One of my mother's travel bags was left on the bus coming from Philadelphia to Allentown, due to the bus driver detaching her two travel bags. A nice gentleman at the Scranton location named Mike retrieved her bag and put it away. He left detailed instructions for Cynthia to put the travel bag on the first bus the next morning, heading out of their location and to Allentown. My mother and I were to meet the bus and grab the bag. He also asked that Cynthia give us a call to let us know that the bag was on the bus and heading to the Allentown location. When we did not receive a call from Cynthia, we called her regarding the bag. As soon as my mother told her who she was, Cynthia disconnected the call. When we called back, Cynthia claimed that there was an issue with the phone and commenced to lie about why she didn't put the travel bag on the bus. She claimed to not know what was going on even after reading the instructions that were left for her by Mike. She claimed to have plans on calling but never called. She claimed to be in the middle of figuring out what she needed to do. She told my mother that she had to wait until the next day to get her bag. Cynthia clearly tried to hold the bag at her location an additional day. I'm sure she had plans on going through the bag and stealing something because she went out of her way to ensure the bag did get on the bus. We had to take a Lyft an hour away to get the travel bag. This company is horrible, so Cynthia will likely not be reprimanded for her shady behavior.

When I got on to the bus in Scranton heading to Wilkes-Barre, the senior citizen/disabled seats on the right of the bus were pulled up and strapped. The opposite side someone had scattered plastic bag and dirty rags all over them. Sitting on another seat next to my friend was very uncomfortable I moved the rags and plastic bag over so I could sit in the senior citizen seating. A man who appeared to be instructing the driver came over to me and started to yell at me and chastise me for touching his stuff and moving his stuff. He ranted on and on until I stopped him by saying that "I am a senior citizen and I'm sitting in a senior citizens seat". There was no obvious need for the other seats to be pulled up and strapped in and there was no obvious need for him to take up three seats with plastic bag and rags. He seem to need the last word because he kept ranting on ' don't be touchin mah stuff's. Arriving at the bus station in Wilkes-Barre I found it to be plastered with pigeon droppings and messy construction. The teller behind the glass was unable to answer any questions about bus routes. In fact she had to Google it.

I dealt with Coleen - who is supposed to be their Operations Manager, someone named Melissa, and another extremely ignorant individual in the morning. My Mother and I were scheduled to ride to day-two of a three-day dialysis training session at her usual dialysis facility. 1. The driver was late, and despite my literally standing on the sidewalk and waving, she passe me. Didn't even slow down. I KNOW she saw me, as her head turned. She turned around, came back and said she couldn't see my house number. 2. Once on the bus, she said our drop-off was on 315. Wrong. When we told her the correct info she said she had to call dispatch. Dispatch said to bring us, so she backed out of our driveway, and began driving to Wegmans to drop off another passenger. Once on the road dispatch said she had to take us to the (wrong) location. Then the driver asked if she should wait in the parking lot while they figured it out. I asked what the holdup was, because who would arbitrarily just decide to go to Dialysis? With a snide tone, she replied that the orders were "faxed", so they had to get the change in writing from whoever paid for our ride." After about ten minutes, dispatch said they could take us to dialysis. 3. About 10 minutes into my mother's treatment, a VERY nasty lady called literally yelling (The nursing staff looked and even wondered why their dispatch was so rude) and said they were sending someone to get us because they "talked to Geisinger" and we are "at the wrong place." I told her we were at the right place. (I used to bring my mom 4x a week to this same place. All of her appointments are at this same place.) She became louder and insisted we had to leave. 4. The Nurse talked to Geisinger got it all settled and confirmed TWICE (once in the morning at once at about 2:00 when the training was over) that we were to be on the 3:45-4:15 pick-up 5. No one shows. When we call I first get melissa who insists that Geisinger "canceled" and I had to speak to them. I told her we already talked to them, and confirmed our pick up time. I then asked for her manager, who was just as rude as the other two women I spoke to there and the driver - her name is Coleen "The operations manager". Who yelled the same thing. 6. We called Geisinger, and they reconfirmed what they originally said. They also had no notes of a canceled ride for us either. (If they DID it would be marked in our account.) I gave my contact number to Geisinger, and they called back to let me know that they would b picking my mother and I up within the next few minutes. All this happened after they did not come at all to pick up my mother yesterday, and canceled her return trip. Local officials will be hearing from me too.

Then the owner said it was fees charged by the credit card company. So here we have a 92 year old veteran that through not fault of his own was rushed to the hospital the night before his transport and has been denied $50 of his $143 payment. I would not recommend doing business with this company. Your told one thing by the person taking the calls and another by the owner. You took the money with no problem but to get a full refund you suddenly have "policies".

The night before my father was taken by ambulance to the hospital. I called touch of kindness and explained this. What we thought was an overnight stay turned into a 5 days at the hospital. Upon discharge the hospital made transportation arrangements. They don't use private transport I was told. I reached out to Touch of Kindness 3 times for a refund of $143 for which I was told would be no problem. They refunded $93 . When I called to ask about the other $50 I was told it was the deductible. I told the person on the phone to have the owner call me which didn't happen. At no time was I told I would not receive a full refund. For this reason I would not recommend this company. They performed no service and charged a 92 year old man for this.
