Superior burgers, great daily specials, and the steak was good. Friendly service, clean, plenty of room.

I've been to Billy B's about 3 different times now when I stop through to visit my mom. The food is…read morealways delicious. You'd pass it right by if you don't know the area. They have ample friendly staff members available. The place is always clean and relaxed. That makes a good environment for woofing down some loaded baked potato, seafood gumbo, catfish, (what we had), or whatever they are offering. We were a little sad we didn't get the crawfish étouffée that's usually on the menu, but what we did have made us very happy and put a smile on our bellies I'm sure. Haha. I'll most likely stop back in when i return to Mansfield.

Oooooh this was some good. I was traveling from Shreveport…read moresouth and as I was getting close to Mansfield, I was hungry as it was 1:00pm. That McDs sausage biscuit at 6:30 was long gone. I did a quick Yelp search of restaurants in the area and Billy B's Cajun Grill was at the top of the list so that's where I headed, and since it on the side of 171, easy to get to. Go in, get me a half n half tea. Menu had a lot of options non- Cajun - burgers, Tex-Mex, steaks, CFS-, but if Cajun is in your name, well that narrows it down for me. What, no shrimp n grits on the menu? So I went with the smothered catfish - blackened on a bed of dirty rice and smothered in crawfish étouffée. OMG this was so good. So good in fact that I had to get an extra 2 hush puppies to soak up all that goodness. The waitress so nice to oblige that last minute request. So if you're in the area, don't pass on this one.

Ummm where to start??Should've known pulling up at 6pm on a Saturday eve and no cars in parking…read morelot. We should have walked out when saw glass door that was so dirty with finger prints and everything else u hardly could see inside. Saw a few takeout orders come in and out so we reluctantly then Ordered food at counter to then be told after sitting down they were out of what I ordered so I had to order something different. Sat down at table which was so sticky my forearms stuck to it, napkin holder on table was so dusty my finger left mark when drug it across it. Place looked like it had never been cleaned or updated in years. Lights above had bugs galore in lightcover, floors/baseboards dirty, fans above on their last leg/blades. Windows also needed cleaning. By then I still wanted to walk out but I needed to see what the food was like. Trying to give benefit of doubt. Service very slow, looked short staffed. Hoping they washed hands at some point no gloves used with server taking orders, collecting money and touching food/cooking in plain view. When food arrived it looked ok until I tasted the coleslaw it was very bad, looked discolored and tasted old needless to say didn't eat it after one bite, my husband spit his out, then came the fried fish, I wasn't impressed no flavor parts of fish was just batter no meat, also the batter didn't stay on onion rings so as soon as u picked them up batter would fall off onion, Hush puppies tasted old not fresh, definitely frozen great value brand or worse. Didn't finish our meal and that's not like my husband he always finishes. Everything tasted same probably fried all in same grease. Still can't believe we stayed and (ate what we could)of the food. I hope they improve if read this, we like to support local businesses that's why we decided to try COUNTRY BOYS but unfortunately we won't be back. I should've read reviews before I went , last review was awhile back not sure what happened ugh

Glad we ate in; I shudder to think what it would've been like if we got it to go. I would go back for the onion rings, but that's about it. Bare but clean ambiance. Could be a great place again, but freshly cooked food is a prerequisite.
