I visited my daughter this weekend and we ate here. The food was great. Everything we tried was very good. I had the fried catfish and it was crispy and such a good flavor. They have a very good buffet and salad bar as well. For 4 of us the total after the tip was $115. This may seem high but there was a ridiculous amount of food. We had it for supper that evening and still had food left over. So if you don't want lots of leftovers, split a plate of your favorite. The service was amazing and it has very comfy rustic vibes. Stopped in first time for the lunch buffet while in town for a fishing trip. Needless to say we were Very impressed to say the least! Great staff/service which is very rare these days!! The salad bar, fried fish, fries,hush puppies were outstanding. Best fried fish! Enjoyed looking at all the "big catch" fish pictures on wall. I wish we had room for dessert, I'll be sure to save room next time, the homemade pies looked amazing! The food is absolutely delicious, the service is always great and the staff are fantastic. We wanted hot and fresh food after a ballgame, so we hurried out there and they were more than happy to cook us fresh meals. This was our first time eating at this place. By looking at the parking lot, you will think that the place is packed and there would be a long wait. The restaurant is actually a lot bigger than led to believe. You have to sign the waiting list yourself. We went in and one couple was ahead of my wife and I and if it wasn't for a family coming in behind us asking if we signed in, we would have never know that all the people that work there looking at you don't check you in. We waited for a couple minutes then we were seated. They offer a buffet style all you can eat seafood dinner and a salad bar for $18.95. While the salad bar is self-serve and very fresh. The seafood bar is not self-serve. The food was very salty and dry but the servers will definitely keep your drinks full. We weren't too impressed with this place, especially for the money you pay to eat there. read more

This is an average restaurant with ok service. I could tell our waitress was over worked and handling too many tables, but she was nice and friendly. The food is always the same and there are no surprises. The country setting is good for a lunch meal but sometimes could get crowded. Meals are pretty inexpensive and you get large portions. The country fried steak was good and everything else pretty average. I would go back for sure. This was our 3rd time here so we enjoy this place. read more

The "cat head" size biscuits are sooooo good, huge and fluffy and are even better topped with the white pepper gravy!, bacon is good and crispy! Stayed right up the street for a few months and ate here at least twice a week.. they have fantastic burgers! The salad bar is also great! My only issue is I feel like they could do a better job trying to distance their customers from one another during this pandemic. especially during weekends when they're packed. They have no problem sitting tables right next to each other and I e watched tables leave and bus boys not take the time to wipe off salt and pepper shakers etc.. They have a gumbo hat looked amazing with seafood cornbread dressing but it had no flavor and the shrimp were so overlooked they were mushy.
