I can't get enough of the Nashville potato wedges... and normally I don't like potatoes, not to mention the Nashville Big Mary!

Really enjoyed the brisket and ribs -- perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Overall, a fun spot and definitely worth a return visit. Saluti

Lancaster Smokehouse is a local favorite, we typically do pickups as they are really busy. But this…read moretime we ate in. The parking lots is usually full, but there is free street parking across the road. Just drive around and see where everyone is parking. The smokehouse has large seating on the ground floor and event space on the upper. There are lots of tables and booths to seat any party size, they also take reservations. We went with 6 people and all around us were groups. The main area seems to be able to sit 50+ at least. Service staff are great, they refill and provide all the containers you'll need to get going. We ordered the Family Deal and couldn't finish. Most people have take out bags when they leave. It's that type of place. - we got the 1 lb pulled pork, 6 smoked chicken wings, beef brisket, and full rack of ribs - mac & cheese, red beans & rice, dilly coleslaw - sweet potato fries, and tater tots It took about 30+ mins for the food to come out since they needed to put everything together. We finished maybe 40% of it. The rest were another two meals at home. Over the years, the price has gone up considerably, but the quality and quantity is still a great value. Definitely bring a group and any visitors from out of town. From previous visits their pig tails, sausage are also great. My favorite is the ribs, mac & cheese, red beans & rice, and the tater tots though. Definitely will need to try their fried chicken and Back of House pizza (attached outside for takeout only) next time.

Big D’s Hot Chicken - D's Tikka Sandwich

Big D’s Hot Chicken

I went here because of the glowing reviews and was kinda let down. My boyfriend and I entered and…read morewe were the only ones in line and the guy just pointed to the self serve machine and told us to order there, which is no problem. We got our food and it was steaming hot which was nice. I got the two piece tender combo and the tender was extremely tender and easy to cut through. It did fall apart too easily though and the breading was a bit too crumbly. The fries are just okay, they got hard really quickly though and lowkey unpleasant to eat once they did. The seasoning on the tender was underwhelming and was too salty at some parts and plain at others. The price was pretty good though! I just think there's better options for hot chicken.

The chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy and tender on the inside. Just like me. Spice level medium was hardly spicy - I'll go full hot next time. The tikka slaw was great, rich in spice and added a creamy counterpoint to the crispy bits. The pickles are sweet and also suit the sando perfect. Service was quick and kind. There's a bit of seating inside and a few tables in the street, but this is more of a grab and go spot if you ask me. I went to Kitchener and I got the Big D.
