Unbelievable food! I was so happy to have found this place. My daughter-in-law is expecting her first child and all she was craving was Italian food. Great choice here. The food was fresh, plentiful, and tasty. The gnocchi was cooked and then sautéed (I'm assuming). It had a crispy outer section that was a great surprise. The side of meatballs were cooked through and through. Sometimes a larger meatball won't be completely done on the inside. Not here-it was cooked but still juicy. The restaurant is clean. The service was outstanding. We will definitely be back.

Shrimp Alfredo

Very good! Fiancé got the lasagna and loved it. Food came quick and service was great.

If I could give no stars I would. I went a few years ago and the service, ambiance, and food was amazing. 2024....it was poor at best. The restaurant smelled like a smokehouse, it was so strong. My eyes were on fire from the smoke in the building by the time we left. Server was in and out, spent much time looking around the restaurant for her. The food was the worst part. I had shrimp Alfredo and it looked great, but tasted like lake water...a sip from Toledo bend is equivalent to ordering their Alfredo....i get shrimp is fishy but...the noodles were so overcooked they were mush... My husband got spaghetti...easy meal but it tasted like water with a hint of tomato. When mixing the spaghetti together there was a layer of water under the noodles... For 66.00 I could've really had a feast at McDonald's and it wouldn't been 10x better.

Wow! This has a nice relaxed atmosphere. There are a couple of TVs over the bar with ball games and news on to watch. You can see the brick oven from the dining area. Our waitress was very attentive and refilled our drinks several times. The dishes we ordered were: Hen Pecked Pizza - easily best pizza ever! Lots of flavor, Alfredo based with drizzled white sauce over top Pepperoni Pizza - a solid pepperoni pizza Penne el Pesto - so delicious! Shrimp and Grits - very good with a different twist, not your traditional dish We will definitely be returning here with our family. Thank you for a good family dinner after a long day of fishing!

This place is phenomenal. Crazy to think it is located right in the middle of a small town in Louisiana. Fantastic food, wonderful service, and a great environment. You won't be disappointed. They have great hours of operation, so they stay open pretty late. Wonderful outside space to eat and drink! Definitely check it out. We will be going here every time we stop in at Toledo Bend.

Best pizza I have had in some time! They're red sauce is fantastic, pizza has a wonderful garlic butter taste, perfectly fired in a brick oven. Very ambient and lovely service.

Service was mediocre. It was VERY loud. Food was overpriced for what it was. My partner ordered the pork chop and it was overcooked and dry.

Boy was she right! "Good food and affordable prices," she said. We started with a house salad and garlic rolls. The usual iceberg greens, red onion, cheese, and good dressing made each tasty. Tea was flavorful, too. I had cannelloni with meat, cheese, and spinach. Oh, my! Another of our party had shrimp Alfredo with rich sauce and plump shrimp. The lasagna was spot on and all were sized, piping hot portions even for lunch. All were around $10.99. Surprise, we dined for less than $50 including tip. Wow! Gentie, the owner's nephew came around to check on us and visit sharing stories about his recent visit home to Italy. Delightful young man! There were loads of dessert offerings, but our to-go plates evidenced no room for any. We will DEFINITELY return to Joe's. I cannot wait to share an experience with my family.

I went with a fairly large group, and we all ordered some type of pasta dish. Our pasta was all mushy and overcooked, and the flavor of my piccata tasted off, like the wrong ratio of ingredients was used. The waiter tried his best, but he seemed extremely confused while taking our orders though everything came out without a problem.

After exploring…read moretown we wanted a beer and went to Yelp (as we always do) for direction to the best breweries in town. Flying Heart was #1 so we chose it. It did not disappoint! Our server, Vivian, was so personable and knowledgeable. We could tell instantly that she loves what she does! A storm was coming in so we decided to just stay and enjoy ourselves. Over the course of a couple of hours we enjoyed the Firehouse Blonde, fantastic pretzel bites and then fell in love with the Day Wrecker Pilsner We left that afternoon with a growler of Day Wrecker, a t-shirt and a resolve to tell anybody who visits Natchitoches to make sure they visit Flying Heart and ask for Vivian - she's a 10 out of five! I arrived around dinner and searched for a spot a solo diner wouldn't be oout of place. I like breweries and this seemed like the perfect fit. Located in what appeared to be an old warehouse, the space is massive. Normally that would mean poor service, super loud people, and other issues. The last giant warehouse brewery I went to involved getting your own food and barley being able to ehar yourself think. Flying Heart broke that mold. Dining is traditional restaurant style. My server was great. He was friendly, made recommendations, and ensured I had everything I needed. While slightly loud, the place was packed and it was not overwhelming. For food, I decided to try their pizza and was impressed. I still think Bayou Teche beats them brewery pizza wise, but this was a solid pizza. If you are in Natchitoches, I encourage you to come to Flying Heart.
