I first heard about Dr. wang was from a family friend. When I had strep Troat, at first, I went to see the other two physicians (not going to name them) at another clinic. However, the medications (Guaifenesin and Zyrtec) that they prescribe me were not working quite well; in the end, I end up coughing throughout the nights, and there was a bloodstain on my mucus. It was such a painful experience that I won't ever forget about it or want to experience it again. When I first see Dr.Wang, she immediately prescribes Azithromycin and Robitussin. After I start taking Azithromycin and Robitussin, the cough was not as severe. But the cough continues, so I went to see her again. She then prescribes penicillin potassium 500 mg and instructs me to continue taking Robitussin but start intaking this newly prescribed antibiotic. To my surprise, it was effective, and I finally was able to sleep through the night. Not to mention, every time I get my flu shot, the staff would always contact me the next day to see how I am feeling, to know if I'm experiencing any discomfort or major side effects from the shot. I'm so glad that Dr.Wang is my current PCP, and are grateful for their care. I would highly recommend Dr.Wang and this clinic.

First, she promised me she will not charge me for the visit and to see report, i only have to pay for the lab. Im not the type of person who takes advantage from other so thinking to treat her for a tea time to thank her. However, when i went back to see report she said didn't expect me to come back. And since i need to see report she need she collect $100 from me added up from the last visit, then i agreed. I quickpay my excoworker to pay for me that night. But the next day, i found out she only charge $40 for her selfpay patients to see her include followup to see report. I was so mad at that time. Two days later, i received a call from her office "remind me to pay." Ha! So phony, i told her that i dont have cash that day and she told me nicely, "no! no! Its ok, you can bring it back next time". I still paid her b/c i dont want to owe her anything. But no more business! To pay for a doctor visit is a reasonable thing when i paid more while other paid less is not fair. To her, doctor is just a job to earn more money and thats it. Be aware! Be aware! Be aware!

In both my visits she dismissed a few of my medical issues and made out of the box suggestions which were fringe even for a DO. Her misunderstanding of modern western medicine and choice to believe studies not accepted in mainstream medicine, are both concerning and upsetting. When I discussed a suggestion she made to me with another physician, they were shocked, and confirmed that I was in fact right. The office is conveniently located right by the 6 train and although the waiting room is small and a little loud (you're seated right across from the receptionists), I've never waited more than 10 minutes for an appointment and I'm always out of the office in about 30-40 min. Dr. Amsterdam always delivers my blood test results within a few days via an online patient portal and also communicates with patients directly via the portal so you can login and ask her questions without having to call the office. She's also helpful with referrals--actually calling me herself to provide me with the names and numbers of specialists to see. I highly recommend her if you need a new primary care physician!

I booked a house call on the Domus website and the next morning Dr. Gagarkin came to me, at my home, right on time. No commute, no waiting room, no rescheduling my whole day around a 15-minute appointment. In addition to the convenience of only needing 30 minutes for my appointment, the level of care was also above and beyond what I had come to expect from a doctor visit. Dr. Gagarkin listened carefully, asked thoughtful follow-up questions, and worked with me to land on a solution that actually fit my situation rather than a one-size-fits-all type of treatment. With my previous doctor I had to sit in a waiting room to be called, then sit in a treatment room to answer 20+ questions from a nurse, then wait in the treatment room after being told "the doctor will be in shortly".
