It doesn't matter what kind of work you do, I guarantee you that you have knots in your neck, back and numerous other spots on your body thats causing tension, headaches and hindering good posture. Luciens hands are MAGIC! I seriously felt like he put a spell on those stubborn knots that were causing me discomfort and made them melt away. I could LITERALLY feel the knot he was focusing on in my neck and he worked them with a combination of his hands, a little roller tool and arm movement to free up that knot. He used a great analogy "These knots are like rocks, we are working them into pebbles and then into fine sand" In addition to this analogy, when he had released several other stubborn "rocks and pebbles" not only did I feel as fluid as sand, I felt such a release like the sea had just washed over my body! Sounds wild right!! Who wouldn't want that kind of release? I can feel the difference, my neck moves better, my shoulders aren't scrunched up to my ears, my upper back feels stable but relaxed. I swear I feel like my arms are longer just from getting rid of all those "rocks" thats were stiffening my body up! We understand that we had booked for an hour and that if we hadn't, someone else could have filled that slot. It's hard to find people who are good working on older people. This one really works only on younger people - it's not therapeutic ---- she's more of a recreational day spa type.

I was paying him to hold space and treat me. I was hoping to rest. This was not restful. It was traumatizing as I said I have a history of SA. I had this neck pain for a really long time... I got multiple rounds of acupuncture for at least 6 months to a year and it never got better. I work from home so I gotten alot of knots and I believe some of the knots on my knees or somewhere was pulling on my muscles and causing pain my neck and shoulders. I called the day before to specifically request someone who would actually massage my back instead of walking on it because my back was really sore. When the therapist came in, I explained the same thing to her, and she said okay. Instead, she spent the session walking on my back and arms and then doing fire cupping. She wasn't even going to use oil to give me an actual massage! When I finally asked her, "So you're not going to use oil and actually massage me?" she said, "Not today. Maybe next time." I was so upset because I paid $185 expecting a real massage, not someone walking on my back and arms and doing fire cupping. After I expressed my frustration, she eventually rubbed some oil on me for a few minutes, but it felt like when I rub lotion on my arms in the morning. It was not an actual massage! I specifically explained what I wanted before my appointment and again when I arrived, yet my request was completely ignored. I should not have to ask repeatedly for the service I paid for, and I certainly should not be told that I can get an actual massage next time when I'm already paying $185 for one today. After almost five years of being a loyal customer, I am extremely disappointed. This is not the service I expected, and I will never spend my money here again. Zero stars if I could.
