That was my first turn off. I finally got the price I originally wanted was offered. Evelyn a manager in the office was trying to be impressive with her saleswoman skills and over charge at the get-go. Then the back and forth with the "Manager/owner" I like to promote locally, but I also like fair pricing. I shouldn't have to put my foot down, just two ladies coming to an agreement. Stef cleans methods are the same as what I would do, if I was doing it myself. She takes her time and gets the job done right the first time. Over the years, I have had many different cleaners from different cleaning companies, however, Stef does not even rate near the others, she gets an A+ in my eyes. If I have a special request, dust under the bureaus as you can see the dust from the other side of the room, I have never seen dust again. My dad made my kitchen table, she knows how special it is and she takes the extra few minutes to make sure it shines every time she is at the house. I could go on and on, as she is the best. Anyone that wants the job done right the first time, ask for Stef.

Well, they took my deep clean money ($300 with tip) and did NOT do a deep clean job. So many of the things they said they'd do, they didn't do. They were 30 min past 4 so only cleaned for 1.5 hours. So much dust left everywhere, notable dirt left in places that should have been swept, many surfaces left uncleaned, lots of implements in the bathroom not cleaned at all. Didn't wipe down the sink or its cabinets. Found stuff shoved under a rug in my living room/pushed under my sink. Just not at all "deep clean" quality. I should have refused to pay full price but I felt bad. Either way, would not recommend this group, their work is shoddy/inconsistent at best.

I also asked them to stop contacting us as our email address must have gotten on their email list by mistake. They then started contacting us through the chat feature on our website asking if they could stop by to give us a quote to clean our office. You've got to be kidding me! This has gone from spam emails to flat out harassment. This is not the way to find new clients!

However, they spoke no English and used a phone app to communicate. (You speak into the phone, they read the Portuguese that's generated, then they speak into the phone and it spits out English. Who knows how accurate it is.) I lived in a foreign country for 6 years and while I wasn't fluent, I had some proficiency in the language... admittedly I worked in an industry where people spoke English, but for day-to-day things I was glad I could read and handle basic conversations. (This was pre-smart phone.) I'd love to hire Rose's Cleaning for their organizing service, but can't imagine how you'd do that with someone you couldn't talk to. They get good reviews for that, so maybe I'll try it. I'm skeptical but interested. If all you need is cleaning it probably doesn't matter that no one can speak to each other without a phone translator. Their work was beautiful and they were punctual and polite. Edilene's team of 2 women did some things very well as part of their deep cleaning, and they did one careless thing that damaged a family heirloom. The team did an amazing job on our kitchen floor. I hadn't thought it was possible to get it to look as good as it did after they finished. The team generally did a good job on other things, so I gave both cleaners a cash tip when they left. However, the team's carelessness damaged--and they hid the damage to--a vintage table that my late mother had refinished for me. After the team left, I removed a mat that the cleaners had placed in a new spot. Underneath, I found a whitish stain in the shape of the bottom of a cleaning-supply bottle. I told Edilene on June 7. She sent her cleaners over to try to fix it by applying Orange-Glo to it, but that did not fix it. Then, she offered to have her brother come over to sand and paint it. However, the table actually needs to be stained by a professional. I contacted Edilene's insurance company. The person there told me that her company is not covered for damage done during the course of its work. I then contacted a furniture restorer with a photograph for an estimate of the cost to fix the table. On June 20, I contacted Edilene with the furniture restorer's estimate to see if she would pay for the fix. On July 1, she said she would pay me to have the damage fixed. As of July 22, she had not paid me despite my repeated text message exchanges with her.
