The experience with this office begins when you meet their wonderful receptionist who instantly makes you feel comfortable on the phone and in person.
I do suffer from PTSD when visiting the dentist and doctor and this office clearly caters to those patient's who are somewhat anxious or apprehensive about dental cleanings and procedures. I went in for my cleaning today and was terrified from my last cleaning at another practice but I forced myself to go and was pleasantly surprised by all the little special touches to make me feel comfortable.
I was seated in the most amazing dental chair, which I instantly realized was a MASSAGE dental chair. Soft music played on the radio and a scented candle was burning. Talk about feng shui, whoever thought you would find it at the dentist office? You can, here in Beverly. (I think you might have to request the special massage chair.) Additionally, the waiting room is especially warm and inviting as well, with the comfortable chairs and artwork and Nadine always goes above and beyond to accommodate.
During the X-Rays my anxiety dissipated by 50% because the chair had such an amazing calming effect. During the cleaning, the hygienist Kristen, who is amazing as well, used this modernized water tool which eliminated any additional scraping by 95%. WOW!!! If you are looking for an incredible hygienist, look no further. The cleaning was professional, quick and painless. By the end of my cleaning, I felt like I had some kind of spa treatment, it sounds funny but it's true, I left there massaged and with super clean teeth.
The staff is kind, friendly, and instantly will put you at ease, no matter what dental care you need. I do not need any procedures now, but I like knowing I have a great dental practice to go to if something does come up, I know I will receive care from a kind, immaculate practice whose extremely high standards of patient care compare to none.
I originally met the doctor, Dr Kuljic six months ago after my previous dental office tried to tell me I needed a root canal, and another dental procedure. After meeting with Dr Kuljic he reassured me that those procedures were not, in fact necessary. I like knowing that a doctor will be honest with me when laying out all my options.
I have a great deal of admiration and respect for my new dentist and have complete trust in him. Plus, I love his sense of humor! When I filled out the paperwork I mentioned I have PTSD, and the first thing the doctor asked was how they can make me feel comfortable.
If you are afraid of the dentist, don't be, just go to Kuljic DDS and team and you will never have a cause to fear dental care/treatment again!! read more
