these guys did a great job moving a piano from my neighbor's house to mine in Issaquah. I found a couple piano moving companies from web and called them for quotes. One company charges flat rate, and this company gives estimates. Given the short moving distance this one is cheaper, but I was a bit suspicious as I heard lots of stories before about moving companies charge more than their quotes. It turned out that my worries were un-necessary -their quote is very reliable. I'm also very pleased by their friendly manner. They provide super services with good price. I will definitely recommend them to my friends, and use them in the future. Signed up on Yelp just to give this feedback. I know how it is when using a service that you never use before. I just wrote a review for this company under the heading of Martinson Piano Moving and Storage as well. I had an old upright piano in my basement that came with the house, and now I needed to send it to someone who would love it....These movers came (4 very nice strong men) and moved this piano with amazing ease despite odd corners, narrow steep stairs (1/2 inch on either side to spare!) and having to zig-zag through the kitchen doors. They did a fantastic job and very were nice as well. I would highly recommend this company for moving pianos! Fantastic job done by all! read more

These guys exceeded my expectations - gave me a call to let me know when they were an hour away and showed up promptly with the right number of people for the narrow stairs I'd mentioned over the phone. Watching them move my new 6'1" grand (yay!) was awesome. They were clearly professional and experienced; they treated the piano (and my walls and floor) respectfully and carefully, and they were very fast and friendly. And they worked together like a machine. Should I need to move the piano, I will definitely call them again. (I originally stuck this review under "Gable/Martinson Piano Moving" in Bellevue, but moved it to here since I think they're based in Everett and that was the number I'd called; not sure if it matters. We have been repeat customers over the years. This latest move left much to be desired. This was a first floor, wide-open move with ample room to slide the small upright piano along a pathway between stairs and the back of a sofa to its final destination 2 feet away against a wall. One of the movers complained about having no space and told me that my daughter and I would have to move the sofa instead. Really? I've seen their movers in the past take the same piano up two flights of stairs and literally turn it on a dime to get it around a railing - **WITHOUT** complaints!! He finally came around whe the other mover and I convinced him moving the sofa was totally unnecessary. He was entirely unprofessional and we will not hire Martinson again. read more

These guys blew me away. My beautiful steinway was getting moved from my old house with a difficult curved stairway to my new home, with a very tight path and staircase. They proved their expertise in both strength and technical piano moving. They had inches to work with in one of the stairwells, and their team of 5 didn't allow a single scratch on the walls or the piano! Plus, they came in well below their estimates bid. This company went the extra mile in moving our piano. We left a voice message and received a call back in a couple of days and they scheduled the move. I am a bit of an absent minded professor and on the day of the move I completely forgot the appointment! When they called from my house (I was at work) I was so embarrassed but they put me at ease and told me not to worry about it. I told them where the spare key was hidden, they went inside, and moved the piano from the main floor to the basement. They even took off the stair handrails and put them back on after they were complete with the move. I was supposed to have done that myself. When I arrived home that afternoon there was the piano in the basement, the handrails were on properly, the carpet on the stairs was clean (meaning they did not track any dirt into the house), and they had left their invoice. I had agreed to pay them when they moved the piano but since I had forgotten I could not. So I mailed them a check.
