Pros: scheduled appointment on short notice Cons: we had to wait 45 mins past the scheduled time The cleaning was terrible we requested move in service but all they did was vaccum the floor Refrigerator was not touched, when we asked they sprayed the cleaning solution but didnt wipe it down fully Oven was left dirty, when we showed the oven they simply blamed each other The closest was dirty Window blinds has dust which was not touched in 1 floor. When we complained to Antonio about the service he promised to send the cleaners back but never came. Our texts went unanswered. We waited for call or any kind of information but never happened. I received a response the next day and my house was immediately cleaned. Two weeks later, the same thing has happened, no cleaning, and no response. Antonio was so reassuring during our phone conversation. I was moving from a condo I lived in for 37 years and leaving so many memories was sad but the work of cleaning it up after emptying the place hung over my head. Antonio told me not to worry and that I would be very happy with the job. His crew of 3 transformed cobwebs, dust bunnies, dirt on doors, carpets, floors and baseboards to a spotless living environment. The kitchen and bathrooms were transformed. I wish I had taken pictures BEFORE my crew came, but I have left 11 photos of the results of their beautiful work. My broker was totally amazed, and after 4 hours of open house, she received many comments on the cleanliness of the condo. She anticipates an offer by tomorrow and has not scheduled any further open house tours. I gave her Shamrock contact info and I will leave the info with my neighbors and our condo association. I left a message for Antonio that he should raise the price for this beautiful work. ... In my hubmle opinion , by at least $100 for starters. We gave this company several tries to get it right and they just couldn't get it done. We hired them for a deep cleaning for move in with a flat rate of $300. According to the website and confirmed with the owner, this cleaning is top to bottom with every corner, drawer, window etc. Our house was empty when they did this first cleaning so it should have been pretty straightforward. They missed just about every corner, there were still cobwebs, dirty windows and drawers, the baseboards weren't cleaned, walls weren't dusted (pics) as promised. They skipped 1 room all together. This first cleaning had a crew of about 3-4 people, all of which were not wearing a mask. When we brought up all these concerns they returned 1 month later to clean everything again. This time was a little better but still didn't dust everything and skipped the mudroom which was filthy. Both times they forgot to bring a tool to dust off the walls as promised. They're going to come back for a 3rd time just for that but we gave up and will do it ourselves. I would never pay that amount of $$ again for this cleaning read more

I wish I read these reviews prior to my landlord telling me he had booked them for a move out deep clean. My landlord booked this cleaning company to do a deep clean in early June. I took time out of my day to let them in so they could get the job as my landlord lives out of town. They showed up in the late afternoon on a friday (around 5pm) and I was surprised to see only 2 people were going to do the job as it needed a lot of cleaning. They told me two other people were joining so there would be 4 total. The two other people never showed up so there were only two of them. I left for a bit to run a few errands and not be in their way and I came back and they were gone. The apartment was filthy. I took pictures and called Antonio who said he'd send them back. The same people came back and it was a bit better when they left but I still had my own cleaning people come prior to move in because they did such a poor job. It was nice that Antonio had them come back however he never even called or followed up to see if the job was done well. You would think that a company would take a move-in/move out deep cleaning as an opportunity to get a potential long-term client. Shamrock cleaning does not do this. They do the quickest work possible and cleaning is not their specialty. I could never recommend them for cleaning services. Its been over a month and i'm still so upset by the services they provided that I feel it is my duty to warn others of this terrible experience. read more

I have been using Shamrock Cleaners now for almost 4 years! THey are just amazing! The last crew I had this week- was the best I have ever had- with Patricia as the head girl- Seriously incredible. I use them on an "as needed " schedule- which works great for me- and I love the fact that Antonio- the owner- can always send a crew out- for example 2 years ago- there was a toilet overflowing plumbing incident- that just affected that bathroom- but he had a girl there within a few hours to just get that taken care of- really great I would HIGHLY recommend them!! read more

They do not come for the cleaning at their scheduled time (sometimes showing up randomly on a completely different day). It's also very difficult to get a hold of someone on the phone. Amazing job!! So much better, & more affordable, than the leading 'chain' companies! We just got a standard first time cleaning & they did a better, & more affordable, job compared to that of other well-known companies. Other companies will charge a first-time deep clean, charging additionally for items such as the windows & refrigerator. Customer service is respectful & accommodating. Definitely recommend if you need a cleaning. They even picked up all of the toys (we have 2. toddlers) from under the couches & cleaned!! Very impressed! Like many of the other reviews we had used them for years. In the past year the service had gone down. They would come really late or not show up. We would contact them and they would come the next day. Eventually they just stopped showing up completely. We hired new cleaners. 3 months later they randomly texted and said they would be there the next day. We told them not to come because we hired new cleaners. read more

