So as the deadline slowly creeped up I panicked. I grabbed the phone and called Sotelo. These guys came by to check the house the same day, sent me an estimate that evening and began the next morning. They worked 12-14 hour days 4 days straight to finish my house in time for listing. They were extremely polite and helpful, even offering to help me move furniture around the house when it was too heavy for me to do alone. I can tell you how impressed I was with their work ethic and the final product. I found a couple spots that needed adjustments and without complaint or hesitation they jumped right on it. I know what a hard job it was and how stressful it had to be for them with the time constraints but they guys were above and beyond what I could have hoped for. I will NEVER try to do flooring alone again. I'm calling this company every time!

Obviously we were upset and Wayne simply hung the phone up! Who does that? Finally talked to owner who rescheduled some things and sent a crew out. Will update when job is completed. well it didn't get any better. Crew #2 came out. At first they appeared to know what they were doing. when they had the bulk of the floor down, they said they would finish when additional material came in. When we went upstairs, we discovered both a dresser drawer broken, and wooden pieces of what had been the dresser leg. Flooring was bubbled up due to debris underneath, Flooring was coming loose and falling off of the stairs. We were not happy! I contacted an independent contractor who stated it was the worst he had seen. I don't want any of the Griggs employees back. If you break something you should tell the owner.

After some hail damage to my house I requested quotes from several companies, Dave was the only one…read moreto respond in a timely manner. He quoted window replacement (for a significant amount less than an out of town company quoted a couple years ago), skirting replacement, and replacing a couple of siding panels. There was a miscommunication about the scheduled start date and they were short some skirting materials that extended the finish date. The crew (Henry and Greg) were polite, considerate, and skilled. They never left the house open - as quick as they pulled a window out they had a new one in - and even though they couldn't finish the skirting they used other material to keep the underside closed until they did finish. And the trim they installed around the inside of the windows looks great! Dave came by when the work was done to inspect the job and collect the check, waiting until the job was all the way finished to ask for payment. I will recommend D & B Ultra Exteriors to anyone that needs windows, siding, or skirting.
