I feel compelled to offer up an objective review after reading several below, and also being a…read moresmall business owning-family ourselves. I'll state simply - sometimes companies have growing pains at first or while transitioning in new team members and while it is regretful and no one wants to be on the receiving end, in my experience I find it hard to not be understanding when thoughtful accommodations are made to the customers to rectify any situations where people feel like a mistake has been made. I also find it easy to be understanding when the work that is being done FAR outweighs any scheduling conflicts or miscommunications, not that I have ever really dealt with that, but it sounds like others have to some degree. That being said, this culture of "the customer is always right" has, in my opinion, led to a lot of people thinking they are owed the world, and owed it for free at that, when things aren't up to their sometimes or often unrealistic expectations. I am the mother of five young children and we also have a giant, hairy dog. As you can imagine, I need all the help I can get! We've been though several cleaning companies and I think in the beginning, it is my experience that there is always a short amount of "getting to know you" time where they learn what is important to you in terms of your cleaning priorities, as well as learn to navigate the ins and outs of your home - all while balancing that knowledge with the countless other homes they're simultaneously managing. Questions SHOULD be asked, bc not everyone has the same needs. The reason we've been through several companies is that the first two shut down their businesses and the last I actually had to fire (a first for me, because even after several months, she never seemed to "learn" what it was that we wanted done and continuously mentioned that she wasn't being paid enough to do things so just stopped doing them - even though the price was set by her.) We moved on and have been EXTREMELY pleased, as have the many friends we have recommended this service to. I do think that a level of patience is necessary when hiring any new service professional, just in terms of letting them get to really understand what your exact priorities are. But this doesn't mean that I think you have to accept subpar service, and I can say unequivocally, that is not at all what I have EVER received from Kelly nor would I expect anyone else I've referred to her to receive either. I think there are those that will come home and find a missed spot on the floor (you know, those ones that disappear when the floor is wet from being freshly mopped but show back up later when it dries) and will then go off the rails about bad service but people aren't robots, and having been in the service sector before, I know that sometimes customers can be too demanding to even be worth it. This isn't the usual type of review I'd write where I just go on about how great Busy Ladies are - WHICH THEY ARE - but only because I came on to review them and happened to notice some negative feedback below and felt the need to offer my perspective on the matter, for whatever that's worth. In life, sometimes things happen beyond a professional's control and if they offer a solution but it doesn't work for you or you're too angry to accept it, it doesn't negate the fact that they DID offer a solution, and it makes me sad to think a woman trying to support herself and her family would suffer because of such a thing. I will go back to my normal review style and say that I think they do a GREAT JOB! I have a house that is a handful to clean for anyone and I'm ALWAYS left pleased and have been for 2+ YEARS NOW. I would hire them for my mom, I would recommend them to friends, and I have. I just hope people realize it is a business run by humans and humans are by nature, prone to error at times, even small errors. Luckily, I have not had to deal with any from Kelly and crew so I do sympathize with those that have however from what i see below, it seems like every time, she always tried to make it better or come up with a solution and just because that solution was declined, doesn't mean it wasn't there. If you want a clean house and you want it done by friendly, trustworthy, kind people who always arrive with a smile on their faces, and who know your children by name and say hello to each of them and take the time to let the little kids pretend to help clean or ask them a million questions without getting frustrated like some can do, then this is the kind of company you're looking for. Perfection, in any profession, is not something that can or should be expected so it pains me to think that someone who has been nothing but wonderful in my family home would be negatively reviewed for not being so. But while perfection may be a silly thing to expect, professionalism and the best job possible is not, and that is EXACTLY what you CAN and WILL get with Kelly and her crew. Keep up the great work, guys!!!

Summary: Do not recommend and will not use again. Unsatisfactory cleaning. Poor customer service…read more In a commoditized industry, such as cleaning services, where one can go anywhere, customer service is what separates one company from another and drives customer loyalty. Unfortunately, I will take my business elsewhere in the future. Background: Hired Busy Ladies to perform a move-in cleaning on a new home. Authorized up to 4 hours of cleaning and would approve addition time if required. Specifically requested that cleaning focus on the insides of cabinets and closets. After providing instructions, I left the property and returned two days later. Cleaning review: The home had been partially cleaned and there were several areas that received a cursory, and not thorough, cleaning. The cleaners missed several big items including an entire section of cabinets in the kitchen (16 to be exact), sections of shelves undusted, and completely missed the faucets in one tub. I spent an additional 2 hours cleaning to complete the job they didn't do. Customer service review: I worked with the owner, Kelly, in an effort to resolve an unsatisfactory service. Kelly offered a $60 discount on future service. I was expecting an offer to complete the work that was partially completed instead of an invitation to reuse a company that has already provided substandard service. Good: - Scheduling was over the phone and easy to coordinate. - 3 workers that I worked with were very pleasant. Bad: - Quality of cleaning - Customer service

Simply amazing. I am a first time customer and hooked. I used to think hiring a cleaning service or…read moremaid was a luxury, and unnecessary, because "I could do it myself". I also used to find cleaning enjoyable and even therapeutic. Well, then I found a career I LOVE that just so happened to require 60-80/hr weeks, and learned what a misery it is to have the choice between living in a constantly dirty house, or spending the little free time I did have constantly catching up on cleaning. Not sure which is worse. I did that for about a year and change before finally realizing whatever money it cost was WELL worth the QUALITY OF LIFE hiring someone would give me. After my first time, what a confirmation. I shopped around quite a bit, found companies with sketchy arguments online between owner and customers, found companies that were eco-friendly but refused to do certain (basic?) tasks because of this- I love the idea of being green, but what's the point of paying someone if you still have to do half of it yourself?... and even found apps that seemed convenient but required crazy contracts. I knew of several independent cleaners that friends and family used, but didn't want to have that personal attachment that sometimes can be a burden to do business with (feeling bad if you have to cancel, feeling bad for getting annoyed if they cancel, feeling bad about complaints etc). I knew MaidPro by name, didn't think much of it, but when I visited the website and saw their EXTENSIVE checklist they complete every visit, I knew that's what I wanted- Peace of mind that everything is done. I mean, that's the whole point right? Pricing is also very reasonable, and the ease of service (don't have to be home if you don't want to, and so many convenient options for payment) plus no contract required made the deal even better. The service itself- the bottom line of course- was immaculate. George came to my home- sorry I'd didn't get to meet him, I would have hugged him! My house hadn't had a deep cleaning in over a year, and truth be told (the shame!) hadn't had even a regular cleaning in months, except basics like dishes, laundry, toilet, sinks, and wiping the counter. I almost cried when I walked in to a sparkling house down to every detail. Since it had been so long, I also requested the blinds to be cleaned, the fridge, and inside the stove- I still can't believe they're all clean. Even though I skimmed their checklist, I must have missed a few, because what a happy shock to see my bed made like a hotel, and even the coffee cup and spoon I left in the sink that morning had been washed. George left us a nice note, a completed checklist, and -at long last- a beautiful house to come home to. And there is not many greater, lovely, comfy feelings of contentment than putting your feet up in a clean home. I even got a call the next day from the office to follow up on how my cleaning was (which of course I've been working too much to respond to, lol, but now will). What thorough, caring service from start to finish. So happy I found this company. I will not be looking anywhere else, and even though they don't require a contract, they have my loyalty.