I contacted Shamrock as they had done a cleaning for me in April 2020, and I needed cleaning with quick turnaround. We had agreed to a 12pm-2pm window, but an hour before the appointment I received a message that the info I had provided was inaccurate and they weren't interested in working with me. Called them and agreed to a time later in the day, and was told they would come at 1am. After speaking with my tenant, rescheduled for the following morning at 10am, and was expecting a call from Antonio to provide CC info to hold the appt. Never received a call, and the morning of the appt he did not answer my text messages, phone calls, or Yelp messages. Cleaners never showed up. Ended up finding a different cleaner who could accommodate on a short turnaround. Would not recommend Shamrock and will not be contacting them to clean my apartment ever again. read more

Bottom line: Not worth the $140 they charged for cleaning my small apartment (500 sq ft). Moved to Boston for the summer and our temporary apartment was filthy. I picked Shamrock because I thought they would do a thorough cleaning. Antonio mentioned on the phone that his crew cleaned floor to ceiling, plus inside of the windows - which was a selling point since the windows are filthy. Left visible dust throughout bedroom and living room; Kitchen wasn't cleaned at all. Watched them spray a bunch of cleaner on appliances but didn't go over things with a rag to actually pick-up the dust/grime. Never touched the windows. Unfortunately I had to be on a work call while they were finishing up so I only noticed how dirty the place was afterwards. I found dirt/grime still left in the dishwasher - a simple wipe with a rag was all it took to remove which tells me they didn't even touch it after spraying it with cleaner. I hate to leave this review since Antonio seemed like a genuinely nice person when we spoke about scheduling a cleaning. It seems like others are pleased with Shamrock's services, so maybe it depends on the team you get to clean your place (Antonio was not present for my cleaning). Just had Antonios crew come by to clean a 3 bedroom one bath 2nd floor apartment in a townhouse in Brookline. Expensive, Easy to book n decent communication however... First they showed up an hour late, it snowed this morning but no call or anything. They missed the top of every door frame so alot of dust left behind, the shower drain was not cleaned, and I was not impressed with the inside oven cleaning. I don't feel like im being a stickler, because At the rate, $250 for about 2 hours of work, I expected much better results. This was Too expensive for the quality I received. Others may have had better experiences & a better rate but this was just my experience. Your move *UPDATE: i spoke with Antonio and he has vowed to make it up to me. I hate the fact that I'm writing this.... I thought this would be a great experience as this was a referral and my first time hiring cleaners but I was mistaken. Prior to moving into my new home, I wanted a thorough deep cleaning. The house was already pretty clean and very empty, I just wanted the cleaners to focus on the bedrooms, bathroom, cabinets, windows etc, and I expressed that to Anotonio. I walked him through the house and pointed out all the areas. A deep clean on an empty house. Pretty straight-forward. Well, the day came...I walked the cleaners around the house and pointed all the areas that needed to be cleaned. Timing: Cleaners are not punctual. They arrived about a 45 minutes late. Kitchen: Counters/Cabinets still dirty with residue from wiping down. Basically, they just pushed the dirt around, and there was still quite a bit of dirt and dust on these things. Blinds dirty. Windows had streaks. All places which were obvious to clean if you were doing a thorough cleaning. They didn't even touch the tip-out drawer. Bathroom: Toilet still visibly dirty. Floors: They vacummed what they could but I could still see dog hair in the corners. Very upsetting. After the women left I did a quick look around and was pretty annoyed that they only did a quick cleaning, and did not do a deep clean as promised. I called Antonio and explained what I found. I also sent him pictures. He was very nice and told me that he would send the women back to finish the job at 2:30. I waited for 30 minutes and they did not show up. I recieved a text from Antonio (after waiting for 30 minutes) that they were running late and would not be able to make it until later in the day. At that point, I was fuming! I decided to pay for the service and did not take him up on his offer for a re-do. If I had been more assertive I would have held back the payment until the place was properly cleaned (which it never was). I like Antonio's responsiveness and willingness to re-do a poorly executed job, but at every level, I don't think the job, for its pricing, qualified as deep cleaning and was already disgusted by the lack of promptness. I really cannot recommend Shamrocks service if I didn't receive the service that it was meant to be. This was my first time relying on someone else to clean my property and frankly my last time. read more

