This was good fried chicken! Yummy! In addition to the chicken, we also had some really good Onion Rings and their Corn Cheese. Both were really good. To finish our meal, we had the Ube Latte and Pistachio Silvanas. These delicious treats were the perfect finish to a good meal! If you like crispy fried chicken, you'll love the food at this place. My family and friend dining with us all said their pieces were indeed very crispy! I guess it depends on which piece and how evenly coated the batter is. The onion rings and cheese corn were ok. We originally wanted to get the Kids meal for my 4yo, but it wasn't available yet. My husband also ordered a chibap but it was forgotten, it was late as the wait time for the food was quite long as the staff get used to peak meal times, so we didn't ask/remind; but it was not on the bill at the end. I remember there was a Church's at Brimley and Sheppard in Scarborough many years ago and then they disappeared, all of them. I'm kinda glad they came back. I opted for a mix of spicy and original recipe, and got two pieces of leg and a huge piece of breast meat. Not bad. As expected, the chicken was hot, fresh, crispy, and delicious!. These pieces had just come out of the fryer and were really good! The biscuit and fries were equally good but the fries were a lot less than anticipated. This particular location has an awkward layout, with the main entrance on the corner of the building, steps away from a busy major intersection. The service counter is angled towards the entrance, which is okay for pedestrian traffic. This layout, however, creates blind spots for most of the dining room and also the entrance to/from the parking lot. The service provided by the two young ladies at the counter was good - friendly and courteous. While I was dining, however, the conversation in the kitchen got rather loud. Very unprofessional and inappropriate. Takeout might have been a better option.
