“Fisher was incredibly kind; she clearly wanted to set my mind at ease (she did) just as much as she wanted to fix that tooth (she did that, too).”

**They Cured My 20-Year Dental Phobia in One Visit!**…read more To know me is to know that the dentist is one place I prefer to avoid. Truthfully, I hadn't been to one in a very, very long time. But when I recently cracked a tooth and began experiencing pain, I knew it would only get worse. My wife encouraged me to finally face my fear and use the extraction as an opportunity to get back to regular dental visits. Having just enrolled in new insurance, I searched the provider directory and chose Kowalski Dental cause I liked the name. I called and explained to the receptionist that I would soon be traveling for work, and the team graciously squeezed me in the very next morning. As a tech guy, I was extremely impressed by the efficient new-patient intake process. All the forms and consent documents arrived by text, allowing me to complete everything online before my appointment. When I arrived at the Beverly office, I noticed immediately before I even walked through the door that everyone seemed to be having a genuinely good day. The staff members were smiling and laughing, and I was welcomed warmly. The appointment I had been dreading was already off to a good start. The office was also absolutely spotless and when I got to the room to be seen I noticed right away that dental tech had changed so much since the last time I had been. After my X-rays, Dr. Kowalski evaluated the cracked tooth and carefully reviewed the images for any other potential concerns. He clearly explained everything he saw and what needed to be done right away. I reluctantly agreed to have the cracked molar, which also had an abscess, extracted. Thanks to plenty of Novocain, I didn't feel a thing during the short procedure. The entire experience was fantastic. Dr. Kowalski and his team were friendly, professional, and reassuring throughout my visit. I've already scheduled a full cleaning and evaluation for next week, and I'm genuinely looking forward to working with them to restore my dental health. If you live in the Groveland or Beverly area and are looking for a dentist, or considering making a change, I highly recommend Kowalski Dental. They completely changed my opinion of going to the dentist and cured more than 20 years of dental anxiety in a single visit!

She would t bring the doctor back in and said "he put the floss through it" crown made on site and overlaps my gums in one spot which aggravates it. When I made another appointment to have this addressed I was kept at work for forced OT called to cancel and received a letter telling me I was welcome back. Horrible and that tooth needs to be redone.

I could tell Dr. Paul was being gentle and thorough. Best dentist I've had hands down. Very knowledgeable and very kind. I'm actually looking forward to my next appointment. The worst dentist office I ever been to. They had me go to have tooth removed and when I went to…read morehave the tooth extracted they mentioned why it was being removed in the first place and not being treated and saved. This office seems to be all about money minus the actual kind of care and the treatment to help people get their dental care needs met they don't offer much else but waste your time and your insurance companies money for care that they don't even provide aside from the initial cleaning service they do cleaning services and they also provide the care that is not covered and expensive and unnecessary for patients, but aren't willing to actually give them real time and attention to fix the problems they are experiencing and don't care about saving teeth they care about charging the insurance companies even when they don't do any care They will clean your teeth however that's the extent of the care you will likely receive if you need any other kind of work done they don't care to help they will however book your cleaning within weeks and they don't have the time to book a filling thats 4 to 6 months out smh and they do offer the option of an extractions, unfortunately they aren't willing to provide that in their office they will likely send you elsewhere to have extractions provided , however thankfully for me the Dr whom was to do my extraction looked at my X-ray and was honest with me and asked why I was having my tooth removed and not getting any kind of saving treatment done on it and thankfully I switched my dentist to a different office and I still have that tooth that they would have had me get it extracted and it was not at that point and level of having it be extracted, but thankfully their are still good dentist out there that don't just care about the money only and they actually care for the people they bill without hesitation and sometimes without any actual care provided and i was hesitant to make this post but **if it saves someone else's time and unnecessary stress and pain it's worth the effort because this offices only interested in money minus the actual quality care involved they are not a good option for most people who need more than a cleaning kind of care but if you have the kind of teeth that only need cleanings and just the yearly cleanings than This is alright, an maybe to do unnecessary procedures that are expensive and not even covered by insurance companies because they aren't even necessary in the first place but if you can pay out of pocket for them then you got yourself a good chance at getting those needs met here, but If you need real care and want more than a polishing treatment and yearly cleaning kind of experience then go elsewhere .

I used to scoff at those unfortunates who fear dentists. Then it happened to me- the awful…read moreexperience- and I vowed to never ever visit the dentist again unless under heavy sedation. Fast forwarded a year and a half later and I was in total dental agony. Bullied by my coworkers who were tired of listening to my moaning and groaning, I called up Gentle Dental of Beverly and they fit me in that afternoon. I was trembling when the hygienist called my name and led me to the chair and I blurted out, "I'm in agony, but I'm even more scared of the dentist!" and told my traumatizing story of having my teeth drilled by a dentist who was too impatient to let the novocaine take effect. The hygienist was very sweet and assured me that in her 5+ years of working with Dr. Malmquist she had never seen a patient have a miserable experience. I also learned from her that there are different techniques to applying novocaine and that a good dentist would take the time to ensure that I was properly numb. After x-rays, Dr. Malmquist came into the room and introduced himself. Dr. Malmquist was very calm and soothing, took the time to explain the work that needed to be done and listened to my fears and concerns. Also, before I made a decision about whether to proceed with the work, one of the office staff came back with a print out of cost estimates. I decided to proceed and reminded Dr. Malmquist once again that whatever the last dentist had done with the novocaine hadn't worked. As soon as Dr. Malmquist applied the novocaine to my mouth I felt instant relief from my week long tooth ache. He let the novocaine work for a few minutes before drilling. I tensed expectantly while he was drilling, waiting for the pain that never came. In five minutes, he was done, fixing the minor cavity that had caused me so much pain and I never felt a thing. Thanks to Dr. Malmquist and the staff at Beverly Gentle Dental, I can once again count myself amongst the lucky few who "don't fear the dentist." (And the best part- the staff at Beverly Gentle Dental called my ex-dentist and broke up with them for me and arranged for my records to be sent over!)

Been going to them for a couple years and they have some serious issues with administrative…read moredisorganization. I've had multiple cleanings that needed to be rescheduled 3-4 times. The last straw: I went in for a cleaning in March and they turned me away because of a health problem I had in February, and they said I had to wait 6 months or get a letter from my doctor. That part is fine and understandable, and I got a letter from my doctor saying I'm clear after 3 months. However, when I went back in early June the showed me a form that I needed to have my doctor sign, because the doctor letter was from March. I had never seen this form before , and if they provided me the form in March they would have been able to treat me at my appointment in June. Anyway, they're just very unprofessional and disorganized and I don't recommend them.
