We asked how they could take our money and not be prepared. This is the second year this has happened so we asked for a refund and they refused cuz it wasn't one of their 3 reasons for a refund. We've gone back and forth with everyone who works there. BRIAN, CARLOS AND LESLIE. We got no where, and Leslie hung up on us because she didn't want to deal with it. Poor quality of service. What's sad is the kids miss out!

I'm not a big fan of Play It Again Sports because of the high prices. That's right, Play It Again Sports has high prices! IMO, used sports equipment should be priced lower than the prices you find at big box stores like a Walmart, or even at Big 5. I admit that Play It Again Sports have lower prices than the same gear bought new. My view is these prices should be significantly lower than new equipment, not just a little lower than new. That's what I saw when I visited those three stores. It's not surprising that I haven't purchased many items (maybe 3) from Play It Again Sports, and I could've easily bought 10X that, from golf clubs to baseball gloves/bats to weights. Not only did he donate that piece of equipment to help the disabled, his knowledge to help me select other pieces of equipment to develop a great program for these individuals with mental disabilities is phenomenal. He assured me that he would give me the best price for additional equipment to stay within my budget to create a great experience for Howard Prep. Chris is a man with integrity, family valleys, and working for the community. We need more people like him in this world.

The staff that works not professional at all including their referees & ref coordinator. We had an incident today the ref that they had didn't have any knowledge of soccer. Brought it up to the coordinator they just laughed at our face and said it happens. As a parent we expect to have professional or at least ref that knows what they are calling. Pointing at parents faces is not the right way for a coordinator to speak to a parent and telling them they should ref the next game while having a smirk in their face. They need to work on professionalism.

First, whoever is responsible for maintaining the pools and hot tub isn't doing the job well. Over the past few months, I haven't experienced clean water a single time. The hot tub rarely has more than a couple working jets, and it's been that way for as long as I can remember. The pool behind the hot tub, which is usually cold, is now covered with green stuff and mold, leaves, and other debris. It's not only unpleasant, it raises serious concerns about cleanliness and maintenance. No one should have to wonder whether the water is safe to swim or relax in. The rest of the facility isn't much better. The gym itself is frequently dirty, and it often feels like basic cleaning is being neglected. Equipment is also regularly out of service, with broken machines sitting for extended periods with notes on them before they're repaired. When you're paying for a membership, you expect equipment to work and the facility to be clean. Management needs to prioritize maintenance, cleanliness, and timely repairs. Right now, it feels like those basics are being ignored and I can't recommend this gym based on the conditions.

This park has bongos!…read more Nice sized playground with fun equipment in excellent condition along with regular swings and baby swings. Clean and safe bathroom and lots of trees. Nice layout with some short walking paths meandering through trees. Also did I mention that it has bongos? For extra fun you can ride bikes or scooters with your littles on the Hetch Hetchy Trail adjacent to the park. You'll roast in the summer in the afternoon here so morning and evening visits are advised.

We showed up at around 1 PM on Sunday, August 23rd, but little did I realize that this park was located in a pretty nice little community. The park was empty when we first showed up so we had the whole place to ourselves. The teenage boys had a great time playing basketball while the younger kids played on the playground. My brother-in-law brought a kid's archery set to let the kids shoot and the open space was perfect for it. A few people showed up a little later and the place didn't feel as empty anymore. The park is very nice and clean. The bathrooms were open, even though there were caution tapes on the playground, which people had already ripped off. It was surprisingly clean for a public park restroom.

This is a medium sized park in the area, and the space can be used for many different thing. First,…read moreif you are driving or walking by, you'll notice that trees ring the park. This is really nice because it provides shaded areas to hangout in without obstructing the open are. In this tree lined area there is a pick nick table area that is easily accessible from the street, and there has to be almost 10 tables. So, plenty to go around. There are also 2 BBQ pits on opposite sides of the table area. The playground is also within or by the shaded ring area. So, parents bring your kids and let them play while you chill in the shade. There is also a basketball court, and a beach volleyball court. I think you have to get a hold of the Parks and Recreation division of the City of Modesto because there is a lock on the gate for the volleyball court. One of the best parts of this park is the very large open space that they have. I have driven by this park on the weekend and have seen multiple kids soccer games going on at the same time. Also, ultimate frizz bee and football are excellent uses of this open space. I was there this morning and a guy was chucking a ball for his dog. This space is large enough for a multitude of different activities to go on at the same time. There are also bus stops that run along this park, so if you want to use public transport to get here, that is an option. I give this park 5 stars because a park is what you make of it, and there is a lot of potential here. So, come here and have a good time and make use of this park.
