We are supposed be on annual open and close as well as weekly maintenance. They started opening on June 6th. We had issues with first Tech not installing new Pump correctly. Mike (second Tech) came out twice and finished on June 13th. Since that date and some 35 plus phone calls and habitual not being true to their words, no one has ever showed up for weekly maintenance since. Horrible service. read more

DO NOT use this company for a new pool liner installation. We placed our liner order in June of 23 and as of today, February 28th 2024, we are still without a liner. I won't even waste your time and give you all the excuses they have come up with as to why. Bottom line is they will gladly take thousands of dollars from you and then take you on the most ridiculous process of unprofessional customer service you will EVER experience. I wish I would have done my due diligence before ever placing my order. We ordered a new pool liner in January. Today is June 20. I have no pool. I have called numerous times to find out a time table. I have been told at least 3 different stories: it's in their warehouse, it's in our warehouse, it's in transit. Apparently they can't get it done in a timely manner. In April the problem was the water table. In May the problem was they didn't have the liner. Now they MAY have the liner by July 4. Unacceptable. We have spent thousands of dollars on pool chemicals over the last 5 years. read more

I give it a one star only because I have to. We ordered a liner September 2022, it's now July 12th 2023 almost a year later still no liner no installation. If you are looking to purchase and install a liner I strongly encourage you to go elsewhere. We had to pay for the liner upfront still no liner. WORSE EVER!!!! Waited a month to get service and they postponed appointments 3 different times. When they finally showed up out of the blue, didn't give a heads up call to say they will be there on this day, will be there in xx min, or anything. They just showed up at the door and expected us to be there. I waited over a month for these guys and they couldn't wait 30 min for me to get home from work when they just showed up. This whole company is unprofessional and I don't see how they stay in business. Their prices are cheaper than average but it's probably because they have a bunch of monkies doing the job. read more

Our neighbor got a pool put in and they tore up the whole side yard between our houses getting equipment in and out. They also piled a huge pile of dirt onto our side of the yard and refused to level our yards when the job was finished. My husband called the manager at Martin Pools and he refuses to come and fix the situation. They cut corners on the job and refuse to do more than the minimum. If you ever get a pool put in by anyone, get it in writing that they will fix you and your neighbors yards. read more

We used them to close our pool 2019 and then open in April 2020. We went in to the Cabot location EVERY week during the summer to have our water tested.we were not happy when they opened our pool they changed all the seals on our pump ( still leaks) our water was slime green when they opened it and our liner was floating. We were told to fill the pool to the top to make the loner push the water out from under it, they said they would come back in two days to finish it. 11 days later I called them to come finish it they came by said it looked good and left 15 minutes max. They had to come out 2 more times never vacuumed it or anything the electrician came out to change a light bulb and then started putting in a new port we never ask for!! We stopped him and said we did not ask for it. But they may have spent a total of 1 and a half hours total here. We think we paid them in the Cabot location ( we may be wrong) but never received a bill .. until October 2020 which was 685.00 !almost 400 for 3.8 hours of labor and fixing the liner of our pool which they never did. I went to the Cabot store and brought the bill the staff at this store has always been very good, she told me to give her a week to find out what happened. I receive another bill state if that my husband gave approval for all this work to be done which most of it wasn't done,and stateing work IS NOT FREE! So I called Tina,she so much as called me a liar and insinuated I was trying to get this all free, I explained I thought we payed it and then tried to argue what was done she said to me it was "her bad" we didn't get a bill but we didn't call them either,what?? I was in your store every week all summer, and we could negotiate if I had just said oh we can't afford this right now or give me some time instead of saying the work wasn't done. Well there is no way I am doing that and then come 7 months later getting another bill! So since they didn't bill me I now can not argue what was done???? I will NEVER use them again!! Would not recommend them to anyone!! I know they don't care if they have my business but we were good customers and I feel like we were scammed and in top of that I was called a thief and a liar , for the record I went I. They only get one star because I am required to pick one. I would highly recommend that you NEVER use this company for ANY pool stuff. They are running scams and repeatedly sell you an over abundance of chemicals that you do not need just to create more problems in your pool so that you have to continue to spend money with them to "fix" it which really never happens. Tina has no idea what she is talking about and when you get Jessica she has no customer service what so ever and is rude and Micheal tell you that you are liar. When you call them on the things they are doing to destroy your pool they raise their voice and tell you to go somewhere else and hang up on you. Martin will not try to oversell you on product like some of their competitors. Pool maintenance service is a little hard to get started. They have a lot of business; but once they start coming they do a great job of keeping your pool clean. read more
