True hardwood wasn't an option for us due to some foundation issues, so we went with an engineered hardwood floor by Shaw. The Stewarts (yes, all of them) were on the job! The floor looks incredible, and we couldn't be happier. It took about a week to wrap up the job. After the install, we had a few questions about care and feeding of the new floor, and Jake was prompt with the info we needed. He even stopped by a couple of times while he was in our area to see if we had any questions or concerns. Wow, what a great experience with Lamar. I needed some very old carpet cleaned at my home. There…read morewere some very large and obvious stains that I didn't expect to come out. After getting the runaround with some other local companies, I found Lamar online. I called and they answered on the first ring and then showed up ON TIME that same day to give me a quote which was very fair. The communication is top notch - their automated system sends a text message when they are on their way - and every phone call you speak directly to the owner who will be doing your cleaning. I was very impressed with the care they took in cleaning our carpet. The furniture was moved and put on small styrofoam blocks and the 30+ year old carpet looked great once they were finished. I saw that they also offered dryer vent cleaning using a suction system and reluctantly had them do this for us, though I wasn't convinced it was necessary. They sent a video of the process and the incredible amount of lint that was pulled out of the vent - no wonder there are so many vent fires! I am so glad I added the dryer vent cleanout to the service. All in all a fantastic experience working with Lamar and I would recommend them to anyone.
