His rates were reasonable for a ~2000 square ft apartment and he always came with a colleague so between the two of them they were done quickly. He was pretty flexible with scheduling, I usually just texted him a week or so before I needed a cleaning to determine a time that worked for both of us. Added bonus that my cat absolutely adored Reg. Any time he came over Moose would flop over on his back for some belly rubs and followed him around as he cleaned. He's a pretty friendly cat but I have never seen him take to a stranger so thoroughly so quickly. Animals are great judges of character so you know Reg is a great guy! Usually I had Reg come in the morning so I could let him in and then left for work and trusted him to lock the door when he left. It was never an issue, I always returned from work at the end of the day to a spotless and a properly locked up apartment. Unfortunately I moved so I'm no longer working with Reg but if I ever end up living north of Boston again I will definitely rehire him.

I hired Fenway Cleaning Services for a move-in deep clean of an empty apartment. Before booking, I…read moreexplained that the kitchen was especially greasy and needed extra attention. I specifically asked that the tops of the cabinet doors be cleaned and was assured that essentially everything that could be cleaned would be cleaned. After the first cleaning, I found grease on cabinet surfaces, dirty floors, and several other missed areas. The company scheduled a re-clean, acknowledging that this was unusual and that the cleaner was "having a bad day." I again pointed out the missed areas, including the tops of the cabinet doors, but the second cleaner arrived without a ladder or step stool and asked if I had one to borrow. Even after the re-clean, many of the same areas remained dirty. The company ultimately issued a full refund, which I appreciate. However, I still spent hours cleaning the apartment myself to the standard I expected from a professional cleaning service using nothing more than basic cleaning supplies that I purchased at Home Depot. I was able to clean every area I had identified as needing additional attention without specialized products or equipment. Given the company's consistently positive reviews, I was honestly in disbelief that this was my experience. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Fenway Cleaning Services for a move-in deep clean.

I've been a professional house cleaner I used to work for Merry Maids a couple of decades ago I know prices went up on things since then but I also know there's no heavy cleaning in my apartment there's no stove refrigerator to clean no dusting from the waist up no dusting little things No bed making, no laundry, no dishes.. just vacuum two rooms' low pile carpet, vacuum the bathroom and kitchenette, mop kit and bath floors, clean the tub disinfect the toilet all that comes to $150? Way overpriced if you ask me and its an easy 1 hour job. I specifically told them not to clean the oven don't clean the refrigerator maybe I clean the refrigerator once cuz I pretty much wipe it down myself and I don't use the oven. I'm sure they probably clean well but not $150 for the tiny 2 room studio I am in.
