1 star. I'm fine to pay whatever the service costs but it is bad business to have a customer fill out a slip selecting the service they want, confirm with them, and then switch the service at checkout. How much effort could it have been to advise me that my 12yo couldn't receive the kid mani/pedi? I would have selected a classic pedi for him only. It's truly the small efforts of basic customer support and honest business that will take businesses a long way. I hope they read this, coach their employees and do better.

I finally said I was done before the timer stopped. When you pay $200 for nails & toes, and extra for massages, you should get what you asked for. Nothing crazy. She wanted a manicure with a simple French tip and one butterfly design, plus a pedicure with gel polish. Before I left, I specifically went inside and asked the man at the front EXACTLY how much everything would cost. I was told $114. I said okay, cool. Even if it ended up around $125 with something small added, I would've understood. We live right down the street, so I left to go feed my other kids. Then I get a text saying the price has gone from $114 to $156. I was already irritated, but I said fine. She's already there, so let's just finish it. Then about 30 minutes later, I get a PHONE CALL saying they didn't have the original product she wanted for her nails, so something had to be changed. Now suddenly the total is $189. ARE YOU SERIOUS?! How do we go from $114 to $156 to $189 for a 15-year-old getting a basic manicure, French tips, one simple design, and a pedicure?! That's a $75 increase from the price I was quoted before I left the salon. My biggest issue isn't even that nail services can be expensive. My issue is that I walked in, ASKED FOR THE PRICE UP FRONT, was given a price, and then that price kept changing after I left and while the services were already being done. That feels completely unacceptable. If something was going to cost extra, that should've been clearly explained BEFORE doing it, especially when you're working on a minor and the parent already asked what the total would be. And for nearly $200, the quality of the work absolutely did not justify the price. I feel like I was taken advantage of, plain and simple. If you decide to come here, I strongly suggest you get every single service and price confirmed before they touch your nails because apparently the price you're quoted at the beginning may not be the price you're expected to pay at the end. (which they probably will not do) I would NOT recommend this business.
