Dr. Kroner is fantastic! I've been a patient of hers for many years and she has made a world of difference--THE difference. Her approach is both scientific and holistic. She has a very thorough intake process, asks a lot of questions, collects a lot of data (tests), and then reviews the results with you, walking you through each one, interpreting them, answering questions, connecting dots (she is *amazing* at this), and asking more questions to find more dots. She is a sleuth(!), genuinely interested in finding underlying reasons for my health issues. Creating and tweaking my health plan is a collaborative process with her. Her recommendations are informed by my lifestyle and my own approach to healthcare. She's helped me effectively manage health issues with dietary changes where many doctors were quick to prescribe medication. That said, she will prescribe medication when she thinks the situation merits it. And she gives me guidance when a specialist is involved, offering precise language/questions I can use when consulting them. And because she is alert and has an integrative approach, treating the whole person, she has found things in test results that others have missed or not bothered to mention because it was outside their realm.  Dr. Kroner is incredibly kind. Cutting Edge Medical Care w/ Warmth and Compassion (and never rushed) I recently became Dr. Zina Kroner's patient. In just the first few visits, I was amazed. She's clearly a top-notch doctor, well-versed in all the latest science, but she's also a very warm and down-to-earth person. Attentive and incredibly responsive. All the things you hope for in a doctor, but rarely find these days. Most doctor visits are rushed and not very thorough. Dr. Kroner was completely different. During my first visit, after waiting no more than a few minutes in the waiting room, we met in her office and talked for a while about my medical history and the issues that I have been dealing with. She went far beyond the "bare minimum" type of questions that most internists focus on, and I didn't feel rushed at all. Dr. Kroner took detailed notes, listened patiently, asked excellent questions (including about my diet and nutrition), and gave me new insights into ongoing issues that other doctors had overlooked. After my physical exam (and a mercury-free flu shot), we sat down to discuss the types of blood tests she wanted to run and the reason for each test. Then, when the blood results came back, Dr. Kroner provided detailed explanations and took the time to answer all of my questions. We also discussed which vitamins and other supplements I should take. I hadn't realized that my B12 was low and that I had a slight sensitivity to gluten that was affecting my metabolism. Other doctors never ordered blood tests for those things and I never knew to ask for such tests. A few days after my visit, I realized that I had a few additional questions that I had forgotten to ask. Dr. Kroner was incredibly responsive. She quickly got back to me with answers to everything. We have been thrilled to have Dr. Kroner as our doctor for 2 years now. Not only is she incredibly smart, she is the most compassionate doctor I have ever seen. Look no further, Dr Kroner is top-notch. If you need answers to a medical problem that no one can figure out, she is the best investigator to have on your case. She encourages patient participation and thinks outside the box. You've never been to a doctor like Zina Kroner. Trust me. Honestly, I was a non-believer in supplements when I went to see Dr. Kroner. She recommended a laundry list of vitamins and minerals. I reluctantly tried them and noticed a change within 2-3 months. We've been brainwashed in this country to believe that Western medicine, with its countless toxic medications and surgeries, has all the answers. Think again. Dr. Kroner is the kind of physician that other doctors should model after. She gives you full personal attention, dedicates as much time as needed to thoroughly evaluate the root of the problem and uses whollistic approach to promote a healthy body. I had seen one doctor after the next while going through every test under the sun trying to figure out what was causing certain health issues I was experiencing. Dr. Zina Kroner has been my doctor for 7 years now. I have a rare autoimmune illness, with all sorts of complications.