I thought this would be a great experience based on the reviews, but I was mistaken! I emailed with Antonio several times before my appointment, including the day before where we confirmed a 10am appointment. At 10:30 I called because nobody had shown up, and he said he didn't have me on the calendar, but then saw my name and said the cleaners were on their way. The cleaning crew arrived at 11... An hour late. I requested to have all the drawers and cabinets cleaned because we just moved in and I wanted it all clean before I put my plates, etc in the cabinets and drawers. The crew did an okay job of cleaning everything. However after they left I noticed that only a quarter cabinets in the kitchen were cleaned really well... And it's the ones I saw them doing (the rest of the time I was chasing my one-year-old, or painting other rooms). They didn't touch half of them and did a poor job on the last quarter of them. On top of that the floors were mopped, but our socks are still getting filthy, so it obviously wasn't mopped well. Antonio gave me a discount for being late, which I appreciate (and frankly it's why they're getting two stars instead of one) but I tipped the cleaners, poorly assuming they had cleaned all the cabinets as good as the one that were cleaned when I was watching. Bottom line, I wish I had taken more time to examine the work, and no I would not hire them again. read more

Amazing!! Shamrock Cleaning is the best! Prior to a parent and in-law visit, I found myself running out of time to clean the apartment and needed to book a last minute cleaning. I found Shamrock on Yelp, and though I had trouble reaching them initially via email, I found Antonio to be extremely responsive by text. I was able to book them for a Saturday with only 2 days notice. Antonio was extremely flexible and easy to work with and the cost was amazing compared to other quotes I had received. They showed up in a group of 3 people and we left to get lunch and run errands. We were told they'll just let themselves out when they're done and then we can call Anthony to settle up at our convenience. So easy! We returned from lunch to a sparkling apartment. I am very picky and inspect corners and little nooks that I would expect to be missed, but I honestly could not find a thing to complain about. Even the inside of our refrigerator was sparkling clean, and that was included in the cost of a basic cleaning! I called Anthony and gave him a credit card number over the phone. It's a pleasure to come home to a clean house, and his rates are very reasonable. Amazing job in 1 hour with his co-worker. Had him come on June 18 and used a Groupon which he gave me 20 dollars off of for arriving late. They mopped, did all the radiators for vacuuming, and did a wonderful job with the bathroom and the bedroom. Overall, I would highly recommend. He does text confirmation and you can call easily; very nice and professional. Felt totally comfortable leaving my apartment for the hour to do errands while he cleaned the entire place. After my hasty 1 star review for no response to my inquiry, Antonio from Shamrock Cleaning called me several times until he reached me. When we did speak he apologized profusely and offered me a huge discount if I would allow his team to come and clean my family room & 3/4 bathroom downstairs...mind you, this is sight-unseen! I am turning my downstairs living area into a place for my niece, & it was a MESS! It had not been used for anything other than storage for the last 15 years. Furthermore, the oil burner was located in the same area, so the walls and ceilings were exceptionally filthy. Antonio and his team arrived the next morning at 8:15 as promised, and I left to do errands. When Antonio called me to return, I was amazed. They did an incredible job of cleaning everything! The walls, floor and ceiling were bright and shiny making the room look brand new! Shamrock Cleaning even organized other "stuff" that I had left laying around, thus making it easier for me to deal with when I got back. I used these guys a few years ago to clean my apartment prior to move-in. I was hoping they'd really aggressively clean the stained/splattered kitchen floors; use oven cleaner on grease build up; or even get grime out of the toilet. They treated it as more of a maintenance clean despite my requests. Mostly scented floor cleaner and dusting. I was so disappointed that I still remember this business 4 years later. We've had Shamrock do a seasonal deep clean of our 2 bedroom apartment for nearly 2 years now and every time, it's incredible - and beyond the obvious cleaning of major things, it's the little touches - like wrapping our robes up just like a hotel would, or placing our blanket stylishly on the end of the couch with other items carefully organized to look great. It's part-cleaning, part decorating! We recently became regular monthly clients, getting a cleaning every 3 weeks and while at first I thought "this is too indulgent for a little apartment" the amount of STRESS and TIME it's saved us is so worth the cost - which by the way, is very reasonable for the amount of care we receive. Antonio runs a great ship and his crew is always kind, courteous and our space is left dazzling.
