My husband ordered the pork belly burnt ends with Mac and cheese and baked beans. They had some really good jazz music playing in the background. The husband and wife were very helpful with questions about the menu, even warning about the spice level. She brought our food out, they gave me green beans instead, they were out of the greens. My wings were nice and spicy. Mac and cheese was a bit dry, so was the cornbread, but had good flavor. My husband liked his burnt ends. He said the baked beans were sweet, tasted good. I had the pulled pork dinner. To judge BBQ I always like to taste the meat before adding the sauce, and this was possibly the best I've ever had. Good smokey flavor, don't really need the sauce, which is very good also. The beans were flavorful and sweet and the mac and cheese was very good. The only problem, $15, without drink, is a bit more than I want to spend for a quick lunch. Here's my detailed report: The Pulled Pork: Seasoned well and super tender, definitely quality recipe, but again just lacking in portion size. **The bun that came with it was just cold, fresh out of the bag. If these were homemade or at least buttered and toasted it would have elevated the meal so much more. The barbecue sauce that came with it was average The Fried Chicken: The fried chicken was pretty good, chicken was moist, but lacked flavor, the breading was very good. The Cornbread: Something about the consistency isn't quite right. True southern cornbread should be slightly crispy at the top and dense in the center, my piece crumbled all over the place, it was barely a muffin consistency (some people may like that, just wasn't my preference) Service: The service is just kind of sub-par- I wish someone would have come by and asked how everything was or if they could help me with anything else. The server also handed me an (already opened) set of utensils and I was having lunch with another person so we had to go back up and ask for 2 sets since we both obviously weren't planning on eating with our hands. This place is incredible. In my opinion, hands down the best food truck in Lincoln. Definitely the best BBQ. The brisket just melts, and the ribs and chicken are seasoned perfectly, you don't even need sauce. But here's the thing, you NEED to try their spicy sauce.
