It was a little bit of a drive for us, but definitely worth it. We had a group of about 8 and rented a cabana, which I HIGHLY recommend. The cabanas are spacious, shaded, and made it so nice to have a place to relax between getting in the water. Check-in was easy, and they got everyone set up with wristbands, water shoes, life jackets, and a safety briefing pretty quickly. The Aqua Park was SO much fun, but that water is COLD! It definitely took some courage to get in, and the climbing/jumping is actually a serious workout. The kids absolutely loved it, and everyone in our group had a blast. We also ordered food while we were there, and honestly, no complaints! The food was really good, and having it delivered right to our cabana was such a nice convenience. There's also a kids' splash area, BBQ areas, RV camping, fishing, and dogs are allowed. The bathrooms are pretty basic, and there are porta-potties with handwashing stations near the Aqua Park. We went on the last weekend of the season, so it wasn't crowded, which made the experience even better. Overall, we had a fabulous time and would definitely come back! Instead of driving, we decided to paddleboard over from our campsite. It's about $50 to spend the day there. We arrived and noticed they had lakeside cabanas to rent for $180, but all the cabanas were booked so we rented two lounge chairs and a small table in the shade for $30. After you sign a waiver, you pay for a wristband, get fitted with a provided life vest, and attend a short safety briefing. Then you get in the very cold water, and swim over to the inflatable water park. Much of it is like an obstacle course. The entire park is inflatable so if you do not like walking on unstable surfaces, this is not for you. There were people there of all ages. The more agile and adventurous you are the more fun you will have. They have water slides of all sizes, jumps, monkey bars, climbing walls, and so much more. You do have to swim from attraction to attraction, but eventually get used to the cold water. It was challenging for me, but my friends had an absolute blast jumping off of the high platforms and going down the huge waterslide. They also had an area where you can relax on huge inflatable loungers. You can bring your own food and snacks, or even BBQ. They also have a café with food, and they sell beer as well. If you have ever watched the television show Wipeout, and wanted to try it, this is the place for you!

Our room wasn't supposed to be ready until 4 PM, but we got a text around 1 PM letting us know it was ready early, which was a nice surprise! We spent the afternoon swimming and having fun at the water park before heading back to our room. For lunch, we grabbed burgers at Bucket Burgers. It was a little pricey, but honestly, that's kind of expected when you're eating on-site. We booked the Grizzly Room and were pleasantly surprised by how much space we had. It had TWO full bathrooms, which was such a huge plus for our family! Everything was clean and nicely maintained. There were so many fun things to do that we honestly didn't even take that many pictures because we were too busy enjoying ourselves Overall, we had a great time celebrating our daughter's birthday. A couple of suggestions. Read the rules. It is clear that outside food or drink are not allowed. Neither are street clothes, as they are a safety hazard in public or shared pools. If people sneak stuff in without the staff knowing, then that is on them. I have seen people be asked to leave for sneaking alcohol in. I have never seen the staff there demand anyone throw anything away. They offer to let you walk it back to your car. Again, had you read the rules, you would have known this. In order to keep facilities like these affordable, the rules must be enforced. The insurance rates will sky rocket when there are claims because someone got hurt by a drunk patron. I used to work in Government, and this is the case with all facilities. Also, the wave has a lot of young people working there in their first job. They are learning how to work and be adults, show them some kindness. Lastly, please take an English class. As a Hispanic, I have worked hard to overcome people's negative viewpoints about us being uneducated and ignorant. Your review doesn't help in that regard.

The larger water slides were closed, which was the main reason we wanted to come here but didn't get to experience. Had they mentioned on their website that the slides were not available, we would have planned a different day or brought younger kids instead of the big kids. The cabanas were not held down by anything and it was a windy day, I almost got hit by the cabana flying. Maybe have them closed and when someone does purchase it is when you would open them up for the guest. I don't know if people really reserved any cabanas but a few were being used but closer to closing time so I don't think they really reserved them and people just sat there since it isn't getting checked in my opinion. I don't miss like that bathrooms are available in the front and back of the park. The front bathrooms in the check in area have lockers and showers. There is also a bathing suit spin dryer. It seems for the lockers that if you bring your own pad lock you can store your things if needed. It's great they allow you to bring in food but not in coolers but bagged food take out is ok. There is also food available for purchase in the back. Treats and desserts in the front middle of the water park. Parking is shared with the community building not close to the entrance. So for my disabled friends like me, we had to walk even from a disabled parking spot. The park does provide tables and chairs. The cement picnic tables in front are near the treats vendor store. I don't recall what type of tables are in the back near the food but there were more there and by the kid's splash pad area. I would like to return when the large slides are open but I call next year and find out till then.
