A lovely park with a lot to offer!…read more The Dry Creek Trail runs through many parks along the Dry Creek in Modesto. There are miles of trails, both paved and unpaved, where you can stroll, run, and bike. It is very dog friendly too! There are some very nice fenced-in tennis courts, playgrounds, and picnic tables which make for fun for the whole family. If you are into disc golf, there is a huge course throughout the park. Some of the baskets are placed right on the creek's edge, so you have to make sure you have good aim! There are some pretty bridges that overlook the creek and make for gorgeous photos when the leaves turn in fall. At the trailhead at East La Loma Park, there is a large parking lot with parking along the leading road. Even though there is plenty of light along the trail, I would avoid coming by after dark because the area can attract some homeless people. Regardless, this is a great park and community asset!

Has hidden beauties! The trail is nice for a bike ride! Smooth path and not too much incline! My…read morefiancé and I played a bit of frisbee golf! However most of the disk golf track is overgrown with weeds and grass. Looked like half of the trail hadn't been mowed or maintained in at least a year! Closer to the actual park is more kept up. Along the creek we did find this older man who seemed to be intoxicated SCREAMING at people who were trying to enjoy their time at the park. We will definitely be going back and hopefully no interruptions like that along our ride next time!

Really this is a decent sized park for your kids to run around and play at. We had a 'end of school…read moreyear' BBQ here last may for the kindergarten classes and with the coverd gazebo and 2 large BBQ pits and about 8 tables it's worked out well. There are Two baseball fields, surrounding the park that has seating of bleachers but no Kim of shade area. A basketball court, with more mature trees for those that like to watch and hang out and of course the bathrooms. During baseball and softball season the snack bar is open for you to get the usual snack of nachos, drinks, ice real and even a snow cone during those hot Central Valley days. The surronding area is just under a mile around so in the mornings, folks like to walk around the 'track' for some excercise with a friend or alone. Centrally located in the heart of a developed and older neighborhood you can fell safe to do so in the morning and even dawn. I just wouldn't recommend after dark as way to many sketchy type of people like to hang around doing god knows what. Open from dusk till dawn Monday to Friday. Not bad spot being your little ones from some playtime while you sit under the gazebo or find some shade to read a book or watch YouTube videos on your phone. Really wish that The City Of Riverbank would put more thought and care into its surronding and older areas like this park to do more and help make it more family friendly. Crossroads Silva park is beautiful and very well mainted but these smaller parks barely get the attention it deserves to make it flourish the way it could.

We were searching for a decent park with shade to relax at & found this park. Not bad. Nicely…read moredone, covered patio area with tables. Also several benches, some shaded. Seemed to be a quiet, decent neighbourhood too. We needed a place for my 1 1/2 year old to burn some energy! It offered Toddler swings and a small rocket shaped play gym. All in good condition. Also a Play gym for big kids, a tunnel slide and wavy slide. I liked seeing the old school Tire swing they had too ! Not to many parks have those. It was clean, nice pavement, garbage cans to throw your mess and it seemed to be well kept. It must be a notorious area for the local community baseball games too. It had a diamond field and concession stand on site as well. Go Riverbank, City of Action!
