Workmen we're very detailed in scraping floor completely clean of prior flooring and installed new plank flooring with zero flaws. Thresholds/transitions looked great. The thing is, we have a gap in our hardwood. We'd hoped to patch it with the same kind of wood, or something similar enough that it wouldn't stand out *too* much if we filled in the gap. The problem? We didn't know what kind of wood it was. D'oh. Here, this Lumber Liquidators was awesome. We came in, asked about their "scrap" wood (because we only needed two square feet, tops) and to see if they could identify the wood from a loose piece. They immediately recognized what kind it was, and were very informative about their scrap flooring. In the end, they didn't have what we needed. But they were quick, polite, and efficient in answering all of our questions and hearing what we wanted/needed. They told us about their products and services, answered our questions, and let us check out the inventory a bit. No hard sell, not even a second's hesitation - they were great. I will be back when we need to re-floor something larger, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend these guys to anyone looking at flooring!
